- Alison (10/5): Great for a couple plus two dogs. Easy to park. Quiet at night because away from the road. - Easy to park, great for dogs - enclosed garden and easy to clean floors.
The sauna was great. Lovely green views from the courtyard - feeling of nature and space!
Quiet to sleep at night. Peaceful and relaxing place to be. Easy access to Pembrokeshire beaches and countryside in the car. Nothing
- jonathan (10/5): Blaencwm cottages - Absolutely lovely place ,very cosy and spotless, had everything there you needed, added bonus of the donkeys, dog friendly and enclosed garden so they could run and play ,would definitely recommend ,owners were great as well . Having to leave, nothing i could say i didnt like
- Lewis (10/5): - It was a great location great stay . The photos do not do it justice
- Soham (10/5): Great hosts, clean property easy to find only hoped the weather was better but really enjoyed the stay at the cottage. M - Had everything we required The property was perfect
- Katharine (10/5): - A perfect cozy spot. The facilities were great and the sauna and wood stove were amazing to come home to after a day out walking in the coastal winds.
The kitchen facilities were great for self catering. Had everything you’d need. Bed not super comfy, but doesn’t detract from the stay
- Jenny (10/5): Fantastic - It was clean comfortable and welcoming, they thought off everything
- shireen (10/5): Great - Great location, great staff lovely home
- Martin (8/5): -
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Relaxing time. - Peace and quiet if we wanted it otherwise close to many towns/villages. Leaving!
- Jennie (10/5): A home from home - The property was spacious and situated in a peaceful location. It had all we needed, and owners were lovely and were always on hand to give advice N/A
- Rebecca (9/5): Beautiful place to stay - The location is fantastic. So pretty and well maintained with wonderful views and the added bonus of 3 very lovely donkeys and some lovely ducks! The cottage (Y Beudy) was spacious, comfortable, especially the bed, and we even had our own en suite sauna!!! It was very clean and we arrived to a welcome pack of home made cake, fresh farm eggs and milk!
The owners, Alison and Steve, were very friendly and helpful and welcoming.
There was a log fire was an added bonus and our own private garden as well as the shared outside spaces which included the Dingely Dell with hammock ( a personal favourite).
We were only a 20 minute drive from beautiful beaches and woodland walks.
We would most certainly recommend and hope to return! Nothing, it was all beautiful
- Michelle (10/5): We have had the most amazing time here, wonderful hosts, great views, large spacious property with plenty of room for ou - It was like home from home, all the comforts you need. Welcome pack of eggs, milk and cake, beautiful views, hospitality was exceptional. The property was clean and plenty of parking. There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.
- Samantha (10/5): Lovely holiday home - Good location not far from Cardigan. Lovely property with everything well thought through. The children absolutely loved the donkeys and the "upside down house". Hosts were lovely, left some welcome goodies and came to introduce their self and explain the heating etc. Easy check in and parking outside the house. Comfortable beds and sofas. Washing up liquid and sponges provided as well as all towels, toilet rolls and shower gel/shampoo. We only used it as a base but would love to return and spend more time there. Nothing!
- Rafal (9/5): Superb -
- Robert (10/5): A magical memory-filled stay at Y Beudy - A warm Welsh welcome from Alison and Steve on our arrival with a homemade Bara Brith, their own hens’ eggs and some milk for tea after a long day travelling confirmed that this family had truly embraced us into their lovely cottage Y Beudy nestling in the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside🏴❤️
Beautifully decorated with excellent amenities, spacious yet cosy with a nice enclosed space for our small pooch to run around, this quiet cottage was perfect for exploring the countryside perfused with historic houses and gardens, ancient monuments and imposing castles and edged with the most spectacular beaches all of which were dog friendly too! We filled our time with early starts, coming home as the sun was setting so as not to miss any of the wonderful landscapes and experiences Pembrokeshire had to offer and the cottage was at the heart of all our adventures and provided us with an excellent night’s rest with it’s tranquil setting.
Totally recommend Alison and Steve as the perfect hosts, for creating such a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere at Y Beudy and we would love to come back in the summer to stay and see Pembrokeshire in all its green and charming landscape even though we were blessed with a dry March week! 😊😊🐾
Thank you so much Alison and Steve for helping to create some truly magical memories ❤️❤️🐾🏴
- Radiance (10/5): Very comfortable and peaceful - Very comfortable and peaceful, everything we needed was available plus some lovely welcome food.
