You could hear noise from the hallway in the flat surprisingly well but as people were not really in the hallway a lot it was not a big issue.

BAUDOUX (10/5): Un appart hôtel merveilleux, en plein coeur du vieux quartier de Montréal. - Bonjour, nous souhaitons vous faire savoir que nous avons adoré notre séjour dans votre établissement. Bravo, nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de l'équipe du Lobby, en particulier Elisa et Enzo qui dès notre arrivée nous ont expliqué toutes les astuces de fonctionnement de l'établissement (code d'entrée, code de la boite devant chaque appartement...). Nous avons eu par exemple un petit souci d'éclairage en raison d'une ampoule défaillante dans une chambre, nous avons laissé un message et en rien de temps, ils nous ont installé des lampes d'appoint. Bravo pour leur réactivité et leur professionnalisme. Par ailleurs, il nous autorisé à laisser nos bagages dans l'établissement jusqu'à 19 Heures en raison de l'heure tardive de notre vol de retour. L'appartement est spacieux, la literie confortable et l'emplacement merveilleux, au coeur du vieux quartier de Montréal, à proximité de tous les restaurants, "les dépanneurs" et les magasins de souvenirs et à deux pas du métro "Place d'Armes", avec une ambiance festive le soir arrivé. Encore merci, notre séjour à Montréal restera un grand souvenir grâce à ces excellentes conditions d'hébergement.

valentin (1/5): Décevant. - Il était bien situé et très spacieux Nous n’y sommes pas resté, nous avons réservé ailleurs, directement après avoir mis les pieds dedans il était hors de question d’y rester, c’était poussiéreux, il y avait des ongles dans la salle de bain au sol, une taie d’oreiller en pleins milieux de la pièce au sol, le personnel injoignable, une fois que j’ai réussi à avoir qq on m’a raccroché au nez sans explication, très difficile à accéder à notre chambre quand nous sommes arrivés après un long vol nous avons dû attendre 1h dans la rue avant d’avoir les consignes pour accéder à notre chambre. Je ne sais pas si nous pouvons être remboursé, mais honnêtement j’aimerais avoir un dédommagement pour cette vraie mauvaise surprise.

Being so close to Notre-Dame was incredible; you step outside and you’re right there. The self check-in process was very convenient and easy to follow. The apartment was very spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. Everything was comfortable and well thought out. The value for money exceeded expectations - it was very affordable for such a high-quality stay. We were traveling with a small child, and he loved it as well - especially the bed! He enjoyed it so much that now he wants the same one at home. He truly felt at home and didn’t want to leave. Nothing significant - everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Lorena (1/5): Terrible, I think we need to be compensated - Location We're giving it 1 star for the following reasons: The name of the place is "The Merrill boutique hotel," but it's not a hotel; it's more like an Airbnb. They don't clean daily as you would in a hotel. I had to ask during our stay, and they gave us a complimentary cleaning, which we appreciated, but we rented here thinking it was a hotel. The place is across from a large construction site, and we weren't notified in advance. We weren't prepared. The construction noise started at 6:00 AM every day and stopped around 5:00 PM, making it very difficult to rest (we've shared photos and videos below). The construction made it almost impossible to get to the "hotel" because the street was closed on several occasions. We had very, very little privacy. The construction workers could easily see into the apartment, and since there were two of us women, it was quite worrying even with the curtains closed. The "curtains" are super thin, the room has one glass wall and all the light filters in, so if the construction noise doesn't wake you up, the sun definitely will. The TV remote was covered in corrosion and never worked; we could never watch TV. The pillows hurt your neck, there's no shelf in the bathroom, so you have to put your shampoo, soap, etc., on the floor. Finally, there's no microwave, so if you wanted to reheat anything, it wouldn't be possible. We're including all this information so that future tenants aren't caught off guard and are better prepared.

