Guest Reviews
- Reynavij (10/5): - Sobrang lapit sa palengke, session road, burnham no need to ride a jeep or taxi. Sobrang bait ng mag asawa na may ari ng capsul very accommodating. Sobrang mura din ng price nila pretty decent. I dont like na kurtina lang yung divider since magkasama yung male/female so nakakakaba siya for me na first time mag travel magisa (baka kasi pasukin ako) sana palitan niyo nung pinto ng capsul para medyo secure. Maingay from 10am-10pm since madaming katabi na restau bars dami nagkakaraoke and rinig mo yung buong palengke.

- Lea (7/5): Decent stay - The capsule beds provide nice privacy, were comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms were not very nice and also not very clean. The shower was not working well. Someone stole 300k IDR, some money from Qatar and Oman out of my backpack, that was in the area, no lockers provided There was no common area. The first night the staff cooked and the hole area was smelly and I was concerned my things will smell because of it, but that was luckily not the case. Staff was friendly, but it did not feel genuie to me, but more like strategy.
- Russell (7/5): Okay - Ok for a short stay. Comfortable bed, good wifi, safe, secure, not far from centre and walkable from bus stations. Laundry service below hostel. Entry panel on door can be a nuisance.

- Fhelito (7/5): - I like the location. It is located at the center of the city. The shower and comfortroom.
- Kirill (9/5): - Really nice place with a really friendly host. It's right in the center of the city with the main city market just outside Could be a bit noisy because of the market outside, but just get an earplugs and you will be alright
- Kyle (10/5): - Nice stay in a good location. Kind stuff. New, soft beds. Wear earplugs and noise from market outside won't bother you.
- yuichiro (1/5): Impossible - The location is a bit confusing. It's different from Google Maps. I encountered 5 cockroaches in 2 nights.

- John Paul (10/5): It has become my go-to place to stay whenever I visit Baguio. -
- YuZong (10/5): - Really loved this place, so I stayed here again when I traveled back to Baguio! The owner is really nice and helpful, thanks a lot.
My last comment:
The location is excellent—right inside the Baguio Public Market and very close to the Jeepney terminals. It’s only a 15-minute walk to SM Mall and the bus station. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the water heater worked perfectly. It's a great value for the price! What made my stay truly unforgettable was the owner, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Because of this, I extended my stay for another day. From now on, CAPSUTEL is my only choice whenever I visit Baguio!

- Allison (8/5): - Owner was lovely and helpful and the mattress was so comfortable. No large lockers for big bags, just a big closet where everyone else’s bag is and a small locker for valuables to the side.

- CHRISNER JAMES (8/5): Nice one - Accessibility to all.
- Camilla (7/5): Bon rapport qualité/prix - Bel emplacement et bon rapport qualité prix Séparation très fine entre les lits, on pouvait entendre les respirations d’à côté.
Douches très basiques

- Jane (6/5): For Extreme budget travellers only - Location but it has its pros and cons.
Pros: near Burnham park, night market
Cons: located within the market. Expect the noise and smell Cleanliness - from the entrance, you can smell the nearby meat shop and something fishy. Surprisingly, once inside the unit, the smell is fine. The reception area is clean, but the same can’t be said for the capsule area. I even had a “friendly neighbor” (an insect) waiting for me, and I noticed a few dead cockroaches as well.
Noise level- the “capsules” are made of plywood and what seems to be 2x3 galvanized steel framing, covered only by a curtain. Mind you, very bit of movement can be heard. From footsteps, alarms, welcoming guests from the reception, coughing, sneezing, zipping of bags, and yes, even breathing of other guest above my pod LMAO! It is even worst if you are located near the window because you can hear people from the market. While noise control might be difficult, improving the capsule enclosure would help. You can easily see other guests, and they can see you.

- Trisha Mar (10/5): Omygosh try this one shen you’re going in baguio it is very reasonable price and acceyto everything adide from that the - It is very affordable and it is very accessible to everything and it’s also comfortable and clean too! I can say make a thing inside the bed where tourist can clip their fan😊
- Jemeca (9/5): -
- Zheng Jue (10/5): Hidden gem in Baguio suitable for solo travellers. - Good location. Walking distance from bus terminal and right beside the jeepneys terminal. Room is clean and capsule is extremely spacious with your curtains, power socket and light.
- Christopher (1/5): - When I arrived, the staff told me it was fully booked. I booked November 6, 2025. If it was a system glitch, then the rating is for both the property and booking.com.
- Kendrick Dominic (8/5): Value for money, clean, and good location. - Value for money. Property is clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The property is located at the heart of the local market. It can be noisy in the evening esp karaoke outside, but if you’re not a light sleeper then this won’t be a problem. The capsule is good enough to buff the sound.