2 bathrooms was a great bonus
Alison was very welcoming and helpful
Excellent stay Nothing, all good
- Mark (10/5): Alion and Steve were fantastically helpful and pleasant - It ticked all the boxes with facilities.
- Gabeliene (10/5): Cosy, clean, lovely location - The cottage had absolutely everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. Lovely location and very caring hosts N/A
- David (10/5): Don't miss out on this lovely location - The location was lovely and peaceful. Our little one loved the low level windows so she could look out over the donkey field. We booked a lot with booking.com and this was by far the best place we have stayed. Great value lovely few and great hosts Nothing great value for what was on offer
- Richard (10/5): Amazing place and hosts. -
- Dawn (10/5): Lovely and peaceful. - It was a little home from home.
There was literally everything we needed. Kitchen had everything.
Condiments, kitchen roll. Fresh eggs were left for our arrival.
You could cook anything you wanted there, it was all there.
Plenty of bedding.
Toilet rolls and handwash, shower gel in bathroom . Honestly can't think of anything.
- Alysha (8/5): Lovely little staycation - excellent value. - Great size for 5/6 people and a lovely little garden area. Kids LOVED feeding the donkeys. Nothing - was great value
- Caroline (10/5): Excellent stay -
- Julie (10/5): Cosy relaxing stay - Excellent relaxing stay, fab location.Really cosy and warm.
Everything there for super stay. Hosts had thought of everything. Loved the fresh milk ,eggs and cake when we arrived.
Sauna was a real treat . Nothing !!!
- Cjcope (10/5): Exceptional - The exceptional hospitality shown by our hosts is second to none. True Welsh hospitality at its finest. The cottage we were in was simple but very comfortable and had everything we needed and more, including farm fresh eggs, milk from the local dairy, and homebaked and delicious bara brith. We stayed over Christmas, and our hosts did a great job at decorating the cottage and making it feel like home from home. Also, absolutely recommend the BBQ hut...beautifully set up and a great way to spend an evening... especially in winter. Lastly, the donkeys are a cheeky delight and great fun to visit with carrot sticks! Overall a peaceful, happy place to stay and escape from it all (but with fast WiFi if it's needed 😅) Nothing. Our stay was perfect!
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, warm, homely, and great hosts
- Anne (10/5): Peaceful Stay - The house was really lovely, clean and cosy. It was such a peaceful location. The provisions on arrival were yummy too.
- Kathleen (10/5): Fab property dog and family friendly in Pembrokeshire - Private garden for the dog, well presented laid out property, nice views, donkeys were good for the kids. Friendly owners who provided us with milk, eggs and welshcakes that went down a treat. Also they met us at the property to greet us and again when we checked out. Variety of board games to play and we liked having the fire we dont have one at home. We had a lovely time. The price was affordable and very reasonable for a small family on a budget. As a bigger person I did find the shower a bit of a squeeze to access so a better accessible door or screen would of made it more comfortable and in the kitchen it had a microwave but no obvious microwave safe containers/bowls/dishes a few of those would of been handy after a later arrival and wanting a quick meal.
- Mark (9/5): Superb - The location was great.
- Matthew (10/5): Amazing stay at perfect property - Everything, Cottage was perfect, had everything we needed & more, great location, hosts were so nice & friendly, definitely return again Nothing
- Jacquelyne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (9/5): Superb -
- Janice (10/5): Ideal location, comfortable cottage, pet friendly - Ideal location for our walking holiday. Hosts, Alison and Steve, very friendly and welcoming. Good secure garden for the dogs as well asextra off lead area. Nothing
- Vanessa (7/5): we shall be happy to make a return visit in the future. - Very generous welcome gifts. The location was Ideal for meeting up with extended family in the area. Personally I found the stairs challenging; from the websitei had the impression the property was all on one level.
- Jacob (10/5): A perfect place for a relaxing stay and a break from a busy modern day life. - A beautiful property with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, decent bathrooms with good quality showers and a good kitchen so you can cook up some nice meals. It’s a very peaceful and quiet location set within beautiful grounds with nice gardens, ducks and donkeys which we had a walk down to see most evenings. There’s plenty to do in the local area, such as walking and wildlife spotting. There was nothing we didn’t like.
- Pamela (9/5): Peaceful, relaxing everything we had hoped for - Everything we needed for a quiet break, in a lovely area we had not visited before
- Penelope (7/5): Comfortable stay with welcoming hosts. - Great location for our four night stay. Spacious lounge and kitchen areas and the eggs, bara brith, milk and cordial were much appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the bath towels were lovely and thick. Plenty of hangers and bath robes were a bonus. The property smelt a little damp, particularly in the bathroom adjoining the kitchen. The decor is a little dated, even for a character cottage. A spare toilet roll would have been useful!
