• Denise (8/5): Ruhig und idyllisch gelegenes Hotel mit feinem Restaurant. - Sehr ruhig gelegen. Schön eingerichtet, sogar mit persönlicher Karte, Kaffeemaschine und Wasser.Ein kleines Geschenk gab es auch noch.Sehr feines Restaurant. Velos konnten sicher untergebracht werden. Zimmer war sehr klein. Sind aber versch. Grössen buchbar.

• Pio R. (7/5): Ein magischer Ort. Wir kommen wieder. - Wunderbare Anreise per Schiff. Wunderschöne Lage, sehr einfühlsam renoviert. Aber Achtung: Es ist ein ehemaliges Kloster, d.h. einfach und schlicht. Wer Luxus erwartet, ist da am falschen Ort. Der Ort lebt von der Lage und der reichen Geschichte, sowie vom netten Service. Essen war gut. Der weisse Wein von der Petersinsel sogar hervorragend. Die ganze Nacht über leider lauter Motorenlärm vom Bauernhof nebenan (Gebläse für Heu-Trocknung?) Schade, da es ein Ort der Stille sein sollte.

• Karin (6/5): Despite really enjoying our stay, the price differential left a bad taste and we won’t be returning. - Wonderful peaceful location, beautiful historical building, very friendly staff Paying 25% more than had I booked directly. The rooms are very basic and the extra I paid made it very bad value for money. And to add insult the hotel tried to charge us city tax on check out for which we had already been billed. Communication with the hotel before arrival was poor. They never replied to messages over the booking app and I was totally spammed, 10 automatically generated messages via text and WhatsApp.
• Leif (8/5): Mysigt hotell, men utan bilväg fram. - Historisk miljö. Trevlig personal. Ligger i ett lugnt naturvårdsområde utan trafik. Hotell St Petersinsel är ett äldre ombyggt tidigare Kloster. Vissa delar är bevarade men ombyggnader och renoveringar har gjorts, så det finns egen dusch och toalett på många rum. Lite knarrande trappor och gamla bevarade trägolv finns dock kvar och ger en gemytlig känsla till hela upplevelsen. Hit kommer inte så många internationella gäster, när jag frågar i receptionen. All information, inklusive Menyn i restaurangen, finns bara på Tyska eller Franska, så vi har lite problem att förstå vad vi skall beställa. 😀 Personalen är dock mycket hjälpsamma och vissa pratar bra engelska. Att det i Bookins system inte framgår att det inte går att köra bil till Hotellet. INNAN MAN BOKAR ETT RUM, behöver man dock vara helt klar över att hotellet ligger på en Ö, Insel, Island. Man får INTE ta med sig bilen, utan behöver åka färja, Taxibåt, eller gå en lång promenad. Ca 1 timma eller 4,5 km. (Det finns en liten bro.) Detta hade vi missat och fick en rejäl överraskning. Vi hade dock våra vandringsryggsäckar i bilen, så vi packade om lite och gick sedan en långpromenad i fint väder. För övrigt en härlig men lite speciell upplevelse med god mat och bra sängar.

• Anne Sophie (9/5): Pour vivre sur une île (quasi) déserte.... - Vivre 3 jours dans un lieu chargé d'histoire dont l'architecture et le cadre sont magnifiques est un privilège. Arriver en bateau navette sur cette île si paisible interdite aux voitures est très réussi. Les indications pour stationner à Erlach étaient parfaites. Nous avons adoré pouvoir marcher autour du monastère-hôtel, la restauration (bien que très cher) était délicieuse et originale, des vins excellents, un service irréprochable, se baigner depuis le ponton dédié et avoir le lac quasi pour nous. Il faisait très chaud ce mois d'août et nous avons regretté ne pas avoir eu la proposition d'un ventilateur dans la chambre. Nous avons découvert leur existence au 3e jour. Nous avons aussi regretté qu'il n'y ait pas de location de vélo digne de ce nom. Les vélos en libre service fonctionnent avec une appli Suisse qui fait perdre beaucoup de temps. Pour les clients de l'hôtel il devrait y avoir de bons vélos. Et enfin la literie n'est pas top. Mais ces petits inconvénients sont surtout des axes d'améliorations car nous avons tout de même passé un merveilleux séjour.
• Karine (7/5): Un rapport qualité prix décevant - La bâtisse et son histoire La chambre spacieuse L’accueil pour notre petit chien La gentillesse du personnel Le rapport qualité prix : le prix d’un hôtel luxueux (1500CHF pour 4 avec le dîner) pour un équipement assez rudimentaire Le manque d’information et le prix de l’accès à l’hôtel (120CHF pour 4 personnes en mini bus de l’hôtel) alors qu’il suffirait de donner accès aux véhicules privés pour les résidents de l’hôtel. La présence de 3 mariages lors de notre venue dont l’un bruyant jusqu’à 1h du matin La qualité de la literie très moyenne La presqu’île est sympa mais sans charme particulier ni vue exceptionnelle

• Jo (7/5): Beautiful place but needs improvements - Location and nature are great. Peaceful no sound of engines and beautiful view and landscape. Arrival by boat. Food and room a bit disappointing ( too many flies). Needs flies swatters in the room or flies catcher UV device. Nothing against the cows around though😊