The apartment was spacious and very clean, beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped (bring your own food). Bathroom clean and functional, everything there, soaps and shampoos. The building is a bit acoustic but this was not a problem. The location cannot be beat, in the heart of the Old City, just steps from the Basilica Notre Dame, The Museum of Illusion, entry to the Underground City and many other interesting places. Odeur d'égout dans l'appartement pendant 3-4 jours jusqu'à ce que quelqu'un viennent régler partiellement/temporairement le problème. Laveuse avec de l'eau dans le fond non fonctionnelle. Beaucoup de petit problèmes avec l'appartement. On n'a pas eu l'appartement tel que réservé, mais plutôt un logement similaire mais moins bien situé dans l'immeuble, sans vue. Internet lent. Télé sans télécommande. On entend le bruit dans le corridor comme si la porte était ouverte.

Linsey (4/5): - L’emplacement est super bien situé. Il y a pas de sécurité, ou d'employée sur les lieux, les gens font ce qu'ils veulent. Il y avais des personnes qui fumais toute la nuit et ça nous a gardé réveillé. Aussi à 2 reprises nous avons trouvé des itinérants caché dans les airs communes, les installations à l'intérieur du loft sont toutes défectueuses ou sur le point de brisé

Frédérick (8/5): Un bâtiment patrimonial malmené et mal décoré. - De beaux murs de brique, lit confortable, de vrais verres de vin (oui, des coupes de vin mesdames et messieurs). Les photos ne représentent pas le logement attribué : contrairement aux photos, je n’avais pas de grandes fenêtres de façade en arche. Et c’était sombre. Deux petites fenêtres sur une ruelle. Ce fut compliqué recevoir le code de l’entrée en bas. J’ai perdu 40 minutes à chercher pour rien, mais ils m’ont envoyé par texto lorsque je me suis plaint On ne marche pas nus pieds dans l’appartement.

Genevieve (5/5): je ne le conseille à personne - le quartier J'ai été chargé 125$ de plus que le prix demandé, il n'y avait AUCUN rouleau de papier de toilette dans cette chambre et aucun moyen de s'en procurer, nous avons du en acheter. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas et l'ascenseur non plus. Le propriétaire n'a rien fait pour nous aider.

Dimple (1/5): BAD. - Nothing that I like, it was just as its expected. Not special I had a very disappointing stay at Le Merill Montreal. There was no running water the entire morning, and the staff was unhelpful and dismissive when I asked for assistance or a refund. Parking was also a major hassle with no reliable long-term options nearby, making the whole experience stressful and unpleasant.

Antoine (9/5): J'y retournerais sans hésiter avec mes enfants. - L'appartement 201 est super bien situé! Directement dans le Vieux-Montréal, juste à côté de la basilique Notre-Dame. Nous nous sommes stationné pour 25$ au 500 Place-d'Armes, dans un garage sous-terrain - c'est juste à côté. Les reviews sur Google m'ont fait peur mais c'était très propre, confortable, pas bruyant. Il y avait suffisamment de serviettes, de savon, de papier de toilette et aucun insecte (ça fait bizarre mais j'avais lu le contraire sur Google). Les lits étaient très confortables et ce n'était pas bruyant. Les 2 robinets (sdb et cuisine) étaient mal fixés mais fonctionnaient super bien. Odeurs "ordinaires" dans le corridor mais pas dans l'appartement.

Ana Paula (6/5): limpa e confortável. - Localização muito boa, quarto limpo e confortável. Somente no dia que cheguei no hotel eu recebi por email as informações sobre acesso ao quarto. Tive problemas com isso na entrada, pois não havia nenhum funcionário no local para receber. E não foi me enviado com antecedencia a informaçao de que o acesso ao hotal e ao quarto era por codigo. O aparelho da entrada dava erro ao digitar o codigo, tive que pedir ajuda na rua, passei quase 50 min, no frio de - 12, a noite, para descobrir como entrava no predio. Somente após ligar para o hotel me enviaram as informações para saber como entrava no hotel e no quarto.
Lauren (3/5): Should have booked somewhere else. - It’s not a hotel. There were nothing but sheets on the bed. When I flagged this to the property nothing was done. A lot is falling apart like the trim is all messed up, broken TV. There is no mid stay tidy of your room like a hotel. It’s like a bad Airbnb Location
