- Julie (9/5): Amazing location and a great night sleep! - Great location, comfortable beds, nice bedding. Amazing breakfast Bathroom has seen better days, grubby in places unfortunately. Towels didn’t smell fresh.
- Steven (3/5): Inadequate stay - Location was good I was in room that reminded me of harry potters bedroom under the stairs. It was tiny, cold and damp. The doors and walls are so thin, you can hear everyone in the rooms next door to you or in the corridor
- Schmidt Beduschi (8/5): - Localização . Minhas filhas gostaram também do café da manhã inglês.
- James (7/5): -
- David (8/5): -
- Cleverley (4/5): Expensive and out dated - Near to shops and restaurants I had long brown hair on my pillow and bed sheets. And no hot water for a shower. And in the morning I had a loud humming noise from the boilers in the morning.
- Akanbi (8/5): Not bad, good value for money - Had loads of options on where to eat
- Man Yee Maria (8/5): -
- Steve (9/5): -
- Michael (10/5): - Good Customer service.
Lovely room.
Good food.
Good Atmosphere
Great location etc
- TERSE (8/5): Fair hotel for the price. - Location was good but we didn’t try the breakfast. Our room was street level and quite noisy through the hours of 11:30 to 14:30.
Parking wasn’t easy as we weren’t able to enter at the front and there were no instructions from the hotel to go around the back.
- John Rees (10/5): -
- Neil (5/5): - good locaTION, check in quick, breakfast good, room adequate and clean hot water in bathroom basin but only tepid in the bath. Perhaps something wrong with the tap/pipes. light over bathroom basin not working.
- Summerhayes (7/5): Good value, well located hotel. - Unusual to be able to get a single (therefore, cheap) room when travelling alone. Clean, powerful shower. Decent, reasonably priced bar food. Pleasant staff Nothing really
- Guy (8/5): Great location, clean and friendly. Shall return, great value. - Great location, my room was perfect, excellent powerful shower,
Breakfast very good, interesting building full of history. Parking next door so very easy.
Shall return. Guy Perhaps lack of historical pictures. Hard to find faults
- Griffiths (10/5): Two night stay in Worcestet - Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room with great facilities. Excellent, delicious food in the restaurant and bar. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable in a very good location and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ye Olde Talbot.

- Andrew (9/5): - Location was spot on
Bed was comfy
Shower was good
Staff was very helpful Bath was bit small
- carl (7/5): Disappointed. - Location. Plug hole in bath was partially blocked and the bath would fill as I showered.
I was charged £75 for the room which I'd pre paid. The person I checked in with was quoted £75 but paid on arrival and was only charged £70. That was Mr Baz Andrew. I showed my annoyance at this to the person checking us in, but was ignored.
- Richard (9/5): -
- Darren (8/5): -
- Louise (8/5): Great central location - Lovely staff. Room was clean. Beds very comfortable. Room was a bit dated
- Ellie Austen (7/5): - Lovely bath. Liked the feel of the room. Good mini breakfast.
- Alison (6/5): - Great location. Good dinner in the bar. Pleasant staff. Noisy with creaking floors, banging doors, loud plumbing & traffic. Very warm room.
Breakfast disappointing - plenty of choice but cooked breakfast poor quality ingredients, no taste.
- John (9/5): - Everything. Close to WCCC. Excellent staff attitudes. Some noise ar night but did not go on to late
- Fiorita (7/5): Hotel complessivamente buono, come posizione, come camera e pulizia. - Tutto molto bene In realtà non ho trovato nulla che non mi è piaciuto
- Jean (9/5): Very good value - Lovely central position very clean in all areas
Restaurant had good menu
Breakfast was good value for money As it's a very old building it was very up and down on different levels with a couple of steps here and there staff have taken my suggestions on board about somengrabrails in these areas
- Sasha (9/5): -
- Lynn (8/5): Fine, for my requirements - Position in city, excellent A little ‘tired’.
- Keith (7/5): Good value and location - Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good Decoration in my room was a bit tatty in places, although clean. Saniflow in room was very noisy, water in Bath took ages to drainaway
- Lynne (10/5): Excellent value …good location - Everything was as it should be.
- Elizabeth (8/5): -
- mark (8/5): Good location that suited our visit to Worcester - Location was great.
- Karen (8/5): Exceptional value! Lovely old building and pub. - Really lovely old building and comfortable room. Exceptional for the price, right near centre of town. Very friendly staff too. Clean fluffy towels and tea facilities. Only flaw was room being stifling hot and can't open windows!
- Philip (5/5): - Good Bathroom tired and needs refurbishment
- Clifford (7/5): -
- Mohamed (10/5): -
- Liz (6/5): One night was ok but bedrooms too hot. - Location was good for our purposes. We are in the bar for lunch and it was good, and breakfast was great. As a value hotel it was dated but clean and comfortable, which is a positive . But we could not regulate the room temperature and it meant the bedroom was too hot. The windows open onto the main road which was noisy so unfortunately it meant we did not have a good sleep. Family member staying in another room which faced an internal courtyard was able to sleep with the window open with little disturbance.
- Wendy (8/5): Frequent visitor to a nice hotel in the heart of the city. - Centrally located in the city close to the Cathedral, restaurants and shops. Lovely choice of cooked breakfast and a small selection of continental pastries and cereal. Appreciated there is a separate room for our dog to join us for breakfast. Room was on the ground floor which was appreciated as we had an elderly dog in a buggy with us. Comfortable bed. Had to climb in the bath to shower which was a small challenge as I have arthritic knees. Paid car park conveniently close to the hotel (at time of review, £12 for 24 hours). Have used this hotel many times and will continue to return as it's good value for money in the heart of the city.
- Jonathan (7/5): Adequate - Not applicable Heating, hot watee
- Baker (7/5): -
- Alison (7/5): Comfortable and convenient location - Comfortable and convenient to the central part of Worcester.
The room was dated but clean and comfortable.

