Velmi přátelský hostitel Marco, který plynně hovoří anglicky a poskytl nám mnoho užitečných tipů na cestování v okolí (pláže, památky, restaurace). Celkově jedno z nejhezčích ubytování, které jsme měli možnost navštívit. Pokud chcete objevovat nejpěknější pláže a další zajímavá místa v okolí, je potřeba auto, ale s tím jsme počítali. Für uns war das vom ersten Augenblick an stimmig und erholsam. Rundum ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt.

- Michael (10/5): Charming and luxurious property with an extremely helpful and welcoming host! - A truly exceptional place and host. The property is situated in a grand old house that has very recently been renovated, effortlessly combining modern facilities with "old world" charm. The property is placed on top of a hill, which comes with excellent views of the sea and mountains. Beds were very comfortable and the the entire apartment was impeccably clean on our arrival. Modern and well stocked and equipped kitchen. Three bathrooms all with large and powerful showers. The air con is effective and each room has its own temperature control. Marco was extremely helpful; genuinely concerned that we enjoyed our stay. He could not have done more to ensure that we had a good time. He drove us to the supermarket to do our shopping the day after we arrived, ordered us something that we needed from Amazon which we had forgotten to bring with us and organised our taxi to the airport for us. Marco is also very knowledge about the history of the property (which was built by his great grandfather in 1851!) and the history of Follonica, which I enjoyed hearing about. We look forward to returning next year! Nothing at all.
- Julia (10/5): Bester Urlaub, den wir je hatten! - Es ist ein absoluter Traum! Die Unterkunft entspricht gehobenem Standard! Das Haus ist neu saniert. Die gesamte Einrichtung und das Gebäude sind sehr hochwertig und gut durchdacht. Es ist genau das richtige Maß: von nichts zu viel, von nichts zu wenig. Alle Räume verfügen über sehr gut funktionierende Klimaanlagen, die man eigentlich selten benötigt, weil die dicken Wände das Haus angenehm kühl halten und die typisch italienischen Fensterläden das immer schöne Wetter auch draußen lassen können. Die schönen aufgearbeiteten massiven Möbel werden gepaart mit einer modernen Küche (perfekt ausgestattet mit allem Interieur + Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine), modernen, sehr bequemen Betten und ausgewählter Kunst. Das Gewölbe und der offene, große Wohnbereich schaffen herrliche Leichtigkeit und Licht. Es war supersauber-alles war da von Handtüchern und Seife über Waschmittel und Spültabs. Das Alte und das Neue vereinen sich hier äußerst stilvoll und es zeigt, dass hier viel Liebe am Werk war. Das Haus liegt auf einem kleinen Berg. Das birgt zwei unschlagbare Vorteile: unvergleichlicher Panoramablick aufs Meer und herrliche Ruhe vorm touristischen Treiben unten. Man kann auf der Terrasse (jedes Apartment verfügt über eine eigene kleine Terrasse draußen) herrlich entspannen und übers Meer schauen. Dennoch sind es nur 10 Gehminuten zum Strand und kurze Wege zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Schöne und authentische Restaurants finden sich in der City. In der Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten für freie Standbesuche in Naturschutzgebieten, wenn man wie wir die typisch italienischen Bagnos nicht so mag. Tagesausflüge bspw. nach Pisa, Sienna oder Grosetto (Hauptstadt der Maremma) sind prima umzusetzen. Alles wäre nicht halb so toll für uns gewesen, hätten wir nicht on top einen wunderbaren Gastgeber mit seiner Familie erlebt: super freundlich, warmherzig und einfach einzigartig! Wir haben uns so willkommen gefühlt! Jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt!

And great hosts who replied to all our questions. Definitely recommend. Just a small thing. It will be nice to have salt, pepper and some oil in the kitchen. Everything else is great.
