• Hendrikus (8/5): Vier nachten Sari Dana Villas Sanur - De villas zijn ruim, de 'private pool' is heerlijk en de ligging van de huisjes is perfect... twee minuten wandelen naar de hoofdstraat vol met winkeltjes en restaurants en 5 minuten wandelen naar het strand. Fijne douche, klein keukentje en prima bed. De jongens die de villas beheren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Omdat we een late terugvlucht hadden konden we tot 17:00 uur in het huis blijven en dat was heel fijn. De villas zijn inmiddels wel wat gedateerd. Ze zouden wel een opfrisbeurt mogen krijgen. Maar voor ons was dat geen probleem omdat ze zo centraal maar toch rustig gelegen zijn. Ook de handdoeken mogen wel een keer vernieuwd worden want die krijgen ze niet helemaal meer fris en wit. Verder hebben we weer een aantal dagen genoten van de rust en privacy hier.
• Simon (8/5): Nice villas in a good location and friendly staff but be careful about which villa you stay in. - Nice location sunny outside area- good response from staff when we were faced with a problem of very noisy neighbours and they moved us to a quieter location Noisy neighbours and the fact that all the villas had shared roof and walls which the noise easily transversed - the fact that there were empty villa enabled us to move location

Posizionata in zona tranquilla a due passi dal mare e vicinissima alla via principale con ristoranti e negozi di ogni genere. Poco insonorizzata, se i vicini fanno molto rumore si sente attraverso la parete

• Katarzyna (8/5): - Niezła willa w dobrej lokalizacji. Warunki jak dla mnie całkiem dobre. Czuję się swobodę, a sąsiadów prawie nie widuje. Do ulicy ze sklepami i jedzeniem 5 minut. Do plaży jakieś 10 - 15 minut w zależności od tempa. Nie miałam aż tak dużego kontaktu z obsługą ale mogłoby być ciuuut lepiej...Po przyjeździe pierwsze co usłyszałam i w sumie ostatnie...to "paszport poproszę" ... żadnego przyjaznego przywitania... takiej choćby małej otoczki 😀

The bed was uncomfortable and loud with the slightest movement. I was also charged an excessive amount of IDR 200,000 for a single broken plate.

• Penelope (7/5): Good position, lovely room, lovely pool, lovely staff just could do with a bit more attention. - Good location, generous rooms, comfortable bed While overall it looks good and was good….it just wasn’t excellent. We noticed that there was dirt in some corners of the rooms, even after housekeeping had been in, it was still there. There were cobwebs around the bathroom vanity. I put a bag on the vanity shelf and when I pulled it out there was a huge cobweb on it. The handheld part of the shower worked one day and then never did again. The bath towels were a bit old and scratchy. There was nothing to explain how the TV worked. It seemed like there was no Netflix .

• Jason (6/5): A little dated, nice to have a pool to cool off, great location to beach and places to eat - The place is decent, really close to the beach and some wonderful places to eat. The room was cleaned daily as was the pool (although we did need to point things out that needed cleaning) The property is a bit dated and could benefit from an update, but it was still a pleasant place to stay. We did encounter a few minor issues. We observed a rat emerge from the pool hose during cleaning, and there were some cockroaches present under the cabinet and a few in the kitchen area (they appeared to be deceased or very good at pretending). These issues weren't a major concern for us. The bed was comfortable, though I wasn't fond of the platform it was on. It wasn't ideal for the shins, but I did appreciate it for storage. The washroom and shower were a bit worn but adequate. The staff were young and seemed somewhat disinterested at times, but they were always helpful and tried their best. After a few days, we noticed the couch pillows were covered in black mold, and we requested they be cleaned or replaced. So this place is not that bad but it's not a hotel, it has a few rough edges but you have a great location off the main road.

The villa was enjoyable, especially the walled environment with a private pool, and the entrance was quaint and enchanting. The hosts were friendly and entertaining, with professional excellence.

• Michael (9/5): Very large and spacious rooms with a good size pool. Vert quiet and private, we would stay again. - Good lacation, a six minute walk to the beach. There is a great coffee shop that's three minutes away. There is asupermarket accross the road from the coffee shop, which has most things at reasonable prices. As others have mentioned, the road does fllod if there is heavy rain. On a positive note the whole road was resealed and raised while we were there, so I would think this situation is now improved slightly. Cars and bikes can still access the road and we just walked through it but it's about ankle deep in places and it clears quickly.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Barking dog fairly consistent at night. No smart tv, but upside we got out more.

• Jackie (9/5): Hidden Paradise - Someone was in the office at all times for anything needed by guests. Always helping with bags etc. easy walk to main st of Sanur and close to some really good warungs. The beds were too low and this caused problems with our backs & knees. And the bed had a big platform which is at shin height and you always hit it.

• John (8/5): We had wonderful relaxed 8 day stay at Sari Dana Villas - Villa is excellent spacious with its own pool in central location in Sanur. The area is very quiet and set back slightly from main street but a quick walk to cafes restaurants and the beach The decor and styling of the villa is excellent, the bed and linen are however quite old and it would be wonderful to see an upgrade of these in the future

I had to book last minute as my previous booking advised on my arrival day that they couldn't accommodate me. What a lucky break! Bed linen was clean but a little stained ... might be time to replace.

• Frank (9/5): Private Oasis Central to Sanur - The villa had everything that we expected it to have. The bed was good to sleep on. It had a kitchenette, allowing us to cook meals when we needed to. Location, The villa is a 4 minute walk to jl tamblingan, so very central to shops, warungs, spas, etc. An extra 3 minute walk places you on the beach. For us, the best part was having a private pool, and it was nice and private, unlike many other villa's with pools having neighbouring 2 and 3 story buildings with windows and balconies on top of you. The pool temperature for us was excellent, shallow one end and chest deep the other end which suited our needs. Great layout with most of the villa facing the pool cladded in glass. We believe it was good value for money and certainly will be staying here again on our next trip to Sanur. Also, for those coffee snobs out there like me, there is a 5 star coffee shop, Seta coffee, only 3 minutes, 35 seconds walk away, very handy indeed. Staff were very helpful. Good communication with the manager once contacted through whatsapp. Nothing to dislike.

The bed was terrible. Had to pay $20000 for water not supplied Could hear next door through the walls & noise from bikes & dogs up and down the lane beside the villa. No kitchen utensils Check out was 12 & was asked to leave at 10am so could clean the room.

• Julie (6/5): You get what you pay for - Very basic villa, but to be expected with the price you pay. Extremely uncomfortable traditional style chair - villa could benefit from a comfortable lounge! Bed was okay. Pool was fine, but pool area was drab with dreary walls. Would I stay again? No. Location was fab and just a short walk to the Main Street, although not walkable when raining as the lanes flood.

It was in a quite mostly residential neighbourhood only a short walk to restaurants, shopping, laundry services, etc. The beach was only about a 10 minute walk. Everything was very convenient. It matched the pictures very well. The mattress could be better, but was not terrible..
