Armando (6/5): Our stay was for the most part pleasant but would not return due to the stairs. - Very clean property. Most staff were courteous and helpful. Not informed that there were 24 steps to walk to unit which was difficult for my wife and myself. We are both elderly.

Gorgeous dipping pool in the suite. Comfortable bed. Would like a chair in the room. There is not a place to sit and the outdoor furniture is community. Room is gorgeous but not functional. The lighting is pretty but the bathroom is dark. Description made the room look like it had an ocean view- it does not. We would ask more questions before booking again.

Alondra (7/5): Mixed opinion. - Cleanliness. Big size. Great amenities A/C did not work repeatedly and they were not fast enough fixing it. Given the high price we paid, I found it very disappointing. It was 33C and very humid in Vallarte. I could have stayed in a 4x cheaper room in the city and probably would have had a perfectly functioning A/C.

Stephan (8/5): Very good - the staff throughout the property was very accommodating and friendly. The food was beautifully presented and tasty. Silvia with Maxwell went above and beyond the Maxwell concierge service was good at recommending ways to get items we wanted but didn't offer to arrange for them. I also wanted a massage with a male masseuse in the spa and the concierge told me to check through the lobby. I thought the 2. businesses were aligned so I wouldn't need to do that. I never got a massage. I also wanted to get a bottle of alcohol and they told me to use Rappi.... I'm not Mexican so it would have been nice for the concierge to arrange. Housekeeping was very friendly as well.
Hardcastle (10/5): Exceptional - It was so beautiful to look out at the top floor infinity pool and then the ocean AND THEN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SUNSET! And the little patio outside of our room was so calming and inviting. The food was delicious too! The staff was great

It was incredible. We loved that there was a gym and spa and a rooftop pool that was accessible until 2 am. The massage offered in the spa was less than ideal. We could have just gotten unlucky with the masseuse that day.

JuGirard (2/5): Terrible management - We were put in a room without A/C. The maintenance team knew about it and was waiting for an inspection from the supplier, but they still put us in that room. They then offered to switch us to an other room, which was a condo located 5 minutes away. However, that process took over 1h30 even though we told them we had a tour booked at 5:30pm. We checked in as early as possible (4pm) to make sure we would have time to get to our tour, but because of this blunder, we ended up missing our 500$ tour. The second room in an condo tower was great, but very noisy because of street traffic. Knowingly booking people in a room without A/C and then, offer to move them away to a condominium resort, making them wait around for over 1h30 in the process is NOT the luxury experience they advertise. Between the fees for the room and the lost tour, this was over expensive and stressful. We never had an answer from management even after providing this feedback upon check out.

The amenities at Indah are outstanding—you truly get the luxury of hotel service while enjoying the comfort and privacy of an apartment. The views are breathtaking, the common areas are beautifully maintained, and the food is delicious. The apartment itself is stunning, and we did enjoy our 2-night stay. However, for the price we paid, the cleanliness wasn't up to the standard we expected. There were items left in the washer and dryer, and they were even left running, as if expecting us to handle it. It felt like the cleaning was rushed, possibly between reservations. While it didn’t significantly affect our short stay, a bit more attention to detail would have made the experience even better.

S1966CGcarolynk (10/5): Most beautiful hotel in PV with the best pools - Wow what an absolutely incredible experience. I wish we could have stayed here our entire trip. The furnishings were gorgeous. The house was spacious. The views were spectacular, but my favorite thing hands down were the two pools (one that was shallow enough for my son to stand in). Oh and the food and drinks were delicious! Servers were prompt!! Epic start to our vacation. What a dream!!! Book it!!

Absolutely gorgeous lobby, gym, two infinity pools, and the lounge chairs were great! The room was enormous! The beds were so soft and comfortable! The staff were beyond helpful! I loved that they would text with us to make sure things were going well. Also I have to note that the staff all went above and beyond to help my friend who lost her wallet in a cab. Because of their work we were able to get it back! Quite the miracle! They were helping and checking in even after we had left the property! I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the staff! So grateful we were there when it happened! My only real complaint was there wasn’t enough lighting in the bathroom to do your makeup. Also the location is a little bit of a hike to get to Zona Romántica.

Molly (8/5): Great place overall, but our room was a little bit of a disappointment. - The views were amazing and the service was lovely. It's located in a quieter part of town which is nice, and it's a short walk to a small, cute beach. The only window in our room looked out to a common space so we had to have the drapes drawn the whole time (no natural light!). The pool was a little cool for this time of year and they might have been a little low on staff for the holidays.

