The listing fails to mention an additional $35 fee for so-called insurance on a platform called TRUVI.COM. You only realize this after you have already paid. Subsequently, you are required to sign a supposed rental contract; however, after they send it to you and you sign it, someone calls to claim that the signed document was never received and that you therefore cannot access the property. After that, they stop responding entirely, and you miss your scheduled check-in time. When you attempt to file a claim to recover your money or gain access to the accommodation, someone calls you and makes threats regarding your personal and financial information. I had to report the incident to the county police and to Booking.com due to the dangerous nature of the situation. In the end, I was left stranded on the street and had to find an emergency hotel. PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION. NO RENTARLO ANTES DE LEER ESTO, eso es una estafa, no dicen en el anuncio que hay un cargo adiccional de 35 dolares de un supuesto seguro en una plataforma que se llama TRUVI.COM. te das cuenta despues que has pagado, luego tienes que firmar un supuesto contrato de alquiler que luego que te lo envian y tu lo firmas te llama alguien y dice que no llego el documento firmado y que no puedes acceder a la propiedad, despues de eso no te responden mas y pierdes la hora de hacer el check-in. cuando haces el reclamo por tu dinero o por el acceso al alojamiento entonces te llama una persona haciendote amenazas sobre tu informacion personal y financiera. tuve que dar parte a la policia del condado y a booking.com por lo peligrosa de la situacion. al final quede tirado en la calle y debi conseguir un hotel de emergencia. MUCHO CUIDADO

Never recommend booking.com - Nothing My family including 4 year old baby boy suffered a lot ,There is no hot water , couldn’t sleep at night because full of rats at night . I would like to add a video recording as an evidence but there is no option for upload a video
• Lorenzo (4/5): Not bad the 1st week and a half, but the second week and a half was awful!. - Affordability. My family and I stayed 3 weeks, the first week and a half the stay wasn't bad. Not as clean as I would have liked it but ok. For The entire last week and a half I was without heat and hot water!!!!!!! I contacted the company and they kept saying that there no issues and that they will send someone, also alluding to o if I mangled with the controls or fuse box . I was appauled. They also stated that I can leave and I can be reimbursed for the day I have left never a refund for my stay without heat and hot water. They also said that they have another place down in Perth Amboy which is miles away from where we were!!! Days into the issue it was some kind of sewage issue backing up and flooding the entire basement and conjoining houses. We had to adapt and wash elsewhere. If wasn't for me waiting for my new apartment to be completed, I would have left the second week I stayed!! Over all I feel that the conditions out wayed the stay and I give a low score feeling I lost a great deal.

• Farai (4/5): What’s important is i got a place to lay my head at night. - It is really spacious with working AC which was really good in the hot weather. They could do better on the cleaning. There was a lot of dust, food stains on the floor.
• Wendy (1/5): No hot water and rats in the apartment - The location was great . Close to amenities When i booked i did not realize i needed accommodation a night before aswell so my friend booked us in under his account in the same apartment for a night before my booking was to kick in . The cleaning lady came the next morning but did not change the bedding or clean the bathroom, when i reached out to the owner that was no hot water the sheets were not changed he was so rude and called me manipulative and told me to cancel and leave if I did not like the place. He said this knowing full well I would not get a refund . I asked him to please fix the hot water and change the sheets but the whole 10 days we stayed there this was not done . There are rats running up and down in the apartment .I was very very sad that Even booking.com customer service did not do enough to intervene and get us some hot water and clean sheets.
• Rami95rf (5/5): Passable - The internet was very good, good grocery store around, and it was a self check in/out. The ACs are installed on the windows and a little bit hard to adjust them on neither cold nor hot! So kept switching on and off to maintain good temperature. The location isn't perfect, especially if you are going to NY, either you walk over 30 minutes to the direct bus or take another bus which you may wait over 20 minutes. Also, you hear literally anything outside like it's inside the house! And it could be cleaner, it wasn't bad but it should be cleaned better next time. I saw something moving in the other room I honestly didn't know if it was a mouse or a big cockroach on the first day as it was dark so I have just closed the other room to not deal with it. Lastly when you check out you are asked to clean the dishes and don't leave anything in the fridge which is okay but usually as this is booking not Airbnb you expect that would be up to you to do so! Which I would do but not as a check out instructions. But it's good for it's price...
