- Mina (3/5): Will never return or refer. - My family and I stayed there for 4 days booked under Booking.com Motel 6 Vallejo CA. We checked in on Monday May 18th thru Friday 22nd 2026. (5/18/26-5/22/26). We were in room #109 downstairs next to the laundry room. There were cameras in front of the hallway. However, every night it was an issue! 1. The refrigerator didn't work. It took 2 people to fix by the 2nd day. Roach on the 1st day crawling up the wall. 2. A/C unit broken housekeeping assist with the unit/broken and taped. Unit stayed on 62 degrees for the whole stay. 3. Homeless and addicts walking around the door/corners, men stripping, cleaning their body's with dirty water under the stairs by my windows, and. sleeping in the hallway under camera by my door room #109 in a non smoking room. Opening the door to all of this was scary. 4. A woman screaming, yelling, throwing garbage cans and glass bottles by my window. I called the office nobody came. Only response was I called the police but no police came. 5. I relocated to Pinole Ca Motel 6 through Booking.com with a bridge toll. Better motel and my family feels safe! They have them.

- fuchsen (6/5): - Parking lot security was great. There was new furniture in the room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the shower water had one temperature extremely hot. The bathroom also had a cigarette smoke smell.
- Jessica (2/5): I ll never be back - The location is awful. There were people living in their RV on the property. All kinds of sketchy people there. The first nite a man was either outside our door or in a room fighting with “someone” saying he was going to murder them and going crazy. Either the other person was whispering or he was fighting with a imaginary friend

- Sheree (1/5): Loud, hot, looks run down…. - There was an RV parked at the locked gate closest to our room, and on the other side of our room was a guy passed out against the wall. There were motorcycles that I guess were with the RV people or something because they were reving the engine and it was very loud until after midnight. We went to meet our DoorDasher and the employee knocked over a metal trash can that was extremely loud and other people staying came out and were not happy.

- patricm952 (2/5): Worst Motel I’ve ever stayed at! - I travel a lot, but I have never experienced anything like the Motel 6 Vallejo – Six Flags West. The moment I arrived in the parking lot, I could already smell cannabis in the air. Loud music was blasting while shady people were hanging out and partying in front of their rooms — in the middle of the day! The check-in was behind bulletproof glass, which apparently is standard practice here… not exactly reassuring. Once inside my room, I noticed a sign on the back of the door saying “For your own safety, keep the door locked at night.” Yeah, that really inspires confidence! I had originally booked two nights, but after the first one I just couldn’t take it anymore. I barely slept a minute — there was constant noise, people yelling, loud music, cars screeching into the parking lot… I honestly felt like I was in a bad neighborhood or straight-up ghetto. In the middle of the night, I ended up booking another hotel nearby just to get some rest. The next morning, I went to the front desk to check out early, and the lady there was by far the rudest hotel employee I’ve ever met in the U.S. She didn’t listen to a word I said, showed zero interest, and just cut me off with a cold “No refund.” I wasn’t even expecting one — it was more the total lack of courtesy that shocked me. After returning home to Germany, I emailed Motel 6 about what happened, but even after four weeks and a follow-up message, I never received any response. That really says it all about how this chain handles complaints. Bottom line: This was absolutely my last stay at any Motel 6. I strongly advise everyone to avoid the Motel 6 Vallejo – Six Flags West.

- Jordan (10/5): - This is probably the cleanest and most updated Motel 6 I’ve stayed at. It’s in a secluded spot in Vallejo to where I didn’t feel like I was unsafe. Would totally stay here again for any quick trip in the area.
- Fabiana (2/5): Don’t stay there - I recently stayed at this Motel 8 and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. The hallways were noisy with people fighting, making it hard to relax or get a good night’s sleep. There were also hygiene issues—I even had to deal with multiple cockroaches in my room. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if you’re looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay.

Had to have housekeeping come show me how to operate it. TV was ok, said 40 channels, but half of them Had no signal and the “guide” did not sync with what channel you watched.

Had to buy an inflatable mattress twin to sleep. The towels were dirty. Killed 3 cockroaches. There were homeless in the parking lots.

When i asked for clean towels the next morning, the front desk reported none were available until after 830am. I needed to leave by 8am. It was very inconvenient porr service.

Hard working cleaning lady. 1/2 the front desk nice 1/2 NOT as friendly. There wasn’t coffee every day. Shower head was not functioning properly. Seemed sketchy. Over all dirty & unsafe for a female traveling alone. My least favorite motel 6 to date.

- Lisa (8/5): - This place is definitely a place I’d stay at again. The convenience of being right off the freeway is great, but the traffic noise can be a downside. The hotel door into our room wasn’t very sealed, so the noise seemed to come in more. On the bright side, the staff was very accommodating. When we arrived around 1:30 p.m., after driving for four hours, she informed us that our room wasn’t ready. Despite our exhaustion, she took it upon herself to check on the room and we were able to go in immediately. I thought that was very kind of her!

- Linda (6/5): - NO REASON YOU NEED TO STAY HERE. This property is not unsafe, although homeless live within blocks. Once I saw one under the stairs. The staff is nice, the room is clean, and the WiFi is just OK. The biggest reason not to stay here: smokers stand too close to the building, and the smell wafts into the room thru gaps in the door or sucked into your AC. The weather is nice enough to open the window, but not to smell the stink of weed! The second biggest reason not to stay here: property is not maintained AT ALL. Tall weeds and trash everywhere! Curb appeal, and the impression of safety is severely lacking. There are two OTHER Motel 6 properties nearby that are WAY better than this one!! Stay there instead.
- Robert (4/5): - The bath tub was patched from a break in the bitten, the shower curtain rod was hanging loose, so the curtain wouldn’t stay close so it flooded the bathroom when you took a shower the sink for washing your hands and brushing your teeth was broken. There was a piece broken out of it. The faucet was loose. I spilled something on the floor so I was wiping it up and the floor was filthy. I would not recommend this place. Yes, it was cheap but cheap doesn’t have to be dirty.

- Bruce (2/5): Very bad hotel, DO NOT STAY HERE - Started off with every light and outlet at the head of the bed not working. Bathtub had no stopper to take a bath. I expressed my concern about the no power and all she did was attempt to give partial refund for night, i didnt if that meant leave so so said no. Also rooms above me were blasting music til 3am with unusual activity inside and outside the rooms. Not a motel i will EVER return to with or without my nephews.

Called front desk to complain about loud music and their response we can’t do anything about it. That’s is, music and people partying went on till 2:00am. Couldn’t sleep, wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all!

Just above the curtains, there were families of spiders living there.Stretching from one side to the other. Apparently, for a while. I say were because I immediately went to the office to ask for a broom to knock them down. The staff looked at me puzzled as I told them I would do it. I felt like it It should have already been done. The floor was dirty.