scottwB939OS (6/5): Trouble in Paradise - First the great things about this property- the staff are very welcoming and friendly, it is very clean and it is beautifully situated on a hill outside of old town overlooking the ocean. It has a very relaxed vibe with two infinity pools. The rooms are also beautifully appointed with lots of neutrals, stone, tile and wood. It also has one of the best, cleanest and largest gyms I’ve seen in years at a hotel/condo with a great selection of free weights, machines and cardio equipment. It’s also not a hotel but a condominium residence with several “hotel like rooms.” So if you run into problems as I did you often are left to your own devices without the services of a traditional hotel like a “front desk.” Case in point, management asked me to change my room a day after checking in. I happily agreed as I was offered a better room, but I had to wait several hours to move after being told to pack-up. Then as soon as i moved i discovered the room safe didn’t work - you have to text someone for help and wait for a response. Total wait time for safe fix 2 hours. Then I came back to the room -which had 4 doors that locked only to discover that the key didn’t work on the door to the bathroom and dressing room. So I texted and waited, and waited, and waited - then I went to the security guard downstairs and explained the situation. Total wait time to get into my room and the lock fixed- 3 hours. My original texts for help from the “virtual concierge” went unanswered. Once again the staff were super helpful and friendly, but I feel I missed a complete day of my vacation trouble shooting problems with the room change that would have been quickly addressed had I stayed in a traditional hotel.

Diana, Xavier, Katia, Gustavo, Lucy, Paula, Christian….I’m so sorry if I’ve forgotten anyone. These beautiful and wonderful people, many of them “patas saladas” became our friends over a period of only 6 days. We will be rebooking this same location again very soon. Leaving was terrible. Only because we were sad to say “hasta la próxima vez”.

They weee excellent. GREAT customer service. The AC inside the room was not good the last two days. The second to last day our room did not get cleaned nor did we get fresh towels. Loved the room the only thing I would add would be a long mirror in the room so you could fully see your outfit.
VSHNP (2/5): They cancel your reservation on their own without letting you know! - Unreliable and unprofessional. They cancel your reservation on their own without letting you know! Be careful. I've booked this place on August 14th on their DIRECT website and I received a cancellation email (saying that "I" cancelled) the next day. I called the property immediately and they said they cancelled my reservation because the price was incorrect (I happened to be lucky to have seen my email, otherwise, I'm in PV with no accommodation because they weren't planning to let me know), although my vacation plan is right the next week. After a few calls and me suggesting if there is any other way, they offered me a unit in their new building that is still under construction with a huge downgrade in views, rooms and amenities which I didn't take. Last resort they offered was I wait another day to see if any other cancellations come up which ended up not happening so I had to let this go instead of wasting more time, but rather looking for a new place in a week when all the prices have already gone up. I'm a frequent traveler who's been to 35 countries yet this such irresponsible cancellation (on their own DIRECT booking site) and unprofessional services afterwards were very new and scary experience. Conclusion: no matter what pricing they give you on their website, DO NOT TRUST because they will cancel if they can find somebody who can pay more than you.

Had to walk up 2 flights of stairs with my walker… Was very difficult and inconvenient. They tried to give us a different location for 800$ US more but I turned it down. I felt it was your fault for not knowing the premises you were renting.

Bobby (6/5): mediocre - location is close by the city and nice! upon renting the place, it was not disclosed to us that the rooftop pool and some of the other amenities were not available due to remodeling. there were so many construction workers daily and loud noise were being made. There was a siren or an alarm that was going off at random for duration of two days( our last two days ). we didn’t get any asleep. the windows are not double and out side noise was coming in. loud partying neighbors kept us up all night. there was a disgusting lost and found box in one of the cabinets In the living room with a used c..k ring with pubic hair on it. that should have been a given to be thrown out. over all bad experience

deeanntoni (10/5): Puerto Vallarta’s best kept secret! - The only hotel/ resort I have ever felt satisfied with. The hotel resort was a surprise for me and I was absolutely blown away. From the room to the Infiniti pools to the breakfast oh my goodness. Everything was phenomenal. I truly think the photos don’t even do it justice. I stayed in the couples suite with the private plunge pool which was also temperature controlled. Reception staff was very friendly & general staff as well. Maxwell at Indah is Puerto Vallartas best kept secret and I can’t wait to stay here again!

DELRUSSO (2/5): GOOD LUCK!! - Im sure this place is great but try booking on their website, What was stated as $2300 for 5 night magically turned into 2 separate rooms and $7900. Obviously i cancelled and went over to my friends at Expedia thinking hey could steer me in the right direction. ok found a room thats doable 2300,5 nights fantastic, Done, 12 hours later realize from the photos that it's next to the pool. Cant cancel ? are you kidding? Expedia no help. I wont be staying here but have booked another room. Ive tried calling these people a number of times with no answer. They constantly send me notifications that their concierge wants me to respond with text about my upcoming stay. Yet when you call that number it dosent ring thru.. TO HELL WITH THIS PLACE!!!! All the reviews so far are good but the customer service suck!

ADMaze (6/5): Nice place but not luxury - The property is aesthetically nice but we had many problems with our suite. The concierge staff were very nice and attentive and I appreciated it. However, some issues were able to be fixed but others were not. It is the attention to details that separates a nice place from a luxury place and for that reason I could not recommend this place as a luxury location while in Puerto Vallarta. Our fee for the weekend was over $1500USD for one of the Casa Pedro suites and upon check-in our room was covered in dust, there were brown stains on the beds, and hair in the tub. We had to ask for the room to actually be cleaned because it had not been for some time. Throughout our stay there was a foul sewer smell coming from the toilet that at times became unbearable (the staffs way of “fixing this” was pour strong smelling cleaning solution down the drains that lessened the smell for a few hours). I have stayed at many luxury hotels/resorts and have never had these issues, because of this it was not worth the price and I could not recommend it. When we visit Puerto Vallarta in the future I will not be returning to this location.