- Jaramilla (9/5): perfect one or two night stay for solo travellers planning hiking trips in the area. - I enjoyed the lovely couple who welcomed me and showed me the works of things. The husband gave me a lovely heads up about the noise, but i’m a heavy sleeper so I was used to it. You get your money’s worth and it is still a comfortable stay. It’s not really a complaint, but I did have some difficulty finding the entrance, since it is hidden within the closed market stalls. I accidentally walked into someone’s apartment looking for the place!

- Earl (3/5): Bad location, poor aminities. There are better hostels that you can get with the same price or lower, around Baguio. - Nothing Everything. I don’t understand why this gets a high review. From the start, the location of the hostel is very sketchy. The entrance is already dirty(from the stairs to the door). Saw dead cockroaches. When you enter the room, it does not feel like a hostel at all. It’s like a small room with multiple bunk beds. No AC. The rest rooms so dirty that I couldn’t get myself to take a bath there. The stairs to the upper bed is uncomfortable and hurts my feet. The locker is just a wooden compartments but open from the back and also very small. The bed is wooden that you can literally hear the other side’s breath. I paid almost 900 pesos for this but I could’ve gotten a better hostel in Baguio with the same price or lower. I like the staff tho, it’s just that this hostel is really not for me.
- Ronbo4610 (10/5): - Well organized capsules. Inexpensive. The showers and bathrooms are a bit rough.
- LRC (9/5): From Imus to Baguio - It is located at the center where Baguio Market is located. Public transportation is accessible. Everything you need is by walking distance. Accommodation is suited for solo travellers. No issues with wi-fi access. Common bathroom was not a problem. You are also able to bring in food because they will let you use their mini kitchen. Owners and staff are friendly and they will go extra mile for you. Thank you for allowing me to experience staying at your Capsutel. The only setback is the struggle for people who are using accessible devices for you might find it difficult to go up the building.

- 범준 (10/5): - The hostel was also close to the main destination, and above all, the friendly reception of the staff was good. ♡ I was at a loss because I was not good at English, but thanks to the kind and delicate reception of the staff, I enjoyed the trip and stayed comfortably. ♡
- Milea (8/5): Dacă merg în Baguio voi sta acolo - Poziție bună Nu a fost vina lor, a fost taifun , nu a fost curent 3 zile( nu dus)
- JERALD KARL ANGELO (6/5): - mura, oo.
ang lakas makalocal agad kasi downtown siya, palengke, lubog ka agad sa lungsod. -the ladder on the top bunk is stiff, baka pwede naman nila kapalan yon steps.
-may iimprove pa yun CR and Shower.
- Rizaldo (8/5): Good - Location Limited space
- Christian Val (9/5): Simple place but the owners will make sure you get a good experience! - People really make a difference - the place may be simple, modest, practical BUT the owners and staff made it memorable. Shout out to Hasem and Maddie (I may be making up names at this point) who made sure our stay was convenient and restful. It’s worth noting that the place is close to karaoke places, but they make sure to stop their “festivities” at 10pm or some nights before 10.
- Carolina (9/5): -
- Rochelle Mie (10/5): - the owners were very friendly and accommodating. they even helped me find a ride late in the evening and made sure I went safely. would definitely book if I visit Baguio again! 👍🏻😊
- Riccardo (9/5): - Convenient, cheap and central. Not a luxury hotel obviously. The food market outside is a bit dirty, but ehi, it's the Philippines!
- Kathleen Rachel (8/5): - The owner/people manning are quick to respond. In the afternoon I noticed that they were also very prompt in wiping the hallway.
They were even gracious(smiling even) when I told them I'd be leaving at an ungodly hour(3am). They were hospitable enough compared to other places that charges for the same amount.
The location is near Burnham Park, depends on how fast you walk, it's about 5-10minutes by foot. They are near the public market so it's nice that you can get souvenirs nearby.
Also, for the price I thought they wouldn't have hot shower but they did. And it's really nice when the general location is pretty cold. The bathroom could use some more cleaning. The capsule might need some painting and actual embedded hooks for their fan instead of a stick-on hook. Or provide a permanent fan for all their capsules since the place doesn't have A/C I imagine it to be steaming during the hotter months of the year
- Jamine (6/5): -
- Beleño (9/5): I had a hard time looking for the place but the staff was kind enough to pick me up -
- Ericson Tenten (9/5): Great for solo travelling - Price is very good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Location is near the downtown and to the market where you can buy souvenirs. None.
