- Tony (10/5): Can't wait for a reason to stay there again !!!!!!!!!!! - The ambiance of the hotel is superb The stairs !!!!!!!
- David (6/5): -
- Harry (10/5): -
- Williams (10/5): Exceptional value - From arrival through to departure with the exception of 1 thing everything was exceptional The shower could have been better
- Heaslewood (9/5): in one word, Excellent. - From the moment we arrived Eve, the duty manager, made us feel welcome, provided us with some local knowledge which proved very valuable. She was also on duty at breakfast which was excellent as was the service. The location was perfect for our stay having visited Bletchley Park on the way up & visiting Silverstone museum the next day. It was great to see The Saracens Head Hotel mentioned several time in the Silverstone museum. Cannot believe there was no draught Abbott Ale or indeed any ale on draught on a Friday night! Know barrels have got to settle, surely there should be two draught beers so there is always one available, thought Green King was a brewer!
- Paul (10/5): - Very welcoming staff.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Very clean hotel and rooms.
- Susan (10/5): Excellent - beautiful old pub N/A

- Lucy (7/5): Interesting Stay - This is a lovely space. I had made the assumption this was a pub, but this is more like a restaurant with a bar. Nice atmosphere and a varied menu. My room was quirky, you must remember this is an old building, so rooms are odd shapes, and in my single room the bathroom was definitely bijoux, although the shower was big. The room was a good temperature and had all I needed. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The staff were all lovely. Wifi was slow at best. I am short, so had no problems, but an average height person would not be able to sit straight in the bathroom. It was quite noisy in my room as it overlooked the road, and as I was at the top I could hear alot of plumbing noise. The television viewing was limited. It's all stairs, with lots of different stairwells, so if stairs are any issue (especially narrow/wonky ones) choose rooms on the 1st floor.
- Daniel (8/5): Nice place, clean and friendly and a good location - Lovely place to stay, very clean and staff friendly. Not really a dislike, but the room was very small. It was absolutely fine for me as I was travelling alone but would be a bit cramped for two
- benjamin (6/5): Dated but pleasant. - The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Central in towcester. Rooms and entire place is very dated, including the facilities within the room down to furniture and kettle. All very dated and could do with a decor change. Looks like its not been touched for 20 years.
Also could very clearly hear my neighbouring room at all times.
When the bar shuts, they dont offer any way of getting drinks to the room or staying open for guests staying.
- Philip (8/5): - Lovely old building. Plenty of parking. Big comfortable room. Friendly staff. Nice dinner - try the pie and mash. Good breakfast - try the eggs royale Not a locals’ pub
- Jim (7/5): Reasonable Value for Money but Basic. - Friendly room above pub at a reasonable price. Small room. Needing redecorating. Some fixtures broken.
- Richard (8/5): a very enjoyable stay and convenient for my visit - food and drink well priced good location and friendly staff all food was tasty and well cooked room 1 and 2 can be quite noisy when the fans in the garages below the rooms are running i have stayed in both rooms
- Lauren (9/5): -
- carol (10/5): Great location, easy check in. Parking available. - Room spacious bed comfortable and windows opened for fresh air.
- peter (9/5): -
- Kay (8/5): - The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is in a lovely location. The carpark wasn't very big and we struggled to get a space. The room needed a little dated and in need of some TLC. The water pressure wasn't great. However, it was spotlessly clean and it is a very old building so probably limited with plumbing and facilities.
- Alan (10/5): Fantastic - Everything about it was fantastic staff, room and food

- Joanne (10/5): Good value for money - Conveniently located let us book in early as we had a wedding to go to, breakfast was fresh and hot with a good choice The ceiling looked in bad shape but there was a painter and decorator on site

- Campbell (8/5): -
- Tracy (10/5): -
- Carl (8/5): Great location for local attractions, would return. - Lots to like here. Staff extremely helpful and accommodating and food was good value for money.
Nothing was too much trouble and we would return.
Unfortunately there was a downside to this visit, it was nothing to do with the establishment itself or its staff however it did detract from an otherwise enjoyable stay . Thoughtless insensitive guests in an adjoining or nearby room having there television on at high volume from 4 in the morning until around 7. Had I known exactly which room it was coming from I would have informed our hosts accordingly.
Sorry but it prevented me from giving full marks for our stay.
Just more ill mannered people amongst us these days.
- Richard (8/5): Good location, friendly staff and great value for money. - Character, location and very helpful and friendly staff. Shower was a bit low pressure.
- Natasha (10/5): -
- Tayler Baumber (10/5): -
- Saunders (5/5): Adequate but uninteresting - Very good breakfast My room, accessible by spiral staircase. I'm 82 and have had hip surgery.
Given its history I thought the place lacked character and charm. The main bar could have been an airport lounge anywhere.
- Scott (7/5): -
- Scott (7/5): -
- Robert (6/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): Good - Good room, great breakfast.
- Alison (8/5): Excellent value for money - we’d stay again! - The room was large and nicely furnished, and the breakfast was delicious! Our check-in and welcome could have been warmer and more personal.
- Petula12345 (10/5): Great food, great atmosphere - We had a lovely meal at the Saracens served by Leksi. She was polite friendly and helpful.
There was a great atmosphere and as always a friendly welcome.
- clare (6/5): -
- Steve (6/5): Nice place but sadly very noisy. - Free car park, good food and good location. Only down is the noise, mainly from the very busy traffic flow, other guests moving around, unfortunately didn't get much sleep. Sadly there isn't much the hotel can do about it being such an old building.
- david (8/5): Pleasant but could do better - Located centrally and close to the venue we were attending Room not prepared properly. Duvet had nail varnish stains and floor had nail clippings from a previous guest. No decaf tea bags provided and loo roll in short supply
- I7609WXdavidm (10/5): Perfect 👌🏻 - We went as a group of 48, from a Yorkshire rugby team. Food was brilliant, service impeccable.
Brilliant.
- chris (7/5): Fair - Most things. Room located above bar area. Early morning noise and evening too.

- U4979UNandreww (8/5): Good clean friendly hotel - Had a lovely stay at this old coaching inn, our room (8) was warm and cosy with old style furniture. Bathroom was modern and everywhere was spotless. The food was good pub standard food and plenty of it. Sarah at breakfast was really helpful and friendly. In the evening we had Jo to serve us who worked really hard and made us feel very welcome. In fact all the staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Towcester itself is pleasant enough but not a lot to do, the museum though was well worth a visit.
- Jack (10/5): Brilliant - Staff were super friendly, informative and appeared to be well organised. Breakfast room was well laid out and had good availability. Room was clean, spacious and had good facilites. Location is great in the middle of town. Wifi not the best but it was free so I can't complain
- Xavier (10/5): Perfecte - Centric Res
- 106candicee (10/5): A lovely meal out - We had a great meal out as a family this evening and an excellent service from Jo who was friendly, efficient , and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back and always enjoy eating out at The Saracens.
- Paul (10/5): Check in was faultless, room was great and breakfast excellent - Great location at the start of the town Car parking is a bit tight
- sharon (9/5): -
- Joan (9/5): A reliable place for a good sleep. - The beds were very comfortable and the room spotless. Nothing...except algorithms 😒Our room was initially advertised for £85...then £120...then later £114. I really do hate algorithms
- Ian (10/5): Attentive staff clean and spacious rooms excellent location for my work - Excellent stay without doubt highly recommended Perfect for my stay
- GrandTour00153426297 (10/5): Service and meal were super - Had a great meal late afternoon yesterday. Service from Caitlin and Jo was excellent 5*. Will be returning for some of the same. Thank you. Jim & Lorraine.😉
