- Jonathan (10/5): Stayed for travel. Great location. Nice and clean - Great location Nothing
- dorene (10/5): - Location, safety and staff
- Ferreira (9/5): -
- Basil (9/5): It was great! - Room and staff Construction starts early in the morning
- Brenda (9/5): -
- Moran (7/5): Reasonably priced and comfortable. - Location was reasonable given the stops that would be made.
- Basil (10/5): It was great! - Well maintained TV channels and controls
- Yanira (1/5): Not worth the stay, pay that money into a bigger brand hotel. - No like It was dirty, there was bed bugs, lots of outside noise, too expensive for what you paid for.
- Takahiko (5/5): -
- Víctor (6/5): -
- Gutierrez (7/5): -
- Flowers (1/5): Wasn’t allowed to enter and they didn’t give me my money back - They didn’t tell me that we had to be older than 21 and wouldn’t give me my money back for not allowing me to stay. Wasn’t able to stay even though I spent $200
- 237vica (6/5): Great Location, Fair Hotel - Hotel is located very close to the Rose Bowl and Old Town Pasadena, which was great for convenience and proximity to points of interest. The hotel appears to be a work in progress with noisy construction activities taking place throughout the day. The pool was closed and the free breakfast no longer was available (permanent or not is unknown). The staff seemed new and somewhat unfamiliar with working with the reservations system. All in all, we had a good stay but will probably pass on returning until they complete their updates and bring their staff up to speed.
- Louie (10/5): -
- Michelle (4/5): Would not recommend it at this point - Good location, walkable distance to everything It was under construction just changed owners. No hot shower , sofa was missing cushions and it was not clean.
- janet (8/5): -
- Ciera (3/5): Bad - Location Pool was closed without notice. Breakfast was closed without notice. We booked to use the pool and have the connivence of not needing to search for breakfast in the morning with kids. At check-in we were informed neither was open. Fridge had mold in it. Everything was kind of clean but not fully. No parking due to construction. Paid $211 for one night for no amenities and a dirty room without any notice. Kids were mad. Was not a good trip. Overpaid. Was not worth it.
- frank (7/5): -
- Nancy (7/5): Okay stay. - Location No attention to details in the room.
- ms_cate_comments (6/5): ok fine I guess - Price was good, first room was not. Stinky, couldn't access window because the blinds were duct-taped and wouldn't move. Second room was better, though wad(s) of hair on bathroom floor/door, and toiletries were empty so unusable, and only one, not full roll of toilet paper. Front desk staff attentiveness and kindness was definitely hit or miss and, horrors, they were "out of coffee" at the free breakfast -- and when they said out of coffee, they meant for days. (Surely it doesn't help me that it was "on order" when it was unavailable in that moment, that morning.) Cleaning crew (the lady at the room, the guy doing exterior) were both very nice. I dunno, it was OK -- but it definitely could have been better!!

- Logan (3/5): Weird staff. Poorly trained. Didnt know how to do their jobs - Good location. Decent bedding. The mini fridge was open and leaking water when i checked in. There were towels just laid out around it to soak up water. Could also hear the other rooms theough the wall as if there were no walls. Checkout was a nightmare as they couldnt find my payment history from when I checked in somehow and had to call a manager for twenty minutes. Dont know why I even bothered letting them know I was checking out.
- Iwona (10/5): Excellent location - Comfy beds, great breakfast
- Amber (5/5): For $150 per night, it should have been better than that. - The staff was nice, the room was clean. The sink didn’t drain at all. The bathroom faucet was broken, there was foil on it and it took like 10 minutes to jiggle the knob to turn the shower on.
- janet (10/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): totally met my needs and I would stay again in similar circumstances - Needed a comfortable bed for the night because I had an early work day in the area and greentree inn really fit the bill! I got a full 9 hours of sleep which I don't even get at home most of the time - very clean and comfortable for the price. the lights in the hallways outside are flickering and kind of spooky tbh but I didn't spend much time there so it was sort of irrelevant
- Amanda (7/5): It was better than Motel 6. - Location, free parking Our first room had mold in the shower and the room smelled weird. I asked for a new room and the shower was clean and everything was much better. There was no breakfast room but they did have grab and go coffee & limited food in the lobby.
- Artak (1/5): -
- Joshua (1/5): Was not worth it. - Its location was close to the hospital where my mother was in for brain surgery. There was mold in the bathroom, the appliances in the main room were leaking water, tv was cutting in n out, and lights weren’t working in the led bathroom mirror. Did not end up the night due to these conditions. No service and still charged a service fee.
