• Alex "Maximmus" (8/5): La ubicación en la mejor zona pero Pésima por el ruido externo de los bares. - Buena ubicación para hospedarse en la pura 5a av, lo que hace super caminable todo. Nunca hubo wifi, el hotel no resolvió. Al frente hay dos bares que no paran la música hasta las 230 am lo cual hace imposible conciliar el sueño, Pésimo si uno se levanta temprano para salir de tour (y no es fiestero). Las habitaciones deberían tener equipo que controle el ruido externo.

• María del Carmen (10/5): C - La ubicación es buena, pudimos llegar rápidamente a la playa, saliendo encuentras lugares para desayunar, comer y cenar, el personal fue muy amable, la habitación estaba limpia y en buenas condiciones, el costo fue accesible respecto a lo que ofrece. Cumplió con mis expectativas. El ruido del exterior, ya que está casi en frente de un bar sin embargo la habitación fue muy cómoda y eso ayudó a conciliar el sueño.

• BRISA (9/5): - Su ubicación es en una zona muy movida de la quinta avenida, la atención del personal y respuesta ante las necesidades es excelente. Se puede mejorar las instalaciones en el baño. No está señalizado el hospedaje entonces no es fácil de identificar cuando llegas, y en la noche para acceder te dan una llave de la reja externa, recomiendo que revisen que si sea la que corresponde.

Di fronte al 7eleven sempre aperto giorno e notte molto comodo. Dista due passi dal mare Mamita's beach. Di notte c'è il Señor Frogs con musica fino alle 3h ogni giorno. Si sente ma a noi che ci Piace la movida non è stato un problema dormire con la musica. Chi non riesce a dormire col rumore, munitevi di tappa orecchi. Abbiamo soggiornato nel monolocale Queen per 17 notti. Si trova al secondo piano. C'è un monta carica che puoi usare molto comodo per le valigie. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Non potevamo sperare di meglio. Il bagno con doccia ampia era perfetta. Non credere alle recensioni negative sull'acqua fredda. Bisogna solo farla scorrere 2 minuti ed arriva anche bollente. Camera spaziosa e letto enorme e soprattutto COMODO. Armadio ampio per vestiti. Angolo cottura, cucina frigorifero ampio, Micro onde, macchina caffè, piatti tazze posate... Tavola e sedie a disposizione. La camera dispone di un ventilatore e dell'aria condizionata funzionali. Ti forniscono un asciugacapelli ottimo. Il ferro da stiro è su richiesta ed è molto buono. Lo staff della reception è sempre disponibile, gentile ed efficiente. Sempre col sorriso. È stato davvero un piacere. Per le pulizie, un ringraziamento in particolare a Carlito che è fantastico. Mai visto una pulizia così impeccabile in hotel. Questo ragazzo è una perla rara. Siamo rimasti a bocca aperta. Ringraziamo tutti voi e sicuramente torneremo. Ci avete reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile. Consiglio questa struttura 100%!

• Abigail (8/5): Loud and central, but decent place - The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was nice. Wifi worked well. Great location in terms of shops, restaurants and the beach. There is a lift, which I found useful. The location was not so good in terms of noise at night. The bar next door plays very loud music until 1.30am. A good place to stay if you want to party, but for a restful night's sleep, not really. Would be nice if there were a couple of extras in the room e.g. soap for handwashing, some drinking water.

Across the street from a very busy bar blasting music until 2-3am. No soundproofing. No hot water. Poor water pressure. Stained sheets. Worn/frayed towels. Closet and drawers won’t stay closed and handle is dangling. You can see daylight through cracks in the door and big gap under the door. Property needs a complete overhaul.

One guy got inside our room with another key our door was close but he could open it with his key!

