• Rafael (8/5): Regular. Si es verdad, que todo el personal es muy atento. - El poder usar las instalaciones del Dom Joao II, y la cercanía a la playa. La limpieza, no se cuida mucho, y el colchón, se nota viejo. En general las instalaciones necesitan una mejora.

Também tivemos de tomar banho de água fria porque o termoaculador estava mal regulado. O grupo Pestana já não tem a qualidade que tinha, infelizmente.

My room was a good size, fully equipped, and impeccably clean. The housekeeping maintained high standards throughout my visit. This place offers great value for money, making it an ideal base for a few days. I’ll definitely be booking again for next year and highly recommend it to others!

A experiência não correspondeu às expectativas criadas pelas fotografias. O hotel precisa claramente de remodelação, pois tudo parece bastante degradado. Inicialmente deram-nos um quarto no rés-do-chão e foi impossível dormir devido ao barulho; depois de reclamarmos, mudaram-nos para um quarto no 10.º andar. No Booking está indicado “vista para o jardim”, mas na receção disseram-nos que isso significa apenas vista para a terra. Tendo em conta o preço dos quartos, esperávamos melhores condições: a banheira estava a descascar e a casa de banho tinha algum cheiro a esgoto.

• Edward (9/5): A very warm welcome - Location and view from balcony (10th floor). Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff and manager. We had a problem with our shower that was fixed very promptly. Indoor pool closed due to storm damage. Out of the control of the management obviously, but still disappointing. Guests could use the indoor pool at the neighbouring Pestana hotel, but it was very crowded and not as nice. Also, I think there should be a hairdryer in each room so you don't have to ask at reception. We got one eventually, but had to wait four days as not enough to go round.

Um hotel do grupo Pestana não ter secador de cabelo disponível no quarto é inadmissível. Alguns funcionários com uma frieza incrível quando perguntamos se teriam um secador para disponibilizar.

• majesaga73 (6/5): Ñ - La amabilidad de los recepcionistas. Han cambiado la política de limpieza. En cuatro días no se pasaron ni una vez, no hay juego de toallas para cada persona. Las sábanas de una de las camas estaban llena de pelos (muchos). La piscina cubierta no estaba en funcionamiento, debéis ir a otro hotel cercano.

La chica de recepcion muy amable nos pidió disculpas y nos cambió de habitación a una con vistas al mar. Olía a cerrado y bueno.... Cuando nos fuimos a duchar nos quedamos con la alcachofa de la ducha en la mano y tampoco había gel de baño para ducharnos. Una muy mala experiencia, aparte ayer me cargaron y me devolvieron otra vez la cantidad del cobro de la habitación.

• IRIS (4/5): Buenas vistas y ambiente muy relajado - Las vistas y la cercanía a la playa Aparcamiento grande y gratis Muy lejos del centro, nada de vida por la noche, demasiado tranquilo. La limpieza fatal, iban a las 4 de la tarde a limpiar, le comento a la chica de la recepción y me dice que no hay otra opción de ir a otra hora y le digo que si es así prefiero que no vayan, me dicen que tomarán nota, al día siguiente otra vez a las 4 de tarde. Imposible echarse una siesta en todas las vacaciones entre los ruidos de la gente en los pasillos y la chica de la limpieza. Menaje de cocina muy insuficiente, ni lavavajillas, ni estropajo, tijeras …. Nada En la piscina permiten reservar sitios con toallas en las tumbonas, personas que las pone nada más abrir la piscina y luego ni aparecen y los demás huéspedes que van se tienen que sentar en sillas de bares porque están reservadas con toallas vacías, se le comenta al chico responsable de la piscina y no hace ni caso

Ремонт устаревший, но не критично. Большой балкон. Бассейн в этом же здании, бассейн на улице совсем рядом. Городок маленький, но чистый, тихий и приятный. Персонал замечательный ! Молодой мужчина на ресепшене помогал со всеми вопросами , отдельное ему спасибо! Девушки из обслуживающего персонала улыбчивые и добрые - умнички ! 1. Кровати ОЧЕНЬ жесткие!!! 2. Периодически пахло из ванной. 3. Мебель для улицы пластиковая, думаю при таком ветре на 10 этаже можно заменить на более тяжелую. 4. Видели одного таракана 5. Сковородка ужасная, надо заменить однозначно. 6. Не хватает сушилки для купальников 7. На балконе пошарпанные перила, хорошо бы исправить , чтобы не порезаться нечаянно.