- Chris (10/5): -
- Nasser (10/5): i loves this place and clean hotel - nice work very nice
- Vincent (6/5): - Very well placed centralized location to Pasadena N/A
- Martha C (9/5): Large, simple room, good value for money. - The GreenTree is a short pleasant walk to Old Town. Room surprisingly big, and clean. Biggest fridge I've seen in a hotel room, even including a little freezer that can accommodate two to four frozen Trader Joe's dinners (or Whole Foods, which is just a block away). I liked being able to get raisin bran, apples, or bagels (or popcorn!) in the lobby whenever I wanted. The evening front desk manager was very friendly and helpful, easily bumping the rating to a 9 all by himself. Some of the old plastic finishes were worn and blistered. Though the room was very quiet, when the wind hit just right it made an odd whistling noise--no biggie! Took a moment to realize the shower mechanism was incorporated into the bathtub faucet. As far as I could tell, local broadcast channels were not included on the TV package, so I watched the Olympics on my laptop.
- Sabrina (1/5): Do not book with booking.com - Review is not in regards to hotel but instead booking.com. They canceled my reservation and still charged me. Booking.com is not a reliable website. Booking.com canceled my stay then proceeded to charge me.
- Alfonso (9/5): Great location, great staff! Overall a pleasant experience - Amazing staff! Shout out to Patrick he was very accommodating and went above and beyond! Blinds were slashed and anyone was able to see from the outside
- Chris (10/5): -

- Kirk (6/5): Good Value in a pinch - The location was really good and quiet. The room was comfortable with a working shower, bathroom and TV, plus a mini fridge and iron board. They did have a small pool and parking free. For the price, it was safe and pretty clean. The free breakfast was cold cereal and bagels, but coffee was good. No chairs to sit and TV not on. Its right in the lobby, so could be better. The staff was helpful, but no place to sit around pool either. Check in a little tight, but parking down below.
- Larry (8/5): - Close to Whole Foods & Trader Joe's & close to the light rail station. Ideal lodge for Rose Parade Very wet weekend
- Fred (10/5): Awesome - Staff, Location. Room did have a peculiar odor.
- Kornelia (10/5): - It is close to Pasadena Convention Center and to the metro station. The room has a built-in hair dryer.
- Henry (8/5): -
- Jason (9/5): -
- Dixie (7/5): The important things I need in a hotel were provided.Very friendly staff who were easy to work with. - The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was marvelous. I could have used a blanket the first night but there was none in the room. However, when I asked for one the next day, it was provided. The sink had no stopper so I lost an earring but when I asked the next day maintenance fixed the sink. There was no restaurant or hot breakfast, apparently a fire had destroyed the restaurant, so breakfast was just cold bagels and cereal. But there was a toaster, coffee was provided all day, and I managed. I liked that they offered popcorn. And the location is great. The notice that housekeeping came only every three days is ridiculous. I do not want to live for three days with wet towels, over flowing waste baskets and no change of sheets. But when I asked for fresh towels, they were provided without a problem. I got the impression the staff were all new, and they did their best to do a good job but the systems were still uncertain.

- johnlaquinta2026 (10/5): GreenTree Pasadena Inn - Excellent hotel, every time, extremely friendly and responsive staff make the experience seamless.
The rooms are simple, but perfectly prepared, parking is easy, simple but solid breakfast, excellent front office staff.,
- Ortega villalobos (10/5): - Comodidad
- DeAnn (6/5): Room and location great. Service lacking. - When breakfast was served upstairs it was fine. When they moved it downstairs it was not adequate. At times they had no coffee. No one was reallyanagonge the breakfast area It stated in the room that they would not clean for three days. Our reservation was for five days. I had to go and get towels myself and they NEVER cleaned the room. I even went and asked them twice. It was gross. So I left towels outside my door and went and got towels twice. They said they were short staffed but it was ridiculous.
- Valerie (5/5): When we walked in it had a dirty mop smell and wasn’t swept - Bed was comfortable Rooms were old and dirty
- Stacy (5/5): It was old and we knew that but no attempt to update. Batteries dead in TV remote. - It was close to where where we needed to be. Heater didn’t work. Elevators not accessible from parking garage. Unable to heat the room. Washer and dryer non functional.
- Marjene (6/5): Mostly good but needed some work! - Close to where the Rose parade started! Mold in bathtub caulk. Main Light in room flashed on and off so couldn’t use.
- Andrea (10/5): Great stay! We will be back! - We had a nice overnight stay at the Green Tree! The staff was excellent and the room was spacious and tidy! Parking was a little crowded.
