Bed was comfy and the extras are worth noting - free bottle of wine when we arrived and a free gift from the host when we were leaving. They also provide a free service to/from the airport which is definitely worth it as this about €35 each trip!! Such good value for money. The yogurt/oats/fruit for breakfast is lovely, as was the pastries. Breakfast is served in your room every morning - eggs, toast, pastries, yogurt you couldn’t want anything more. Kostas was such a lovely host. Nothing, it was great!

• Andrianna (10/5): Mediterranean elegance with traditional hospitality in a tranquil, convenient location. - From the hosts’ warm hospitality to the quiet location, Merovigliosso far exceeded my expectations. Our room was upgraded to an available entry- and first-floor apartment, which fit my daughter and me nicely (we are on the petite side). Our apartment had a delightful mini kitchenette, A/C, sitting bank, table, and traditional single bed, beautifully tiled shower and soaking tub, and separate toilet. Up an adorable flight of marble steps was the master bedroom with queen sized bed, television, A/C unit, another wardrobe, lots of lighting options (including nifty under bed lighting, and then… the best feature… a tiny arched door leading out to a private terrace! I was so enamored my eyes teared up with emotion at the experience of stepping outside and taking in the view! The entire apartment was so tastefully decorated in clean white and sophisticated gray and aqua tones, blending traditional design with current tastes. It was exactly the right size for a small family of four, a parent and one or two kids, a couple with one child, or just a couple on their own, especially if they are taller/larger. I could not have designed it better myself! It is tremendous value for money. We received several thoughtful gifts on the house: bottle of local white wine, tiny bottle of ouzo and fresh snacks (for enjoying along with watching the sunset), and a little Santorini tote bag upon departure. Freshly prepared breakfasts were generous and varied, brought to you on a tray in a manner reminiscent of a simpler, more considerate time. The hosts were calm, kind, and conscientious. Kostas and Freddie were unobtrusive yet remained friendly and available to assist with any queries or logistical needs. I’ve heard it said that “Greeks do hospitality like no one else on earth”, and this hotel and staff epitomize that sentiment! Not a single thing. It seemed like a dream!

Se preocuparon mucho por nosotros desde el primer día, ya que era nuestra luna de miel ! con decoracon y regalos incluido, así que estamos totalmente agradecidos! recomiento este lugar totalmente para parejas que quieren descansar y estar en un lugar tranquilo. Kostas, Freddy and the sweet lady who brought us breakfasts and cleaned took excellent care of us. Kostas gave us a wonderful free upgrade, the apartment was amazing with the best view. The daily clean, the breakfasts, the hot tub looking out at the caldera, the welcome bottle of local wine, the recommendations… just perfect. If I want to nitpick, the only thing I can think of is that we asked for vegetarian breakfasts and got bacon and ham sandwiches. But it really didn’t matter as everything else was delicious.

Situé en plein coeur du magnifique village de Imerovigli que je recommande totalement pour loger si vous venez à Santorin, tous les principaux endroits à visiter de l'île sont accessibles en moins de 20min en voiture. Nous avons été surclassés pendant 4 nuits dans une superbe suite avec un jacuzzi intérieur et extérieur avec vue sur la Mer, c'était magnifique. Notre logement réservé initialement (studio) était aussi très bien, très fonctionnel. Nous étions avec notre bébé de 15 mois, et tout était très bien équipé (lit bébé, plaque de cuisson, frigo, micro-ondes, petite terrasse...). Le petit déjeuner est servi en chambre, très copieux. Que dire du personnel... tout simplement adorable! Nous n'avions jamais rencontré de gens aussi gentils et bieveillants. Tout le monde a fait en sorte que nous passions le plus beau séjour possible. • eva (8/5): Santorini ideal - Bien ubicado. Parada de bus a 5 min. Restaurantes y supermercados justo al lado. Desayuno muy bueno y abundante. Terraza estupenda para poder ver el sunset tan deseado en Santorini. Baño con amè nítides, Albornoz y zapatillas. Botella de vino de regalo. Cafetera nespresso. Te dejan botella de agua cada dia porque en las Islas el agua del grifo no se puede beber. Muy amables y nos dieron un regalito de despedida. La habitacion es como un dúplex con lo que hay escaleras Estrechas para subir al dormitorio y terraza. Justo al lado y alrededores del hotel es muy complicado aparcar. Nosotros dejábamos el coche en un parking gratuito a 10 minutos caminando. Sería interesante que el horario del desayuno se pudiera adelantar a antes de las 8:30 porque si se quiere visitar Oia o Fira antes de la llegada de los cruceristas, hay que llegar allí antes de las 9.