• Simone (7/5): Boa localização e limpeza, mas a piscina aquecida não funciona adequadamente e há falhas de manutenção. - Fica realmente próximo à praia! No contexto geral, o alojamento é bom. Estava tudo limpo, o ambiente é silencioso e o apartamento oferece excelentes vistas. No entanto, no inverno, a única atração do hotel é a piscina anunciada como “aquecida”, que infelizmente não corresponde à realidade. Apesar de os termómetros indicarem cerca de 29 °C, a água estava fria e o espaço da piscina carece de melhor isolamento térmico e de um sistema de aquecimento ambiente mais eficiente. O frio no local torna o uso da piscina desconfortável e pouco adequado para esta época do ano. Além disso, o hotel carece de outras opções de lazer, como uma sala de jogos ou espaço recreativo, o que limita ainda mais a experiência no inverno. Relativamente ao alojamento, o primeiro quarto em que ficámos estava em boas condições, porém o ar condicionado apresentava um ruído extremamente incómodo. Após comunicarmos o problema à equipa, foi-nos sugerida a mudança para outro quarto, o que acabou por resolver a situação. Ainda assim, é desagradável perceber que o hotel já tem conhecimento deste problema e que os hóspedes apenas são realocados quando reclamam. Uma manutenção preventiva evitaria este tipo de transtorno e melhoraria significativamente a experiência dos clientes.

• Ricardo (7/5): boa relação qualidade/ preço - Gostei da vista para o mar do quarto, apesar de não ter escolhido "vista mar". Quartos ligeiramente antiquados, mas a relação preço/ qualidade é boa! Poderiam modernizar mais os quartos e a colocação de nova caixilharia iria ajudar no isolamento acustico e térmico. A piscina precisa de manutenção e a temperatura da água estava fria (em dezembro) tornando-se desagradavel. Sugeri aumentarem a temperatura da água na recepção.... não demonstraram interesse em o fazer.

Quando fizemos o check-in, o quarto tinha um cheiro intenso, algo semelhante a tabaco, não parecia que tinha havido serviço de limpeza anteriormente. Não havia disponível sequer um secador de cabelo. O serviço de limpeza entrou pelo quarto adentro, sem sequer bater à porta antes. Após se aperceber que ainda nos encontravamos no quarto, pediu desculpa e disse regressar mais tarde, contudo tal não aconteceu, não tendo sido o quarto limpo em nenhum dos dias que permanecemos alojadas.
• Filipa (5/5): - Localização, simpatia dos funcionários e ar condicionado Quando chegamos ao alojamento a porta do quarto tinha um buraco perto da maçaneta, o quarto tinha um odor forte, os lençóis estavam sujos, o chão estava em más condições e na casa de banho a porta estava a descascar e a banheira estava também em más condições e com aspeto sujo. Quando falamos com a receção de imediato nos indicaram que estavam reticentes em colocar nos naquele quarto por considerarem que o mesmo não estava em condições de receber hóspedes. Deram inicialmente um quarto que ficava no sétimo piso, mas quando foi a altura ficamos com um quarto no quinto piso, já bem melhor que o primeiro mas sem a vista jardim como tínhamos pago. O quarto ainda que melhor, tinha o chão igualmente lascado, o colchão já não estava bom (tinha muitos altos e baixos e que provocou desconforto durante as noites). A porta da casa de banho estava a descascar, a banheira estava também em más condições. Tínhamos apenas água quente para muito pouco tempo o que em tempo de frio não foi positivo. O botão do autoclismo não estava em condições. O quarto foi limpo apenas uma vez, aliás a cama foi apenas feita uma vez tendo o chão não tendo sido limpo. Não estamos satisfeitos com a estadia, as fotografias não correspondem ao quarto e podiam ter nos informado que o quarto que inicialmente íamos ficar não estava em condições e se preferíamos ficar num superior (cujo preço pagaríamos).

