Guest Reviews
- Rehanna (1/5): Filthy - The apples at breakfast were fresh You could barely understand the staff member when checking in. . The room was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, the tub had hair all over the outside edge, the toilet base had urine drips running down, the mirror had toothpaste on it, very outdated. We left the next morning and checked into a different Lodge for our week stay.
- John (7/5): -
- Teresa (5/5): For what I paid to stay there, was not worth the price. - It was dirty. The walls in the bathroom need to be cleaned.
- Nelson (1/5): - I never stayed in the room because the website or app said it was full but still charged me and never refunded me, we stayed somewhere else this night . Would still appreciate my refund I never stayed in the room because the website or app said it was full but still charged me and never refunded me, we stayed somewhere else this night . Would still appreciate my refund
- Shayna (7/5): Decent and comfortable for the price. - It was a decent sleep and the beds were comfy enough. There did appear to be mold on the top ceiling of the bathroom over the shower. The pool and hot tub facilities are not usable but they promote they have it.
- Floyd (8/5): - Coffee was not good
- Jason (3/5): Could've been better for the price. - Location Bugs, price
- Bill (10/5): -
- Sara (6/5): It's ok! - Parking for car Small space for breakfast. Far for city center. Difficult check in.
- Rachel (5/5): - The location was easy to get in & out of and the size of the room was unexpectedly large. The gentlemen at check in was unfriendly.
- Jude (1/5): Disappointing - Misrepresentation on Booking.com
Swimming pool and hot tub haven’t worked in 3 years per desk clerk
Communal microwave was filthy, had not been cleaned in a very long time.
Was charged $20 fee over the Booking.com charge of $200.
Everything needed a thorough cleaning., handrails were sticky, wallpaper stained with mystery reddish stains.
.
Also was quoted via phone that our room would have 3 beds for $200. They don’t have rooms with 3 beds.
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Heath (10/5): - Very reasonably priced. Room very clean. Too bad the pool was ruined.
- Paolo (10/5): -
- Marie (7/5): Convenient place to stay, but overpriced - Breakfast was good. I felt it was way to over priced
- Jane (9/5): Friendly helpful staff room inviting after long drive and walking Arches - Good variety to satisfy me
- linda (6/5): needs updated and staff that can communicate and make welcoming appo - close to Arches and downtown never saw staff but check in and barely spoke English; a joke for breakfast - stale; had to put chairs down in dining area to eat;
- Alisha (5/5): - The air conditioner worked and they had a room when I needed one. The price
- luis (1/5): At least I was able to get a couple of hours of sleep and a shower - I felt as if I stayed at an abandoned hotel The condition of everything and staff
- Halliday (4/5): - This is a very old motel, old carpet, fraying curtains, the bath room counter top falling off, holes in bathroom walls, tub surface worn off. The sheets are tired, no blanket. It didn't smell and no bugs that I saw.
- Goss (6/5): It will do for a night or too the cheapest in Moab. - The property was convenient to every thing and the waffles for the free breakfast were good, they had coffee, juice, waffles, toast, bagels ,donuts, muffins, cereal, yogurt so it was a good breakfast, The rooms definitely needed some TLC the coating in the tubs was coming off, the bedding and beds not good, I had water coming up from the tile in bathroom was not pleasant, but if you just need a bed to sleep this is the cheapest you will find in Moab.
- Linda (6/5): -
- Jon (3/5): This place needs vast improvements with properly repairing the drywall in the ceiling in the bathroo - I do not eat breakfast. The water valve in the shower would not turn off all the way in water dribbled 24 hours a day... the drain pipe under the sink in the bathroom leaked on the floor. The shower curtain is so thin that it wraps around your body while you're trying to take a shower. The toilet and the toilet seat are both far too small for an adult. The housekeeping staff threw my socks on the floor of the bathroom when I had them hung up to dry.
- Herrera (5/5): You get what you pay for. - I liked that the facilities were clean and the cheap price. I did not like the check in process. The gentleman at the front desk seemed annoyed with my valid questions. Facilities say there is a pool and there is not. The bed was not the best but okay for someone who had been car camping. Also laundry services were a bit expensive.
- Sharon (5/5): -
- Michael (8/5): -
- Jeffrey (8/5): -
- Bryannette (1/5): Nothing - Nothing Was very noisy we didn’t get no sleep.
- Laura (7/5): -
- Chong (8/5): -
- Paul (9/5): - The location was terrific. Close to the arches.