- winston (10/5): Perfect - The staff were very helpful and the location is very good. Local amenities with excellent pubs and restaurants. The NCP car park is next to the hotel and a good price for 24 hour parking. The food is good and good value. Nothing
- Paul (8/5): - Good location Bathroom facilities poor, shower rail broken.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- alan (8/5): -
- Simon (8/5): -
- Wood (8/5): - Friendly staff clean great location
- Barham (9/5): Great stay in Worcester - The location was great, lovely staff and very clean, nice room. Nice breakfast Double bed was small but very comfortable although the room was really hot for some reason even when the radiator was off.
- Jason (10/5): - Brilliant staff and beautuful breakfast, great selection
- Fiona (8/5): - Comfortable bed, staff were very helpful and friendly, room was a good size. It's a all a bit tired looking. The door into the bathroom wouldn't close as it was too big for the frame.
- Lisa (7/5): Cheap -you get what you pay for - Good location with basic but clean rooms. Very noisy - not the fault of the hotel but a problem nonetheless. Breakfast was poor
- Jo (8/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Wood (8/5): - Friendly staff clean great location
- rowley (8/5): -
- Robmack1963 (8/5): - Staff were exceptionally helpful and let me store my motorcycle in the secure loading area. I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like. The room like many others is a little dated but it was very clean and lots of hot water and decent heating.
- Chris (10/5): -
- bazzarjude (5/5): Needs updating - Comfortable room, Bathroom needs a revamp. Having stayed @ Ye Olde Talbot for many years. I really do think the Bathrooms on the ground floor need a thorough revamp and deep clean. I say ground floor as that is where I book my room.
- Michelle (3/5): Really dated and uncomfortable rooms - Lovely old building in the city centre Really dated rooms , mould all up the walls , doors boarded up. Dirty carpets , smelled damped and I couldn’t open the window as it was sealed shut .
So much condensation,I Could not wait to leave the room ..
Nice breakfast and friendly staff , but I won’t be staying again and advise no one else to till they up grade the rooms
- Caroline (8/5): Great value for money Hotel - The staff were great. Friendly, polite and professional. Food was lovely, very good breakfast with plenty of variety x Bathroom had only that day been painted and the smell was a bit annoying. Not the hotels fault what so ever but the noise out side was terrible with boy racers using the road like a race track and peoplescreaming and shouting. Just a thought if you need a quiet room.
- Tracy (3/5): No sleep at all - Staff were friendly when you actually saw them ,great location for the event we went to and food was good We were in room 20 right above the reception area and from 12.30 am straight through till 5.30 am we could here every ,laugh joke conversation and swearing every member of staff that came on to shift (and there were a few different ones )as if they were sat on the bed in our room with us . We managed 30 mins sleep at 5.30 am when the delivery guy rang the buzzer and yelled just bellow our window to gain staff attention. We've used this place for several times in the past 7 years and never had a bad time until last night.
- Ayoimde (8/5): Satisfactory price point..! - Location PRICE A bit too old and some rooms are dinghy
- Lynda (9/5): A very enjoyable stay. I’m glad we picked the Talbot. - Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was good and freshly cooked. Beds were comfy. Location great for a city visit, shopping and has beautiful old buildings including the cathedral of course. Got a bit muddled with how the shower worked, bathroom was clean but needs an update.
- alan (7/5): - Easy check in. Great location
- Edit Krisztina (9/5): Lovely stay in the heart of the town - Lovely room and accommodation / pub, loved the Tudor feel, right in the heart of city. The staff was also very friendly. Breakfast was delicious as well, hot and cold options.

Staff very very pleasant polite and helpful Carpets were dowdy .needs an uplift .and refresh
- Lorna (9/5): -
- Hannah (10/5): - The room was nice and the staff were lovely Nothing
- Andrea (8/5): Excellent venue for Cheltenham races - A little dated but clean and great value for money Staff appeared abrupt and not cheerful

- Andrew (8/5): -
- Locke (9/5): -
- Steven (8/5): -
- Simon (10/5): -
- Julie (10/5): - Very welcoming and felt safe and secure. Ideal location to Worcester Cathedral event Room was a little dark and could do with a little deeper clean but it is an older building so understandable
- Williams (7/5): -
- Donna (9/5): - Second stay in as many months as the location is perfect for our visits! Great access to restaurants and entertainment. Clean rooms, comfy beds great value for money. Last time I noted that the sound proofing (outside noise) wasn't great so I brought ear plugs this time and had no issues at all ☺️ We did have a particularly noisy neighbour (snoring) who decided to have an early night though so soundproofing definitely could be still be improved. Couldn't fault anything else though.
- Barrie (7/5): Nice staff, small room but great value - They let me check in early, which was brilliant Tiny room and bed
- James Ceramics (10/5): - Was very suitable The location close to the Train 🚂 station and close to the center