• Rute Pina (3/5): Publicações enganosas Não recomendável - Os recepcionistas são todos de um excelente profissionalismo. Muito atenciosos e sempre prestáveis para ajudar em todas as situações ruins. A Inês e o Iuri são estranhamente profissionais. A limpeza é horrível,desde cheiro a comida dos hóspedes anteriores . Houve vários dias que não limparam porque não tinham funcionários suficientes. Barulho de obras às 8:30h. Comando da TV que não funciona. Lixo não era retirado todos os dias.

Foi nos vendido uma noite com meia pensão e tivemos que nos debater para nos servirem algo a comer sendo que não podemos chamar jantar. Para além da situação humilhante o jantar não correspondeu ao que pagamos.

• Else (8/5): Perfect location for the beach! - Easy location perfect for the beach and plenty of parking. Helpful staff, clean room and a fabulous view of the beach. You need a car or taxi for tor the town centre if you have mobility issues as it is a little walk away. The emergency exit light above the room door as it was on all night so not ideal for sleeping! The kitchen shutters needed fixing so were taped off so you couldn't open for a further beach view.

• Forster (5/5): - For Hotel read Hostel which has no redeeming features This hotel is boxing well above it's weight. A very tired hotel with decor more suiting a hostel. We booked a twin room and had email confirmation from the hotel itself.....only to find it was a double. The staff were extremely dismissive with a comment of "what do you want me to do about it" Thankfully the double split to make 2 singles but we had to rearrange the room to make it possible. The bathroom was dated with a ceiling spotlight hanging out from its hole on bare wires. Our own fault but Breakfast is not included in the €100 + per night but is also served at their sister hotel some distance away making it more a block of just rooms.. Thankfully we only wanted a room to sleep in as we were at the MotoGP but would hate to think wevhad to spend any time in this expensive, dated hotel manned by staff who clearly don't care. Stay well clear
• Jo-Anne (10/5): - The Sea View room was fabulous. The rooms are spacious with balcony. Bathroom big. Beds comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Old style bath taps etc, awkward to change to shower use.

• collette (8/5): - location was close to beach, there's a boardwalk running past the hotel along the beach. Hotel pool was nice. Room had fridge, iron, no hairdryer so had to get from reception. Bed was ok nothing special and for a week would have become uncomfortable. Balcony was small and was brick so sat down didn't offer any view unless you were tall. All in all it wasn't bad but the hotel is a bit tenement blockish in appearance, maybe the villas / apartments were nicer. We didn't use the indoor pool but it looked nice. About a 30 min walk into Alvor centre. Balcony small, hairdryer had to be got for reception, wish I'd known before showering. Bed not massively comfortable but that's personal preference. Room small but adequate for a couple of days.
• Firmino (6/5): Aceitável - Relação preço/qualidade/localização muito boa. Falta de luz no apartamento e muito barulho durante a noite. Deviam chamar a atenção a outros hóspedes.

• Ondřej (9/5): Beautiful place, nothing to complain about - Comfortable hotel by a beautiful beach and natural wonders. We had a great view of the sea and rocks. Right at the entrance to the hotel there is a supermarket with a good selection of food and drinks. The hotel has its own parking lot, where there was plenty of space. There is a large swimming pool between the hotel and the beach, most of the time there were usually quite a few people there. Sometimes we swam there alone and there were usually free sunbeds even during the day. We did not try the indoor pool in the hotel. The restaurant was about 300 meters away and the food was excellent and there was a wide choice. The menu changed from evening to evening. It's not the hotel's fault, but remember it's the Atlantic Ocean. The whole stay in August was so windy that it was impossible to sit on the balcony in the evening and for part of the stay it was impossible to go into the sea. Fortunately the hotel has a great pool.

• Matevž (8/5): - The complex is large and offers many apartments. The room was nice and comfortable, and it was great to have the option to cook dinner. The bathrooms could use a bit of renovation, but everything was clean and functional. The indoor pool is small but good enough for a quick swim. Parking is available in the hotel’s gated area with ramps.
