• Darren (5/5): Requires improvement. - Very close to the historic centre. Lovely old building with plenty of character. Shabby room, fixture and fittings well beyond their best and smelt of stale cigarette smoke. Bedding and towels had holes and stains. Room was dirty, lots of dust.

• esmeralda (7/5): mooi slapend Italië - het ontbijt was voortreffelijk !taartjes ,vers fruit ,gekookt koud eitje , mozarella balletje tomaat , olijfolie , 2 soorten vleeswaren ham en nog een soort rauwe ham , kaas , toetjes de accommodatie bestaat uit verschillende kamers te bereiken met een trap ,geen klooster idee maar meer aparte vertrekken .het is schoon en ziet er netjes uit , in kamer 111 was de wifi niet zo goed en werkte de airco minder. in 204 hadden we een lekkage van het dak , heb je geen last van als het niet regent :-)(maar dat deed het dus wel) en 205 was heel ruim ,gianni was heel aardig en wees ons naar de hoogtepunten van puglia , voor medio mei is er weinig activiteit bij het strand ,ook op de pleinen niet veel , openingstijden winkels en restaurants in de middag zeer nihil open pas om 19u en niet eerder gaan er restuarant's en bar's open ,hou hier rekening mee als je voor medio mei boekt ,het hotel zou een zit drink gelegenheid niet misstaan ,kan prima ,en zal ook wellicht zo zijn in het hoogseizoen . in de avond leven de steegjes meer met mooie lichtjes ,deze zijn de hele nacht aan zodat je niet in het donker loopt wifi op 111 lekkage op 204 drink gelegenheid bij het hotel zou fijn zijn wees bedacht op flinke steile trappen , niet voor mensen met slechte knieen

Personne pour nous accueillir clés dans une boîte à clé mais nous avions reçu un message sur whatsapp avec une photo, si nous n’avions pas eu wattsap comment aurions nous fait?

Petite cour intérieure agréable pour prendre le petit déjeuner (croissants, toasts, fruits, gâteaux, fromage, jambon…). Chambre correcte équipée avec juste ce qu’il faut. Service de nettoyage quotidien. Revoir le choix des oreillers (trop larges et trop fermes pour nous). Clim un peu bruyante et parfois un peu flaiblarde.

• Dieter (9/5): In der Design-Falle - Historisches Gebäude aufwändig restauriert. Sehr gute Lage mitten in der Fußgängerzone und um die Ecke zum Corso mit seiner aufwändigen Lichtinstallation. Sehr gutes umfangreiches Frühstück. Und es gibt gegenüber kostenlose Parkplätze. Typisches Beispiel für „gefangen in der Design-Falle“. Unser Zimmer im Souterrain hatte kaum Tageslicht, dafür aber eine Whirlpool-Wanne für zwei. Und die an der Wand befestigten Bett-Kopfteile sehen sehr schick aus, sind aber im Gebrauch untauglich, zB zum Lesen im Bett.

• Miguel (2/5): Esto no es un hotel de 4 estrellas - el desayuno normal y la ubicación bien, eso es todo. El pueblo estaba de fiestas y fue agradable por la noche, pero si no hay esas fiestas no hay mucho que ver. Esto no es un hotel de 4 estrellas, es como mucho de dos. la calidad de la habitacion y los servicios del hotel tienen mucho que decear. Las fotos engañan y pagar casi 300€ por noche por esa habitacion es un robo. Lo acepto si es por demanda por las fiestas pero que no digan que es un hotel de 4 estrellas.

• John (9/5): Looking forward to visiting again! - This was a beautiful property well situated for exploring Carovigno but also as a base to explore other areas of Puglia by car. Gianni and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The perfect weather allowed us to enjoy an excellent breakfast in the courtyard every day of our stay. There are ample restaurant choices all within short walking distance from the property. As mentioned in other reviews parking is available on the street so your proximity to the property is ‘the luck of the draw’. The smaller the car the better in navigating the narrow streets of Carovigno.

• Jessica (5/5): Nice building, but check booking. - The main building is pleasant with a good breakfast, and in a good location. But you may not get a room in the main building - rooms in the secondary accommodation have little light and poor design, so ensure you get the room you booked. Danger of getting a different, inferior room to the one you booked. I booked a pretty room in the main building - but was given a lesser one in a different building with a 'jailhouse' window I could not see out of. I was told this was the only one left. Beware.

• Mikey (9/5): Excellent boutique hotel just off the center of the lovely town of Carovigno - A lovely quite place in the style of a family owned and operated boutique hotel. Run by the friendly and efficient Gianie and his lovely partner in the kitchen. Excellent location beside the castle right in the center of the lovely town Carovigno seconds from the main piazza. This hotel is a mix of modern rooms and apartments in or close to the main building facility and breakfast room. Nothing really but parking is on the street away from the hotel but is free in most areas around the hotel. Apartments are away from the main facility/reception but that is a positive too.
• Carla (9/5): Amazing and relaxed - The location was super, right in the center with restaraunts and bars within walking distance. The room/apartment was spacious and very clean (every day). Breakfast was excellent. The town is quiet with few tourists. We rented a car through the hotel from a car company nearby. That was all very well arranged. With the car we visited many cities, so for us an amazing vacation in Pulgia. And after a long day it was relaxing to arrive back at the hotel. We were surprised that the hotel was closed in the afternoon, so had to wait a few hours for the room key. It is also indicated, but when you come from the airport (with suitcases), the waiting time is long. You can't temporarily store them somewhere.

Breakfast was great, my favourite is always homemade cakes n Cornettis. Would prefer hot hard boiled eggs instead of cold one but no big deal. Hosts were very professional and made our stay comfortable.

Clean and tidy room, the garden is nice and cute. For the price we paid, the quality has greatly exceeded the price. Highly recommended!

Very accessible to the town so we were able to amble along the quaint streets. Room very spacious and breakfast was superb with a good choice and well presented. Water pressure for our room was a little poor .

Highly recommended! - The staff is friendly and attentive, the room was clean, and the style is rustic and traditional with high sealing and the breakfast is very nice! They bake their own cakes, and there is a buffet so you can choose your breakfast. The B&B is located beside the castle of Carovigno and we suggest to have a walk around the castle and town centre whiich is beautiful. A short drive from Carovigno to Ostuni 10/15 minutes. A little expensive considering that in the €77 it wasn't included the breakfast, which we added for €13 (6.50 each). But anyway it was worth because the buffet is exquisite!

The room was comfortable with a small balcony , breakfast was very good. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful. 5 minutes walk to the main square in the old town, lots of good restaurants and bars. Dozens of great sandy beaches within 30 mins drive, 10 mins drive to the stunning hilltop town of Ostuni. Very good location for exploring the Puglia area. Nothing

The location of the hotel is close to Ostoni and other places so we could have a peek there in the evening. The room was spacious, very cozy and beautifully decorated. The shower was spacious. We got exactly what we asked for when we placed the order. The breakfast was excellent! Varied and delicious! Satisfied us throughout the day. We could choose to eat inside the hotel or outside and watch the view of the entrance of a historic building, really charming. highly recommend. Unfortunately we didn’t liked the level of cleanliness- on the surface it was very clean but when we moved the bed (because the mattress was a little far from the wall) we discovered a bottle cap and in the shower we found one long black hair. Despite this, we still recommend this hotel.