- Stephen (9/5): Wish we could of stayed longer but we will be back soon with grandchild - Location was very good easy reach of everything beaches shops town ...very quiet which we loved and had lots of space for you to walk round and see the animals and birds Alison and Steve were great hosts and we loved the the eggs milk and welsh cakes thank you both Nothing really had a great stay and will definitely be back to explore with our grand child
- Caroline (10/5): Amazing place as always Alison and Steve great hosts thanks Rob and Caroline xx - Everything great place great hosts perfect Nothing all perfect
- Lydia (10/5): Beautiful base for Pembrokeshire - A wonderful haven - fabulous hosts, with spacious and comfortable cottages. The BBQ hut was fabulous and perfect for an afternoon of lazing away between sightseeing trips. 100% recommend! All was fantastic. And a faulty dishwasher was quickly addressed by the lovely hosts.
- Martyn (10/5): Absolute bliss - From the moment we arrived at the property from the beautiful views from upstairs of the Preseli hills and the coast we were at ease. Our dog settled in straightaway ( normally takes 48hrs to settle). Easy to find cottage via A40/A478 (Narberth) wouldn't recommend cross country unless you know the route. Breathtaking scenery, relax or explore it's got it all..
- Kaylea-marie (10/5): Blaencwm cottages with 1 dog! - These cottages are amazing - Alison and Steve were awesome hosts, accommodating every need my partner and I had.
We stayed for 3 nights with our year old staffy puppy, she absolutely loved it. She also recieved extra pampering from the hosts, whom helped us out by checking in on her and letting her out whilst we were out for most of the day. We were welcomed with some beautiful local produce which was a lovely surprise (local milk, local eggs and some home cooked bara brith 👌). The location is easy to get to, with parking on site and a local shop approximately 200 yards away.
There are 2 donkeys that live on site, 30 seconds away from the cottages and glamping pod that are adorable and friendly - they're very photogenic and seemed to enjoy selfies 🤳 😀 🫏
Being in an ideal location, towns such as cardigan and fishguard are only a short drive away (10-15 minutes).
The cottages themselves are lovely buildings, and the surrounding scenery is a delight to wake up to, and explore with plenty of trails and a coastal path in close proximity.
My partner and I highly recommend a stay here, we loved every aspect of our holiday here, thankyou once again to Steve and Alison 🙏😊😁 There was nothing that we would have liked to change.
There were no issues that we experienced during our stay.
- Daniel (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (10/5): The best week we have had in a long time. A massive thank you to Alison and Steve. We will see you again soon - What a fantastic cottage. Much bigger than the photos show. Two separate bathrooms and a sauna. Very well appointed kitchen. Living room was spacious but cosy with a log burner. Large enclosed garden was fab for our dogs. The bedroom had a fantastic king sized bed. Nothing. I could easily live there
- Jonathan (9/5): Lovely place - Clean, cozy, good location, nice free cake ! Na
- Ian (10/5): Fabulous property really enjoyed my saty - Everything Nothing
- Dan (10/5): My husband surprised me with a valentine mini break here it was so lovely also Alison and Steve do an amazing afternoon - Property has everything you needed Alison and Steve were amazing and very kind great location very quiet Nothing
- Meek (10/5): Outstanding all round. - This cottage was outstanding i couldnt believe the extraordinary vaule for money the quality of the towels and bedding was absolutely amazing, they is not a bad word i can say ,the host were so friendly we had fresh milk and eggs with stay beautiful cake the owner made, myself grandparents and children have booked for summer week away as soon as we came home! We didnt want to leave home from home 🙂 They is nothing i could possibly say bad about this beautiful well kept gorgeous house.
- Gwenda (8/5): Very good - just what we and the dogs needed. - The location was fantastic. The owners were extremely helpful. The cottage was cosy and private with its own garden. Easy parking. We loved the woodburner. The duck pond was sweet. Nothing really! But just to say, it would be nicer if there was a window in the lounge to see out into the back garden and if there was a wider patio area.