• Greco (10/5): Accoglienza impeccabile e posizione perfetta a Santorini! - Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana a settembre in questa splendida struttura, coccolati da Kostas e dal suo staff. La loro attenzione ci ha fatto sentire davvero speciali e ha reso la vacanza indimenticabile. Kostas ci ha dato tanti consigli utili su bus, noleggio e locali della zona e, appena arrivati, ci ha accolti offrendoci la colazione: un gesto che dice tutto sulla sua ospitalità. 🤩 La posizione è comoda e strategica: in 20 minuti a piedi si raggiunge Fira con una passeggiata panoramica mozzafiato lungo la caldera. Proprio di fronte alla struttura si può ammirare un primo scorcio suggestivo del tramonto, senza dover andare lontano. La zona è tranquilla ma ben servita, con minimarket, farmacia, ristoranti e diverse opzioni per il noleggio di un mezzo. La struttura offre spazi curati, una piccola piscina per rilassarsi e camere complete di ogni comfort: bagno moderno e spazioso, letto ampio e confortevole, oltre a una zona cucina ben attrezzata. La colazione, varia e abbondante (menzione speciale per lo yogurt greco!!!), veniva servita puntualmente in camera. Un gesto che abbiamo apprezzato molto è stato trovarla pronta anche il giorno della partenza, nonostante l’orario del nostro volo. Pulizia della camera impeccabile ogni giorno, servizio navetta incluso dall’aeroporto, e una costante attenzione ai dettagli: tutto ha superato le nostre aspettative. Un soggiorno che ricorderemo per sempre 🙏🏻❤️

• Nancy (9/5): Highly recommend this hotel - We had a fantastic stay at this Merovigliosso! The location Imerovigli was perfect, not crowded like Fira or Oia. Kosta was absolutely amazing - super friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. He provided us with great information about the area and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. When we decided to rent a car, he even offered a free lift to the airport! We were also pleasantly surprised when we were offered a complimentary upgrade from our budget studio to an apartment with a beautiful view, much appreciated. The hotel itself was spotless, and the breakfast was always served on time. We appreciated the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Highly recommend this hotel and especially Kosta's service! One thing to note is that the pool was a bit smaller than we expected, but it was clean and pleasant for a quick dip. It's perfect if you're not looking to lounge around for hours, but still want to freshen up. Overall, it was a great addition to our stay, even if it wasn't the largest pool we've ever seen. Still, the pros far outweighed the cons, and we'd definitely stay here again!

Very clean room, though not big but cozy.. Tasty and warm breakfast, good coffee machine, full kitchen amenities. We enjoyed having breakfast and looking at the sunset from the balcony. The service was truly outstanding — the staff were professional, very friendly, and always willing to help. Everything was spotlessly clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and very diverse, with a great selection of fresh salads and tasty fruit salads. One of the highlights was the balcony with breathtaking and amazing views of the islands. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

Breakfast is cooked fresh each day and brought to us to eat on our private terrace. Airport pickup was smooth, the sunset views from the terrace room were stunning. The property is small so the pool feels like a private pool. Property is conveniently located next to a mini market, many great restaurants in a 3-5 minute walk, the bus stop (5 minute walk away), and the Fira - Oia trail entrance is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Terrace/balcony view does overlook the street before the ocean, not directly over the ocean like other properties in Santorini may.

He is a gentleman who was so helpful to us. Kostas collected us from the airport and dropped us into Fira for departure to our next island. We would highly recommend this apartment for your stay. The place is very clean and harmonious, with a very friendly housekeeper. They provide bottles of water every day and anything else you might need. Airport transfer is available both on arrival and departure. The pool is beautiful and very clean. Great and healthy breakfast! I loved everything! Nothing bad to say.

