The bathroom in our bedroom needed replacing as tired and dated. Some boards on the sun deck also needed some repairs as loose.

Bei Nachfrage kam die Antwort: wir haben Vögel die machen alles voll deshalb bleiben Auflagen und Sitzkissen weg“ unglaublich. Blumenkübel nicht bepflanzt usw. Personal teilweise unfreundlich. Lediglich das Frühstück und Abendbuffet war ok. Wir kommen nicht wieder - sorry

Ivana (10/5): - Der Standort ist einfach perfeke, die ganze Algarve Küste ist von hier aus gut zu erreichen, ausserdem gibt es einen wunderschönen Strand direkt vor der Haustür.

Food was delicious, fabulous live music at breakfast and dinner - with stunning ocean views! - Very comfortable, clean and calming atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing family holiday with direct access to a perfect beach. The decor could do with some modernisation but it was all clean and comfortable.

Philip (3/5): Very disappointing and very painful. I have the scars to prove it. - Breakfast was very nice and well presented. Breakfast staff were also very efficient. This Hotel was billed as 5 star and in no way deserved a 5 star rating. The air conditioning in the bedroom did not work and there was no coffee machine in the bedroom. A coffee in the foyer had to be orderd in person 2 floors down, paid in cash and carted up 2 floors to drink. There were no 5 star touches whatsoever. In fact worse than that the Hotel was downright dangerous. I slipped on a wet floor with no warning signs to advise me of the danger, beside a decorative inside pond immediatley outside the bar and cracked my head on the edge of the pond and fell into this grubby pool. Hotel guests came to my rescue and despite being in obvious need of proper medical assistance and in a state of shock was ignored by staff nearby who apparently carried on working as normal. No first aiders and no enquiries as to my health and wellness were made by staff and nothing such as ice or medication was offered. The same incident happened 3 or 4 times to others before they eventually emptied the pond. The hotel being old had a huge number of hidden steps and ridges in it and is an accident waiting to happen for the unweary. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking 5 star treatment.

Nikki (7/5): Rooms could be better. Location great. - The hotel is in a fantastic location and the bars and restaurants are great. The staff are fantastic. The hotel itself is dated and could do with refurbishment. The room was basic and the bed was not that comfortable. It didn’t give ‘luxury’ vibes that you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The room was basic and lacked power sockets. TVs should also be upgraded to smart TVs that you can stream to.

Our room was very dirty and despite of asking for additional cleaning we did not get any. We found cockroaches in our room on 3 different days - and found lots of dirty parts in the room while trying to kill them. The hotel is well build but many parts requires refurbishing. The tênis courts are abandoned

Os quartos eram grandes, luminosos, bem decorados, confortáveis , muito limpos. Hotel com ótimas infra-estruturas, desde a piscina, ao restaurante e bar, piscina interior, acesso à praia e vistas espetaculares. Um serviço 5* , uma simpatia e um cuidado com os hóspedes sem precedente. Adoramos ! Foi tudo bom, só achamos que o tempo e qualidade de serviço do bar da piscina na hora de ponta do almoço , pode ser melhorado.

Das Badezimmer mit mangelhafter Handbrause in Badewanne (=Dusche) und Waschbecken mit Wasserhähnen unter die man kaum seine Hände bekommt ist für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel und Buchung eines Top-Zimmers in der sechsten Etage unzureichend. Zudem waren bei den Matratzen die Federn zu spüren.

Funcionários muito simpáticos , área de bar agradável com música , tudo limpo e bar da piscina a preços razoáveis Ginásio com equipamento estragado , sauna a funcionar mal , jacuzzi frio e com demasiado cloro, elevador para praia avariado , sem oferta de fruta de boas vindas para um hotel desta categoria . A taxa de turismo de 4€ cobrada por pessoa por dia é absurda sobretudo sendo portugueses e até locais do Algarve

Ana (5/5): Colchones de 16 años - La ubicación y el diseño interior era magnífico Los colchones estaban fechados en 2010; tenían 16 años!! Tengo todo el cuerpo contracturado. Pagamos por dos habitaciones de un hotel 5* pero con la comodidad de la habitación de una pensión. Un día nos nos limpiaron la habitación y otro tuvimos que pedirlo a las seis de la tarde (he is estado 4 noches). Apenas tenía presión el grifo de la bañera y del lavabo. Olía a humedad. El buffet de la cena (muy cara) y desayuno no estaban al nivel de la categoría 5* en absoluto . Falta de personal eso al en la piscina. En fin, volvería a esa playa pero nunca a este hotel.

Dalia (9/5): - The place and the beach immediately next to the hotel are amazing. The views, the atmosphere, live music, were very relaxing. Ther was a choice of activities for boys- gym, mini golf, tennis….We stayed 3 nights and it felt refreshing, walked along the beaches every day, very different landscapes accessible just by walking. The bed was not very comfortable.

Frann (10/5): Relaxed and glorious beach holiday! - Absolutely lovely stay. We were two adults and two kids and we all felt catered for. The staff were amazing. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The beach was glorious!

Hemos estado en este hotel 5 veces porque nos gusta mucho pero esta vez el desayuno buffet estaba frío, lo mas rico como siempre era la tortilla francesa que la preparan al momento y con los ingredientes que quieras de las opciones que ofrecen. Tampoco nos gustó que ya no hay máquina para hacerte tu propio café y cuando traían a la mesa el café que pedíamos no estaba bueno y estaba frío. De resto todo EXCELENTE!!! Gracias.

Steffi (6/5): Definitely not 5 star, more like 3 star - The location is beautiful right on a beautiful beach. The hotel pool is beautiful and decor in communal areas very nice Bedroom small and dated. No walk in shower in a 5 star hotel. Bath did not hold water, we requested it be fixed but never happened. Cheap 1980’s hairdryer in bathroom attached to wall. TV had no WiFi or smart features, mattress was so bad we had to get replaced, housekeeping is one man doing entire hotel. No remote for TV and nobody had a spare for 3 hours. Food was average 3 star all inclusive. Breakfast the hot food was cold and although a omelette station nothing else fresh. Dinner in restaurant was buffet and absolutely grim, poor quality and service. Bar food better quality but limited choice. In brief if you are happy in a low grade 4 star hotel you will be fine but do not expect a 5 star experience in this hotel. On the plus the weather was nice and pool lovely but again not a 5 star pool with towels and attendants and service to sun loungers etc. Each to their own but a hard pass from me.

Algumas zonas necessitam de obras de manutenção e reparação dada a idade do imóvel, no pequeno-almoço havia pouca variedade de queijos e não havia presunto a reposição também poderia ser melhor pois faltavam produtos.

BARBARA (6/5): Hotel agradable pero no esperen máxima categoría - El personal muy amable y las instalaciones exteriores muy bien El desayuno no tiene calidad de 5 estrellas. Las habitaciones son antiguas, no tienen no conexión USB y el baño está anticuado, no hay productos de aseo acorde a un hotel de máxima categoría.