- Christine (9/5): Lovely and peaceful!thank you -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kc (8/5): Very good -
- Clair (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Kirsty (5/5): Passable - property states dogs welcome yet doesnt state not to be left at any point in cottage during stay ! arrived tea time first day second day attempted to get supplies from local aldi which is approx 15 min drive to get a phone call saying dog barking and the owner had put her head through the kitchen window which is going to entice a dog . Having to take the dog absolutely everywhere on our honey moon made our stay hard work as not many places in the town are dog friendly unless you like to buy craft items. etc trying to find things todo daily apart from walks and visit beaches with dogs was impossible we left to come home a day early as the isolation just wasn’t for us so unless you go purely for dog walking as entertainment don’t bother
- Vanessa (9/5): Superb - The host was very helpful on arrival and the house was clean and warm. We arrived late in the evening after a long journey so was very welcoming stepping into a warm cottage.
They left us some milk and welsh cakes and we had everything we needed for the weekend.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional - We were met by our very friendly host who showed us around our warm, cosy and spacious 1 bed cottage which has a wood burner for cold days. There is an enclosed rear garden for our dogs. Sauna available. Welcome pack and coffee machine provided. Do book the afternoon tea or bbq in the nordic hut - its magical. Nothing was too much trouble for Alison and Steve who were always happy to help if required. Good base for exploring Pembrokeshire. Nothing to dislike.
- Helen (10/5): Our new favourite place to stay - It had everything you need for a holiday
It was clean and comfortable
The view is stunning
The hosts are amazing 🥰🥰 The only thing is that as a chunky person I had trouble with the shower but there is a bath that is lovely
- Cordelia (10/5): Cosy clean and relaxing - Felt very cosy the minute we got there, everything is there for you Cannot fault it
- Peter (9/5): Lovely cottage in a great location. - The location was great and really dog friendly with a large enclose garden. There was plenty of room in the cottage and it was very well-equipped with everything you needed. Nettie and Mr Dudley, the resident donkeys, were an added bonus.
- David (10/5): Great week, sorry to leave. - Peaceful location within easy reach of beaches and hill walks. Nothing.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location with the Presili Hills and Pembrokeshire costal path on your door step.
Fantastic hosts who made sure all your needs were met.
- Jane (10/5): Quite and peaceful fantastic hosts. - Lovely little cottage with own garden, fantastic for the dog
- Jolanta (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caroline (10/5): Amazing place very friendly hosts beautiful cottage definetly reccommended - Location amazing beautiful cottage and settings
- Fydi1979 (10/5): Wonderful cottage and lovely hosts - The rural location is stunning and very peaceful and the cottage (we stayed in the one bedroom y Beudy) is charming and cosy. We didn't use the log burner but did use the sauna (exclusive use to this cottage). The cottage and land is dog friendly with a secure garden and further garden/field that is secure for dogs to be off lead too. The two resident donkeys are added treat!
The hosts are wonderful, very friendly and helpful. We received a lovely welcome pack with homemade cake we ordered arrival meals for the first night (lasagne and veg lasagne) which were delicious and well worth the £7.50 per meal. There's nothing we didn't like! All round great place!
- Sian (10/5): excellent facilities, clean, comfortable. helpful hosts - excellent facilities, clean, comfortable. helpful hosts
- Elle (10/5): Exceptional - The location
Alison and Steve were helpful and friendly
The house was very clean
The log burner
The kitchen had lots of different utensils in it
A welcome basket with delicious cake, egg and fresh local milk
The sauna in the bedroom Nothing!
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was perfect
Location was great
Hosts were awesome Nothing
- Shirley (8/5): The stay was only short but very comfortable and clean the place was well equipment with everything - It was self catering but very comfortable The location for us was not what we thought but that was our fault we should have done more research but accommodation was very good.
- Wayne (10/5): Great value for money and peaceful location - spotlessly clean, home from home facilities, very well equipped and so peaceful with beautiful views. sofas in lounge were bit uncomfortable and seen better days.
- Herve (10/5): we had a lovely time we felt very welcomed and felt like a home from home - secluded and waking up to the spectacular views every morning nothing apart from the Wi-Fi connection for the children it kept dropping and was very unstable for the kids but it didn’t bother us as adults
- Dee (10/5): A special, homely place to come home to on a dark evening after exploring the surrounding areas. - The location was excellent for us to explore the coast from Fishguard to Aberystwyth over 3 days. glorious outlook from the living areas on the first floor. Safe garden to be able to let our little dog out, even when dark.
So many thoughtful touches made us really feel welcome, from the doggy treats and towel at the entrance to the delicious cake and fresh eggs and milk in the kitchen. It was Halloween time and apart from the attractive decor touches, a self carved pumpkin with lights at the front door. Can't think of a thing.
- Picton (10/5): Exceptional -