Everything was spotless (including the pool), and the personal touches from the team made us feel extremely welcome. We had wine in the room, a lovely sunset nibbles tray, and great varied room service breakfasts. They are considerate in a way that seems to nearly have vanished as of late. You can rediscover profound hospitality here. We enjoyed the Merovigliosso for its peace, pristine cleanliness, and its mixture of stylish modern decor combined with adorable charm typical of Santorini homes. My 18 y.o. daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights and each evening when we returned we felt so comfortable and cared for, with little snacks and drinks on offer. We absolutely delighted in the apartment’s private terrace area. It felt absolutely enchanting to watch the sun set from this tranquil perch. We’ve stayed in places all around Greece including islands and we know that it can get noisy with mopeds and megaphone announcements, however there is NONE of that here. It is so peaceful! Thank you Kosta, Freddie, and staff. Please don’t change a thing about this charming place.

• Davina (10/5): A fantastic place to stay in the best place on the island. So many great restaurants within a short walk and the most am - We absolutely loved our stay at Merovigliosso. From the stunning views, the fantastic location right in the centre of Imerovigli, (in our view the best place to stay on the island), to the friendly welcoming staff who collected us from the airport and dropped us back there at the end of our holiday. Nothing! The pool is small but still great for a quick dip.

• J8213JInicholass (10/5): Far exceeded our expectations! - Our stay at Merovigliosso was excellent. It was our first holiday with our 6 month old baby & this was the perfect choice of accommodation! Kostos picked us up and dropped us off from the airport, put a baby crib in the room & even gave our little boy a ball to play with.. all without asking. To say we were impressed would be an understatement. He also gave us lots of reccomendations for our weeks stay! Service was impeccable! The Appartment facilities surprised us, the breakfast was lovely & they kept us topped up with coffee / tea / jam / butter / water. There was a little microwave / toastie maker / fridge / cutlery etc which saved us a fortune on breakfast and lunch. What amazing value for money, topped off by the heated communal plunge pool which was welcome after a day of walking! I would highly recommend merovigliosso to anyone!

• jayneg169 (10/5): We will be back! Best views in Santorini - The staff is SO FRIENDLY _ especially the housekeeper. The place is very clean and even in the off season there are plenty of options to eat nearby. We stayed on the lower level and it was fabulous — we were not in our room very much. The best spot on the entire island to watch the sunset is from across the street or on an upper balcony.

• DonnaK335 (10/5): Stay here if at all possible - This is the place to stay on Santorini. First of all the staff, Kostas, Freddie and the housekeeper (I wish I gotten her name), made our stay so comfortable. They were welcoming and attentive to any of our needs. That included him immediately responding to an electrical problem after we returned from a late dinner. The suite we had was an upgrade they offered instead of the one I had booked. Also they were gracious in allowing us to rebook after our trip in May had gotten interrupted. The room had 2 bathrooms and 3 showers , 2 bedrooms with large beds, kitchen, dining area, living room, 3 patio areas! It had an indoor hot tub and a larger on one of the decks. The location was perfect for walking to many restaurants in town. We loved sitting on one of the patios with the amazing, unobstructed view. It was fun watching passersby who were walking the “trail” from Fira to Oia. It is a trek I do not recommend because it is arduous, especially in the heat, even in mid September. We walked a little ways on it one evening. Parts were very rough large volcanic cobblestone that was hard to traverse with sturdy shoes. Most people we saw were not properly attired for such a hike. Back to the wonderful room where we spent most of our time on Santorini. They brought us breakfast each morning. They were delicious meals that included several courses. It was so much food, that we would also make a lunch from the parts we couldn’t finish each morning. I hope you are lucky and stay here. Imerovigli is not as touristy as Fira or Oia and it is conveniently located. We drove to Oia for dinner one night. It was insane with sooooo many tourists. I would not enjoy staying there at all.