- Jim (8/5): -
- Evelyn (10/5): -
- Yanis (10/5): -
- Dr. Gonzalo (6/5): Good location, cheap however you get what you be pay for… - Good location, free parking, easy check in/out Breakfast is really bad, room dirty ( found a pair of socks in the nightstand), bed very soft
- Ellen (7/5): - Location was excellent for our needs. Sheets & towels were clean. Lots of parking. Accomodated is with a handicap room. Having a free breakfast was nice. The floors were dirty. They said it was the cleaner that rubbed off the finish on the floors and said they would mop it. Did not seem it was mopped because it was still dirty after we came back in the evening.
The A/C was set in Centigrade, not Fahrenheit. Was too cold so we raised the temp but it reset after a few hours so had to raise temp again in the middle of the night.
Mirror lights had burnt out LED lights so was not very bright in bathroom.
- Shaw (7/5): -
- Pamela (1/5): - Comfortable bed Urine smell, shoddy chipped furniture, mold in shower grout, fell off step out of door- no hand railing. Worst of all, breakfast room not closed off- only half windows at bottom, tops all around open to cold winter air- was freezing! One of the worst hotels ever- not worth $150/night!!!! Will try not to use Booking com again!!!!! Should do better screening!
- Nima (7/5): Good and uneventful - The location and the corresponding price were big selling points for me. The room had a strong, unpleasant cleaning solution odor for the first day, require some time to become accustom to it.
- Gerardo (10/5): -
- Steven (7/5): Great spot for Pasadena and surrounds - Location was great, beds were good Not a fan of having a bathroom sink outside of bathroom and in main room
- Jose (7/5): -
- marshall (10/5): -
- April (4/5): Good location - Location Bed, water pressure, quality of the room, poor repairs, and poor paint.
- Michael (7/5): -
- Brian (5/5): It was okay for the price, just wished the ambience was nicer - It was within a reasonable walking distance from Anime Pasadena The facility was quite creepy with the lights flickering and we were put into a corner room that was next to a room full of trash. The main light in the room was not working either.
- Richard (6/5): - The location was great The floor was dirty, not enough cleaning of the rooms
- Justine (6/5): Could be worse, Pasadena is expensive - Convenient location, close to Pasadena old town without being right in the thick of traffic
Walk to grocery store
Breakfast I couldn’t get shower to work, but was in too much of a hurry to call mgmt, so just sponge bathed
- Jillian (4/5): Great location, disappointing room quality. - I liked the second story continental breakfast and the staff was lovely. The room smelled strongly of cleaning solution but the floor was not clean. Our feet and socks were black after just one nights stay. The shade pull down was filthy and ragged, the furniture was broken and delaminated, the walls were beyond scuffed and showed signs of possible water damage.
- Spencer (8/5): - Breakfast was great. The overall cleanliness could be better. Carpet needs to be replaced.
- Reyes (5/5): -
- mandy (10/5): Over all a nice hotel and pool.book in advance to keep the costs down - Very nice place to stay near the Rose bowl. Everyone had to wait for a 2pm check in when some of the rooms were available. The hotel was full due to the Oasis concert near by. This meant at 2pm everyone was queuing outside in the blazing heat waiting to check in.
- Maxim Todorov (8/5): -
- marjoriec192 (10/5): Conveniently located and a pleasant place to stay - This is our second time staying at the Pasadena Green Tree. It's an excellent price for the area. It's clean and management is friendly and helpful. Easy parking, as well.
- stephen (5/5): -
- carl (1/5): Cancelled my reservation last minute and kept my money - Nothing They cancelled my booking at the last minute and still charged me-I booked this property on the day I bought my tickets to see oasis in concert so months in advance. I asked for early check in and they said turn up and see. Early checkin was not available but they stored my cases and said return at 3pm. At 3pm there was a queue out of the door to check in so I went to eat with my family. We returned just after four and were kept waiting for 20 minutes before being told our room was no longer available had been cancelled and we would have to find somewhere else. To make matters worse they then informed booking that I had can yelled the room and as it was booked on a no cancellation rate I have not got my money back on top of the extra I had to pay for another hotel. They have since not replied to any emails. They have basically stolen my money. Do not book this place. Customer service is non existent
- MATT (7/5): Decent location and welcoming staff - served it’s purpose for a one night stay for a gig at the Rosebowl - Location Pretty basic and strong smell of smoke in the room
- Raquel (1/5): They’re bad at compensating for their guests when things go wrong in the room - Our room started leaking from the bathroom. They told me my room would be compensated. I never got my money back.
- Delettrez (7/5): -