- Benally (10/5): It was good - Close to work No breakfast
- David (1/5): Only if it’s the last room in town. - We were camping in Moab. Due to heavy rain, flash flood warnings and 60mph gusts, we needed a room for the night. The only positive thing I can say about this property is it had a roof that kept us dry during the rain storm. That’s it. Everything else was far below average. A rip off. Front desk person (appears to be an owner/operator) was none too friendly when he was called from the back office to check us in. The décor looks like it’s been cobbled together from what ever was available at the thrift store. Sewer smell coming up from the sink drain. Also some other odd smell in the bathroom, couldn’t place it but smelled like something burnt. Pictures missing from walls, just picture hangers where pictures should be hanging. No clock in room. Toilet paper holder kept trying to fall off the wall. The plates covering electrical outlets also wanted to fall off. Some outlets didn’t work. Floor lamp didn’t work. Tub in terrible shape, needs replacing. Bed was horrible, felt more like a box spring than a mattress. Hall smells like wet, mildewy towels. For a mere $250, you too can have this unforgettable experience. No, I can’t recommend this motel.
- Travis (5/5): -
- Kathleen (6/5): - Location to park was ideal. One night stay. Breakfast was good. The bathroom smelled. The shower was old and mold and cracks paint chipping. Didn’t feel clean to shower in.
- Daniel (3/5): Pretty bad choice - take it if no other options - Last minute booking, overall room was somewhat clean I had no other options besides sleeping in my car. Read previous reviews all pretty spot on. Derelict and outdated. This should not be a $200/night stay just because it sits in Moab. And for that matter shouldn’t be allowed to operate there until completely restored. Only book it as a last option.
- Myrna (1/5): I would never stay there again. - Very noisy! Heard the people talking in the room next to us! All the doors slammed. The breakfast was not good. It was one of the worst places we have stayed in.
- Diane (3/5): - That it was cheaper than the surrounding options. When entering the lobby, it smelt like throw up, old coffee and carpet that hasn't been changed since 1980. There were many people waiting to get checked in around 8pm on a Tuesday night. I stood in line for a minute, but decided to grab a bite to eat to kill some time. Got back around 930pm and was checked in fairly quickly. Got to my room, it was clean and basic. The bed was a worn out spring mattress that folded me into the center like its the original bed that has been there since the place opened. I was so tired from being off grade that week, that I didnt really care. It should be called, "The GhettoWay." Cause, it's definitely not the best place in town.
- Pete (7/5): -
- David (5/5): Upgrade and avoid this place - The rooms were clean.
If you need a place to stay to me, I think it's overpriced. It was still the cheaper option. But I would have paid more elsewhere. Now, I didn't notice it because it was hidden behind the open door that they have a D. Rating for sanitation from the the department of health. That's a little concerning, cause it makes you wonder. What are they doing wrong.
I thought it was rude, i think it was the manager. Closed the doors and shut the lights off on us while we were eating. Because it was 9 o clock. After he shut the door that's when you're able to see there D rating.
Tv was small. Bed was hard
- Marla (5/5): -
- James (7/5): -
- Devery (7/5): -
- Marcelo (4/5): -
- Darcy (9/5): Good budget accommodations - It was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was hot and worked well, continental breakfast was convenient. It was noisy from being right next to the road (but I’m sure the rest of the hotels are too). No pool
- Bill (4/5): Not stay there again. - The coffee was terrible, and the breakfast room was too small. See above
- Gabriel J. (8/5): Es exatamente lo que dice - Buen lugar para visitar Moab
- Timothy (2/5): -
- Jelly Ann (8/5): - The staff and their service The price is quite expensive
- Deanna (5/5): -
- Shirley (10/5): -
- Marc (3/5): Cheap price but still not worth coming back. - Location Property had no indicated trailer parking, so I parked in an out of the way corner. Then was made to move upon check-in. Clerk was very rude and stated I had to move because the property was full. Maybe 10 cars in that lot all night.
- Dionysus (4/5): - It was cheap No breakfast as advertised, the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, the time flooring was uneven
- Cheri (8/5): Great value, comfort and perfect location! - We like the location ample parking at the north end of town close to the bike path and river bike path and closer to the national parks. Its a good deal, the beds are comfortable and private a good breakfast March through November.
- Benally (10/5): -
- Melanie (7/5): Good deal for an expensive town. - Price, location, privacy. Rooms could've been a little bit cleaner and bed was a little hard.
- Jerry (7/5): Comfortable at a good value - Good sized room, very clean, nice bathroom, a lot of variety for breakfast No microwave in room
- Laura (8/5): -
- Dylan (4/5): - Breakfast was milk and cereal with plain bagels and some coffee The person who initially greeted us was fairly disengaged, actively watching videos on their phone while checking us in. The person who helped us check out was nice.
