- Stuart (10/5): Had a fantastic stay, it's a delightful property, everything you need has been carefully provided! - The lovely hosts Maria and Arnaldo met us at the property and showed us around, including the fab garden where peppers, chillies and bananas were growing - help yourselves. The villa is really quite perfect, amazing patio with pool, views, great sized bedrooms with beautiful en suite bathrooms. Kitchen/living room was a great size, so thoughtfully equipped with everything you can need. Very stylish and top end quality materials throughout. Also a great location for visiting many parts of the island, Funchal only 20 mins drive, many lavadas again only 30mins and main North/South road only 10 minutes away. We wouldn't hesitate in going back and thoroughly recommend the Madeira Protea Retreat. Thanks very much Nothing