We had everything we needed here: guaranteed sunny weather, incredible staff and concierge service who were able to help us with dining and activity reservations, local attractive advice, etc. (and did so with incredibly fast response times!), beautiful, clean, and spacious accommodations, awesome food in the hotel, two beautiful pools to lounge by/in, and more. Maxwell Residences was such a peaceful, quiet oasis and we're so glad we got to stay there :) -- can't emphasize all that enough!

jimbrown1015 (10/5): Beautiful stay near Zona Romantica! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maxwell at Indah. We stayed in Casa Pedro 4. It’s slightly off the main building but you have access to everything the place has to offer! The upper and lower pools are beautiful. The view is absolutely amazing! Javier was our bartender both days and was a genuine friendly skilled bartender! The prices are very fair. Damares helped us checking in and out and she was a pleasure. This place is located just close enough to Zona Romantica, but much in a slightly quiter area.

The Maxwell was such an amazing spot to both relax and have a good time! The staff were all extremely accommodating and Elliott was an incredible host! Renee (10/5): Gorgeous place, amazing views, fantastic amenities, close to everything! - Loved the 2 infinity pools especially the rooftop pool with amazing views. We also loved that there were 2 restaurants onsite, one at each pool. The 3rd floor restaurant offers breakfast and lunch and the rooftop restaurant offers lunch and dinner plus a full bar. Both were reasonably priced and had plenty of options. The location to the closest beach is a short but steep walk down a cobblestone street from the lobby. At the end of the street there are beautiful, rocky beaches just to the south that are mostly private and fun to explore. Or to the north you can walk along the rocky coast to Los Muertos Beach and the Romantic Zone. It’s a little tricky in some spots, stairs and rocks, but we enjoyed the exercise and it’s not very far. Maybe 10 minutes. You can also take a short taxi or Uber ride. Uber is less expensive. Our unit (12B) was gorgeous, very spacious, tastefully decorated, well stocked, very clean and had amazing views from the balcony. Beds and furniture were comfortable and we loved that we could play our own music throughout the unit using an app. We also appreciated that the water purification and filtration system allowed us to drink the water from the refrigerator and provided clean ice! We didn’t do a lot of cooking in the unit just because the onsite restaurant was so convenient and reasonable and there are so many wonderful restaurants close by in town. The concierge does offer a private chef option but we preferred to dine out. The concierge can make reservations for you, but I found it just as easy to use my OpenTable app which listed all of the upscale restaurants we wanted to go to. One downside was that the phone in our unit didn’t work to order room service. Apparently all of the phones were “down” during our stay. But for us this wasn’t a huge deal. Maxwell Residences offers concierge texting and a website to assist you with excursions, in room services, anything you might need. Nothing. It was wonderful!

suzannet156 (8/5): Secluded oasis close to the Zona Romantica - My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We arrived a couple of hours before check-in time and our room wasn't ready yet, so we hung out at the rooftop bar and had a few drinks. Our room (Casa Pedro #4) ended up being ready exactly at check-in time. The room was clean, modern, and fairly basic. They provide full-sized shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel inside the shower which was really nice. They also had full-sized soap and body lotion by the sink. A few things which could be improved with the room - it would be nice if they provided kleenex either in the main room or bathroom, if they had separate controls for the lamps on each side of the bed so that both lamps didn't have to be completely on or completely off, and lastly the lightbulb in the shower needed to warm up for about five minutes during which time it would flash and create a disco effect in the bathroom. The hotel pools were great. We only used the rooftop pool, but the third floor pool looked really nice as well. The rooftop pool has a swim up bar. The staff also make rounds in the lounger area to take food/drink orders. We never had any food at the rooftop restaurant, but we did have breakfast at the third floor restaurant which was adequate. We mostly walked to and from the central area of town, although it's cheap to get a taxi/uber into the main area (less than $5). You can walk along the beach, but you need to be physically fit as there are stairs and some rocky areas on an incline. When it was dark we stuck to walking on the street. There is a small sidewalk by the main road. The whole 'dedicated concierge' thing that the hotel advertises on their website is a bit misleading. We found the concierge to be just like a normal hotel front desk - they don't seek you out to see if you need anything, but they are available if you need them and will promptly respond to any request. We are pretty self sufficient so we didn't need much (just some extra bottles of water as we chose not to have our room serviced during our stay). We would stay at Maxwell Residences at Indah again.
C. (8/5): Great new memories were created. - My room was big and smelled real good. The bed was comfortable. Everything was good. There was no room service. I wanted like a bowl of fruit and some drinks and I couldn't get them to my room. Also, there should be a way to make the room lighting able to dim. But that's just being picky.