• Larisa (1/5): Bad - The only plus that it is located in the center of Playa del Carmen. The hotel is very old, needs rénovation, the door was not easy lock and unlock, the room was outdated. The music from the nearest bar was too loud that we couldn't fell asleep until 2 a.m.. Don't recommend.
• Kerry (8/5): Very good - Location on 5th street is perfect. Everything is on your doorstep. Check in was nice and easy. It's noisy as there is a bar right outside which closes at 2pm. We expected this though as we read the previous reviews. Just don't go to bed early ;)
• Klaus (6/5): A clean and pleasant budget hotel - It was right in the heart of downtown Playa on 5th Avenue a 15 minute walk from ADO. The beach is only a 5 minute walk. It was a clean and no frills budget hotel. If you want to sleep before 2 am you should forget it. The Señor Frog across the street is blasting it’s music until that time. However if you are enjoying the nightlife until then it is adequate and you can sleep in. There was no hot water when I was there for two nights.
• Alice (5/5): Passable - It's good value for money in that it is a very central location and the room itself was comfortable and clean. The other reviews say it all: be prepared for incredibly loud thumping music until at least 2am every night. We were only really staying because we had a flight from Cancun, but overall it wasn't worth it because it was impossible to get much sleep.

General: No ventilation in the room with various spots of black mould in the bedroom and in the bathroom. The towels were overused and somewhat stained. I never used them. There is a lot of noise as it is located on 5th avenue. The WiFi is spotty at best. Then, my main gripe is that there was NO hot water for the duration of my stay. I message the reception but received no response. I asked at reception and was told.to.let it run for 2-3 minutes, but at that point there was no water running. It was a very frustrating experience. Bedroom: decent size bed but the bedding wasn't adequate. I chose to sleep in my sleeping bag inner rather than on the bedding.

• Hector (9/5): Pretty good last min booking - Walking distance from almost everything, access code to get inside the property 😀 The club noise, not very quiet during the peak hours of the night life, but you get used to it after a few minutes!
• Nenagh (1/5): Unbelievably loud. Rip off prices. Unhelpful staff. - Location is in the Center of the town. Nothing else positive to say. Unbelievably loud!! Absolutely do not recommend, worse place I stayed in the whole of Mexico! Unhelpful and unreasonable management. This hotel is bang smack in the centre, and due to the open roof and glass doors has absolutely no sound proofing. It is surrounded by clubs which means you’ll have thumping music into the early hours, not just bass either, it sounded as though we were in the club making it absolutely impossible to sleep, even with ear plugs. There was no hot water, and no towels as stated in the post. The room was small and dirty. The ‘designated smoking area’ was directly outside our room, and when we arrived the door to the room was wide open so our whole room stank of second hand smoke. Absolutely horrid and awful if you struggle with asthma as my partner does. He was immediately feeling unwell and coughing. Raised all of these issues with reception and were told “this hotel is not for resting, it is for people who want to party” we asked about other room which they said was ok but they couldn’t promise us would be any better, this room was louder than the first. We ended up leaving at around midnight and having to book another hotel! We spoke to reception about a refund which they agreed they would refund the remaining 2 nights, they took all our details to make the refund and said that booking.com would be in touch. We then Received a message from booking.com saying that the hotel refused to refund us as they “had provided an alternative option”. I explained all the problems we had to booking and even showed a video of the noise. But they still wouldn’t help us and booking.com offered a voucher of only £12 to try and help towards the £70 we spent in this hotel and the addition £35 we spent on the night elsewhere as it was impossible to stay here. Lost out on a tonne of money. Do not stay here!

• Persefoni (2/5): Very poor - It was located in the central street of Playa del Carmen, that was great. However, it was very noisy at night because of the restaurants and bars in the area. It was very small, there were no windows, the bed was not comfortable, the sheets and towels were dirty and torn. I did not feel safe there because the door of the room was like a window door.

But because of lack of any sound isolation in the rooms (glass doors) the music level at night was sometimes painful to listen. Can be nice if somebody is going to clubs/drinking but before diving really terrible experience. As an extra there was a visible mold in bathroom and next to.the table.
