I especially want to highlight Ms. Türkan from the housekeeping department, who took care of everything for us and was extremely helpful. Additionally, our rooms were spotless. The housekeeping staff were also cooperative and paid great attention to cleanliness. It was a comfortable stay and a good experience overall. The only downside was that the room was a bit small.

My cousin and I, as two women alone in a new country were so happy with our stay here! •There is a safe down stairs that has incredible coffee and tea, the staff are basically there around the clock and will go above and beyond to help, anwser questions, advice on navigating the city, and know their guests. • I was there for dental work and everyone made a point to check in on me and ensure I was treated well and see if I needed anything to be comfortable. • The attention to detail and genuine care is something I haven't experienced. The room was spacious, cleaned to perfection and very comfortable. Ms. Turcan, the housekeeping caretaker especially made our stay perfect. • This hotel is nestled in a good neighborhood, so you get more of a real feel for life in Istanbul, the people in the area are kind, generous of knowledge and really all around warm. •We both walked all over together and separately and felt much safer than some places in America. • I have already been speaking to friends and family and will always send them to Hotel Sparkle! The location is perfect—surrounded by the trendiest restaurants and cafés, with Nişantaşı, the ideal shopping district, just a short distance away. It’s also conveniently accessible from Istanbul Airport. The hotel itself is small and cozy, but its greatest asset is the staff—they always go above and beyond to help with anything we need. I truly feel at home here. Thank you so much! The hotel is great in every way. But if you’re thinking of buying wine from the store across the street—don’t. It’s the worst wine I’ve ever had in my life.

They gave sound tips to help our visit trips around the city...and at times provided excellent complimentary Turkish tea& coffee in the lobby! They have excellent toilets with fully running warm water both in the taps & showers! Good qualty Hairdryer available! Cleaner was exceptionally good lady (Tarun)! The room card key had to be recharged every time on the 5th Floor! They said it was to ensure safety...however, was cumbersome. There was no complementary dental kits (toothbrush/toothpaste) and only liquid soap and no Shampoo.

The first picture is not the hotel. And I booked the room on booking.com,then the hotel arranges me the room different from the pictures on booking.com,and it is a roof room with small windows. For me ,it is not hotel. 1.We two people living in one room and asked for two room cards,I think it is reasonable ,then I was asked to provide the credit card and make security deposit for the second room card. 2.When I checked in,the man didn’t give me a card including the room No.and WIFI user name and password,he just spoke out and let me remember them in mind….I just got off the international flight with time difference. Is this hotel? 3.when I checked in ,I provided my passport and he copied the passport,I think the personal information on all the passports Whichever countries the passports are issued by is on the first page. This is the common sense. Well,since the wifi password is the Passport No.,I tried half an hour,I can not be connected,then I went downstairs,this man copied my French VISA page on my passport,and input the French VISA No. as my passport No. instead of my passport No.,in this case ,he should have recognized the mistake he made and express the apology,but he insisted that he is night,the French VISA No. is the passpNo.So ,it depends,if you are not that poor,maybe there are more options in Istanbul.

We had a room with the balcony, but the AC water was draining into the balcony, so it was dirty, wet and smelled bad. It said the view of the balcony was of the city, but it was just a back alley way where you can see other people hanging their clothes to dry - little underwhelming! Wifi is linked with your passport number, which raises privacy concerns. When the wifi was not working, they gave me someone's else's passport number to connect my laptop - they were being helpful, but someone's passport number was shared with me without their consent. In US, I can sue someone for that, in Türkiye, you take it with a gain of salt! In room food menu is not up to date. The one on their website is different than the one you scan in the rooms. And after asking the staff, apparently a burger was 27 euros. No one was sure about the food item prices, so we ended up eating outside. Was it worth the price? - No, it is not up to the standards I am used to when I travel Europe.

• Ali (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect. Metro is walking distance and plenty of area to see nearby. Also the staff was very helpful and polite from the moment we get in the hotel. I travel a lot, and when you compare to the city hotels in other European countries, the size of the room, the cleanliness, is far ahead of them. Also, the breakfast is far more good than I expected. I highly recommend the hotel and thanks for their hospitality. Nothing at all.

As someone who travels to Istanbul at least 5-6 times a year, I would definitely not recommend this hotel, I can even say that it is by far the worst hotel I have stayed in this price segment. During my 6 night stay, the sheets were not changed even once and the towels were changed only once. There is neither shampoo nor shower gel in the bathroom, even toilet paper is not renewed. I wonder what the staff entering the rooms do! Sound insulation in the rooms is extremely bad. Breakfast is a complete disgrace. In Turkey standards, let alone 4 star level, even in much lower level hotels, an unacceptable breakfast is served. Everything is cold, stale, poor quality and the variety is very, very small. Even the water they gave us must have been mains water because it smelled mouldy. Honestly, I have never come across another hotel in Istanbul that serves such a bad breakfast. I should also mention that for the first time in my life, I came across a hotel where breakfast service started at 8:30. If you have early work, you may stay without breakfast some days like me. On the hotel cards, it is stated that breakfast starts at 8:00, but in vain! Typical example of indifference! Except for the woman working in the restaurant, all the staff are extremely indifferent. They are constantly either busy with their mobile phones or chatting on the phone or among themselves, but their interest in the guests is zero. An approach that does not suit a hospitable country like Turkey at all. It is inconceivable that the hotel has this score with the conditions, service and price scale offered by the hotel. Booking score misled me for the first time and caused me to make a bad choice. If you have business in Sisli, the location of the hotel will work, but other than that, there is really no positive feature of the hotel. Any hotel you choose at this price and even slightly below this price will satisfy you more. Stay away!

A trusted friend had suggested it to me, and now I fully understand why! The hotel's location is extremely convenient, with Jawaher mall and the metro station within walking distance. Check-in was efficient, and we received a complimentary room upgrade. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always offering prompt assistance and valuable information. The breakfast was both delicious and served by a delightful elderly lady in the restaurant. The rooms were impeccably clean and generously sized, with round-the-clock service available. While we were offered a late check-out option that we did not require, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture. Additionally, I am grateful for the hotel's peaceful location in a quieter part of Sisli. I highly recommend the Sparkle Hotel and eagerly anticipate my next stay there in the future.

• Alev (8/5): Perfect breakfast & nice staff - There was a very attentive staff who didn't overlook your requests. From the receptionist to the floor attendant and the lady preparing breakfast. The rooms were spacious and quite comfortable. The bathroom was clean and nice. Breakfast was fresh, very tasty, and more than sufficient. Unfortunately, due to a problem with the window of the room we stayed in, effective sound insulation with the outside could not be achieved. If I had mentioned this during my stay, perhaps a solution could have been found, but it slipped my mind amidst the hustle and bustle. So, what I mean is that it would be beneficial to review the window of the respective room.
