The location is very easy to find and close to many food options. Adi (7/5): - היינו שתי חברות, טיילנו כל היום בעיר ובסוף היום חברתי התקלחה במשך 5 דקות. ולי לא היו מים! היא לא התקלחה באופן מוגזם וזה ממש לא בסדר בעיניי שמקום אירוח בעיר אין לו מערכת טובה של חימום מים. זה מאוד בסיסי מיטה נוחה ומים חמים. ברגע שאין את זה כל חווית האירוח נופלת בעיניי.

Adrian (8/5): - Excellent for short stay for 1/2 people. Perfect location with restaurants aplenty very close. As are 2 mini markets. Our apartment was in a very quiet area 200m uphill from check-in. The property was well stocked with all the kitchen facilities needed. WiFi excellent and my wife appreciated the hair dryer! The staircase up to our apartment is uncomfortably steep and unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Jean-Luc B66 (8/5): Déçus par rapport à l'habitude mais personnel toujours agréable et équipement correct. - Toujours un bon accueil et un appartement confortable et bien équipé Habituellement nous avions l'habitude de loger dans les appartements historiques sur l'immeuble des bureaux ou la même rue.Cette fois ci , notre logement était excentré,avec beaucoup d'escaliers pour s'y rendre dans une rue plus éloignée .Dautre part, pour accéder à l'appartement depuis la porte d'entrée, il y avait des escaliers type échelle. Enfin , avec le pub et le jardin d'enfants devant cela fut régulièrement bruyant. Nous avons ete déçu et avons trouvé que le Rapport qualité/ prix était en baisse par rapport à ce que nous connaissions.

Für zwei Personen war es zwar völlig ausreichend, jedoch war das Apartment (für einen längeren Aufenthalt) ziemlich klein und dunkel insbesondere in der Küche, falls man kochen möchte.

We waren met zijn 3-en, de slaapbank in de woonkamer was wel comfortabel maar er bleef wel erg weinig ruimte over

Terry (9/5): Would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation and would happily stay again. - Everything! Location particularly, facilities, size and friendly, helpful staff. There was a slight glitch with the lock but the staff were extremely helpful and on the spot immediately. The problem was sorted enough for us but was being attended to for a more permanent fix as we left. Nothing!

Anna (8/5): Good location and overall very pleasant apartment! - Fantastic location in Alfama, nice a quiet. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen for cooking. A slight musty smell so had to air out by opening the windows - suspect due to it being an old building and having an interior bathroom.

The apartment itself was meticulously maintained and featured air conditioning. Additionally, the inclusion of a compact washing machine proved to be a valuable amenity. A clothes drying rack is not available.
Isa (6/5): O alojamento é bom mas não se situa no local anunciado - O apartamento é todo renovado e com ótimas condições. O anfitrião é simpático. A localização não corresponde ao anunciado, é a localização da receção mas depois o alojamento fica mais acima e é preciso passar por ruas estreitas e várias escadas. Viajei sozinha e tinha que sair de casa às 5.30h, procurei uma localização que me sentisse totalmente segura para andar na rua a essa hora e jamais teria marcado este alojamento se soubesse a sua localização real. Quem for para turismo e não tenha que sair de noite, a zona é boa.

Murray (9/5): Delightful place to stay in a stunning (and very friendly) city. - The location in the Alfama district was very atmospheric. In fact we were in a quiet square, with a little children's playground nearby and one of the best music spots (Madonna visited apparently) a short walk from our front door. We were near several pleasing restaurants and the key tram stops were a reasonable walk away. Small shops nearby satisfied our breakfast needs. The 'hosts' told us about a great Fado dinner spot which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. The area is quite steep and so walking back to the apartment was good for the constitution. There is no way around that so it is not really a negative but if climbing steep stairs is not your thing this may not be the best location for you. I managed even with a new hip and creaky knees - but it took will power!
