• Ze'ev (9/5): Great 3 star hotel, very close to subway and center, with self cooking and self laundry services. - Great location, 5 min from subway and 7 min from river. Extremely courteous and very helpful staff. speaking good English, especially James, the reception manager. Self cooking and Laundry facilities. Changing towels and sheets every three days. Note that this is a 3 star hotel. Apart of this, it was great, and we would definitely re-book in case we come back to Kyoto.

• Krystian (10/5): Wróciłbym dla samego spędzenia czasu ze świetną obsługą! Pozdrowienia dla Was. - Wszystko było idealne, natomiast na największe podziękowania zasługuje obsługa. Zostawiłem czapkę w Shinkansenie, a kochana Pani z recepcji pomogła mi zorganizować jej transport przez pół Japonii. Dodatkowo obsługa dysponuje świetnym angielskim i była bardzo kompetentna. Sam pokój też posiadał wszystkiego pod dostatkiem, czuliśmy się w pełni zaopiekowani, było bardzo wygodnie, szczególnie że to praktycznie sama dzielnica Gion, a metro też było dosłownie obok. Nie ma takiej rzeczy.

• jeantot (9/5): Ottima soluzione per famiglie in un tranquillo quartiere di Kyoto. - Piccolo hotel in un tranquillo quartiere di Kyoto, vicino ad un paio di fermate della metro quindi molto comodo per la visita della città e a pochi passi dal quartiere di Pontocho che si raggiunge con una piacevole camminata. In zona sono presenti numerosi ristorantini e combini, compreso un tradizionale sento pubblico nella via a fianco per chi fosse interessato ad una autentica esperienza local. La stanza era pulita, abbastanza spaziosa, dotata di piccola cucina e lavatrice in camera. Bagno piccolo ma funzionale con impianto che consente anche l'asciugatura degli indumenti. Il personale ci ha accolto con professionalità e gentilezza. Ottima soluzione per famiglie per la visita di Kyoto. Sarebbe gradita la costante presenza fisica alla reception che si può solo contattare attraverso un tablet.

• JOHN (10/5): A large, clean room in a great location. - The location was near Gion, downtown, and the subway. The room was large, and had a kitchenette and washing machine. The staff was friendly and spoke English. Just a great choice overall for our needs. It’s hard to find something negative worth saying. This was one of our best choices among many in Japan. One limitation was that reception was only staffed from about 9am to 8pm. Late night questions and refills on things had to wait.

It was pretty small. we actually rented two rooms and one of the rooms smelled really bad. I don’t know if it was the people next-door cooking but it kind of smelled like cat food all night. I also didn’t like the light that was on the ceiling in the room with the bed. It stayed on all night. There was no way to actually shut it off when you shut it off. It was still on like the moon.

It smelled like smoke in the hallway. No dryer. Lack of security is concerning. One night we came back to the hotel at around 10 pm, there was a drunk male in the lobby. He seems very agitated. I did not feel safe with my family walking past him and there was no one else. We quickly got around him being afraid he might follow us or even attack us.

Laundry facilities in the room are easy to use and efficient. The position is startegic, really close to sanjo station and at 10 mins walk from the center. The staff was super helpful, and always ready to answer all the doubts we had. • Aurora (10/5): Una estancia de 10 en Kyoto - La habitación es más grande de lo habitual en Japón, las camas cómodas y el baño muy bien equipado, con ducha y bañera. Tiene una nevera grande y una zona pequeña de cocina y comedor. Si es necesario puedes alquilar utensilios de cocina por ¥500. También tiene lavadora y te ofrecen detergente gratuito. La ubicación es excelente, una zona tranquila cerca de dos líneas de metro y muchos restaurantes. El personal muy amable. En general nos encantó todo, un 10.