• Elena (4/5): Bad customer service, nice place - The location, the breakfast service, the received recommendations, the free room upgrade. We also arrived before the check-in time and they let us use they bathroom, shower, phone charger... Even if our stay was ok. We cannot forget the bad customer service received beforehand. We wanted to change our travel plans and cancel or shorten one day this stay. I missed the free cancellation deadline FOR A FEW MINUTES because I live in a different timezone (+1h) and didn't know the local time was applied. I begged for their understanding and they decline my request. I also tried to contact them by Whatsapp and they ignored me. It made me feel really really bad. We almost lost 600€. After our first night of stay we also requested a dairy free breakfast for one of us two, and it didn't come (the maid told us she hadn't been informed by the manager). The following day two dairy free breakfasts came instead of just one. We also were told just upon arrival that they offer free airport transfers for stays over 3 nights, but that was too late for us and had paid for another transfer option.

• Enrica (10/5): Exceptional - All the requirements were satisfied: transfer from/to the airport, sunset view, a good Swimmingpool, breakfast, a beautiful apartment and the position near to Fira, but not so crowded. All the staff is very gentle. They asked every day if we wanted the room to be cleaned. The apartments are the same as in the picture. The room with the balcony has a white curtain, that is not taking the room fresh from the sun or from the light in the morning, but air conditioning works fine. Apart from that everything was great.

• Adriana (10/5): Amazing stay ! - Our stay was simply great ! We were hosted by Freddy, who was very kind and helpfull. The apartment 4 was extremely clean, comfortable, excedded our expectations. Nice decor, we´ve felt home in Greece ! Merovigliosso is also very well located, near to minimarkets, good restaurants and lounges in Imerovigli. We look forward to come back to Santorini and stay in Merovigliosso Apartments again. I believe that the Merovigliosso staff could inform and/or orient better the customers about how the parking works, prior to arrival. For those like us who rented a car. It was not a big issue but could be in the high season.

Such a great spot at the top of the cliff. The pool is great for cooling off and our little balcony a perfect shady spot to relax in the afternoon. Cannot recommend this place enough. Nothing. I couldn’t fault it.

• Phillip (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay as we were upgraded to the Santorini Mansions owned and operated by the same owners of Merovigliosso. The view from our balcony was exceptional where we enjoyed our provided breakfast each day. The accommodation was very spacious, comfortable, clean and with everything you need. We especially liked this area of Santorini as it is not as busy as Fira and Oia but with plenty of restaurants close by.
• O'flaherty (9/5): Lovely property situated at the edge of Imerovigli with wonderful views of the caldera and sunset. - The room was exactly as shown on the website. There was both a shower and a large tiled jacuzzi tub and lots of hot water!! There was a private balcony off the second level bedroom with a great view of the fabulous sunset. There was also a designated shaded seating area at the front door to the unit as well as common sunny area with loungers and umbrellas around the pool. Breakfast was provided daily and had a great selection of eggs, meat, pastries, yoghurt & fresh orange juice. It was busy and sometimes noisy around the property, but with windows and doors closed, it was very quiet inside.

Located in Imerovigli (Much more quiet and peaceful compared to Fira or Oia). It is a perfect location for peace & quiet but still have spectacular views. Kostas and his team was very helpful and kind. They advised us and showed us all the important things we need to know about Santorini and gave us recommendations for everything e.g. where to eat, best taxi, bus timetable and much more. We was lucky that part of our stay was upgraded and given the most amazing villa in Santorini, this was very kind of Kostas to do. - Breakfast was very good and filling. They change it everyday so you will always have something new and exciting. They also catered for our needs (e.g. no pork). - Free pick up and drop off at airport using their free shuttle service (saves a lot of money) and it was very much appreciated. - Excellent customer service. Whenever we had a question, it would get resolved. - Cleaning lady did an amazing job with daily housekeeping as well. Jacuzzi and property was cleaned daily. - Easy access to Fira (20-25mins by walking). Overall, our stay at this hotel was perfect. When booking and visiting somewhere new you will always worry if you made the right decision. I would highly recommend selecting this host. 10/10 would recommend. Nothing. Everything was perfect.