- David (10/5): -
- Brenda (7/5): -
- Alicia (1/5): Worst hotel experience ever - Absolutely nothing. Worst hotel ever Staff was incredibly rude and condensending. The room smelled terrible and had a strong odor of smoke. We went to eat breakfast and in the middle of heating our waffle the manager turned the waffle iron off and flipped the beverage dispenser off as I was mid pour of juice. Clearly he didnt want us to eat breakfast. After checking in staff loudly argued with another customer trying to check in. It was all that was available after a long drive so we had no choice but to stay. Stay away from this place. Its definitely not worth the money. Sleeping in the car would have been better accommodations.
- Scott (5/5): Just needed an inexpensive place to sleep for the weekend. This fit the bill. - Inexpensive. Convenient to trails on north end of town. Better lighting inside the room. Cleaner bathroom.
- Brent (1/5): I wont go back - Good location Dirty bathroom. Dirty floors
- Eileen (5/5): - Bath water faucet broke. Wouldn't turn off.
- Martin (4/5): -
- James (6/5): See above - Good location I could have sworn it showed a pool on website pool was broke so I was expecting a pool when I booked and was disappointed
- Sue (7/5): Good for a 1 or 2 night stop, but not a vacation destination. - Room was clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. Good location if you have a car, but can't walk to town. Whole property is in need of serious cosmetic update. And if you're not going to have a useable pool, get rid of it completely, don't leave it as an eyesore next to the hotel.
- Ballasch (9/5): -
- Luis Efren (7/5): -
- Cynthia (9/5): -
- Valerie (4/5): Meh. - Stains on the sheets, rude front desk personnel, bed super uncomfortable, walls are thin and noise is loud
- Mark (3/5): -
- Chris (10/5): I would stay again - Very convenient The tub was gross
- Carla (7/5): - The room was clean
- Donna (5/5): -
- Tyler (6/5): Was a decent place to stay. However, I can't fully recommend a place where cockroaches are found. - Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Continental breakfast. Killed a cockroach in the bathroom. That's never a good sign.
- Randy (1/5): The guy behind the counter should find a different job, he’s definitely not a people person. I would rather have slept i - Great location. Close to downtown. No pool as advertised. No spa as advertised. Even with both of these in none working order, which should say that on the website, they felt the need to have a sign that said
No pool- no spa - no refunds
If it’s advertised online and someone gets there to see there’s no pool, they should get a refund.
- Lea (8/5): - The helpfulness of the late nite staff. I think a microwave would be nice to have in the rooms.
- Mark (6/5): -
- Venkat (8/5): - The amenities like gym, pool. everything was good. Nothing in specific
- Li (10/5): -
- Donald (8/5): -
- Dominique (5/5): - Paid for late checkout and not only did they call the room, they also knock on the door at 9:00 to ask if were we’re leaving
- Rozina (1/5): Do not recommend - Location Overall, the bedsheets smelled and extremely dirty restrooms. It had strong odor of mold. It was expensive and not worth a penny.
- Michael (8/5): -
- Rebecca (10/5): -
- Denise (7/5): -
- Eliot (5/5): Good location but NO BREAKFAST as advertised. - Comfy bed, great location There is no breakfast! Only 3 pillows for king bed. Thin walls.
- Manuel (5/5): -
- Thomas (1/5): - We were not able to stay the night as they head overbooked. So we can't say what we did like. The staff seem to be clueless as to how to deal with an overbooking situation.
- phil (7/5): comfortable, clean, and a pleasant experience - limited for myself as I am celiac(most every thing wheat based) but fine for my wife nothing
- Lance (6/5): -
- Ruth (6/5): -
- Brent (7/5): Inexpensive. Efficient. A place to rest for the night. - Cost efficient. Close in proximity to meet travel purposes. I didn’t need to have breakfast services provided but the website stated “breakfast provided”. However, at the front desk for check in, the staff member mentioned that since it’s now the “slow season”, the facility does not provide breakfast. Like I said, breakfast is not needed but if it’s advertised and not provided, that’s a problem.
- MASAKO (8/5): Good motel, reasonable price, I will use it again, breakfast was good - Location and cleanliness D rating announcement from Department of Health - needs more explanation because I was satisfied with the service.
- O'Donovan (7/5): -
- Lexi (4/5): Old and a little rundown, cheap, mostly clean - It was fairly cheap to stay here. Room was pretty clean. No pool or hot tub, they look abandoned on the side of the building. Inside the hotel, in some of the corners in the hallways were covered in cobwebs and bugs. Not updated rooms. Very tiny tv and the walls are thin. No microwave in the room. The breakfast was pretty sparse as well.
