Guest Reviews
- Iljeet Singh (1/5): I will say to owner if you can’t sleep on that mattress that don’t think the guest you pays you can sleep on it - Size of bathroom is good nothing else Hard Mattress , smell in the house , full day loud music coming from the bar downstairs
Not recommend to any one
- Mapo (8/5): Cerca de Manchester - Muy limpio. Cerca de bares /restaurantes y supermercado. Muy cerca de transporte público.
Camas comodas.
- darren (6/5): - Location for food and city centre Location was ok although above a busy restaurant/ bar
Noise like the speakers was in the apartment from about 0830am till 22.30hrs
- James (9/5): - Good location cheap parking looks a bit rough walking in on entrance decent inside great price plenty of bars and pubs and shops nearby can hear music from downstairs but not that bad and stops after night £10 uber to city center
- Donna (7/5): - Location is fantastic if you want a night or 2 in Monton, a little noisy as above a bar but we weren't too fussed as it was too be expected.
It was good value for money
- Jack (10/5): - Lovely apartment, good facilities and great hosts who were very accommodating Only tiny downside was noise from the downstairs bar but didn’t hamper an otherwise brilliant stay
- Angela (10/5): -
- Chris (8/5): - Great size and in a convenient area Loud music from bar and cafe next door and downstairs. Bed mattress were very soft leading to few sore backs and some floorboards felt lose or uneven which nearly caused a few trips specifically the one beside the stairs going into the bathroom.

- Rebecca (8/5): We had a really great stay, would recommend. - The location was excellent. We were staying for the rugby at the community stadium which was easily accessible by bus. We didn't expect Monton to be such a great little highstreet with an excellent selection of bars, cafes and restaurants. It was quite noisy, but only because it was so close to the highstreet.
- Ranjit (8/5): -
- Claudia (5/5): - La ubicación esta muy bien. Se escucha la música del bar de abajo a todas horas.
La cocina no tiene microondas
- Kiera (10/5): -
- David (9/5): Superb - Location. Nice area.
The Value for money on a 2 bedroom apartment was amazing.
Short drive to United or the Trafford Centre. Very clean for a dog friendly place. You can hear music from the local bar. (Until 12.30 on Saturday night) But not a problem if you're in that bar. Or you sleep with sound cancelling earbuds, like me.
Not a deal breaker. Would still definitely recommend and use again.
- Jabu (9/5): Superb -
- Geri (1/5): Bad - It was awful on arrival, had not been cleaned, and still with dirty linen dog hair everywhere. No security light outside heating went down. We had our 8-year-old daughter with us. Luckily, my sister inlaw was up the road. We had to sleep on the sofa for the night .and get a hotel for our remaining stay was so upsetting 😡 I have been a long standing customer for many many years with yourselves I will also send you photographed evidence hoping to here from your customer service on this complaint
Regards
Geri

- Mcmeechan (7/5): Good - Really lovely little flat in a great location for shops and restaurants. The flat was noisy, neighbours were having a party until midnight with loud music and music from the bar downstairs could be heard on both nights.
- Kamila (8/5): Well-organized and clean apartment on the outskirts of the city - Cozy and clean apartment for a few nights. At first it was terribly cold but after turning on the heater situation was way better. Kitchen was well equipped. Although it was far from the city center we found a lot of public transport stations nearby (buses, trams and trains), there are also restaurants, shops and pubs. Be careful with the stairs. Bathroom doors didn't work properly, it was almost impossible to close and lock it. Good improvement would be to attach some hangers in the bathroom (for towels).
Kinda noisy in the evenings.
- Natasha (9/5): Lovely self contained accommodation perfect for a family or group comviently only one bus journey from the city centre - Beautiful decor and a lovely size spot in a nice location - really cheap parking across the road and all the shops, cafes and restaurants you could hope for No blind in the bathroom feels a little exposed
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohit (8/5): Would recommend 205! - The apartment was cosy and quite nice with all the amenities we needed. The shower room was the highlight with natural light. All the kitchen utensils were available to use. Overall the property was great value for money and had a pleasant experience staying at 205. Toiletries were not included which we had to buy our own, usually in many places they are included. The secondary sofa was not so comfortable to sit on. Other than those things I can't really fault the place.
- Joseph (8/5): Very good -
- Tony (7/5): Good - Nice spacious apartment in a good location for city Above bars and resturants so don't expect to sleep before 12
- Alex (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (6/5): Great location, but needs a little TLC and someone who is ok with steps! - The location was good and Monton village was nice. There are lots of lovely local shops like the bakery and the ice cream shop. It is also around a 15/20 minute drive from the centre of Manchester.
The beds were also super comfortable. The stairs leading up to the property were super steep and the steps within the property. Also some of the floor boards are very unstable, especially the one by the bathroom.
There was also no microwave, which was odd as the rest of the kitchen was very well equipped even having a blender.
Some of the decoration also needs touching up as there were patches where the green had come away to show the white wall underneath. The bathroom door is has also got some water damage and doesn't shut which was difficult as it meant having to hold it at times to use the bathroom in private.
The gate to get into the courtyard thats shared with the coffee shop underneath is also very difficult to close.
- Heather (8/5): Perfect place if you need to be in Monton. Everything is on your doorstep. -
- Steven (7/5): Nice accomodation but noisy at times inside - Accommodation was good overall.
Hosts quick to respond to queries. Was directly above bar that was playing music pretty loud during the day and night and this was reverberating around the flat. Outside noise from the street was minimal for such a busy location and was not a problem.
- Stuart (7/5): Great! Excellent value, up this way again in a couple of months will be booking again. - Nice large flat, good facilities. Good kitchen . Good heating and hot water. Nicely decorated. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Tesco express across the road, plenty of cheap parking, £4 all day! Free Sundays. Needs some lighting on external stairs.Alley way was scruffy, not owners fault.
- Gerardine (5/5): The area was great but feel that this property needs refreshing and is not value for money.Sorry . - No breakfast included. The location of this property was the best thing about it and the fact we could bring our two Yorkshire terriers.
The oven ,tops, toilet and bathroom clean although there is a large crack in washbasin. When we arrived the property was cold Not a problem in itself but when we turned on heater....didn't build Contacted the owner who said it was ok etc. Check pressure .To cut a long story short and a few texts with owner Luke's partner said heating takes about 20 minutes. In fact heating takes well over an hour 15 mins to warm. This must be costing owners money.Luke said he would send engineer but this didn't happen so just had to work with it.When it did heat finally was efficient.
Exterior door dodgy.Hard to close Not aligning with frame Notices other reviews mentioned this.It needs attention.
We feel there should be an exterior light at foot of stairs and another by front door at top of stairs It is really dark going in at night. There is a door light at front door but it doesn't work. This is a safety issue and quite important.
All the decor a little tired. The black and white rug turning up at corners grubby and a trip hazard.
The green sofa very uncomfortable ...when we readjusted cover realised it's because huge hole and foam and wood of frame exposed. The right hand arm was very loose
One of the black metal chairs is coming apart and not usable.
Two big plastic trays of dirty linen were taking up space in the wardrobe. Not very nice.
The floor in the main room is seriously unlevel and bouncy in at least three areas and needs attention.
The shower is poor and have noticed other reviews have mentioned this so not sure why it hasn't been changed .
There are two very steep steps up to main room from kitchen to living room and from living room to bathroom. While not much can be done about this we feel it should be mentioned in description as this could be real hazard for elderly, disabled, possibly children.
The biggest drawback was the outside stairs to the private entrance There are 17 steps and it is a metal open staircase. The property only lists a private entrance.
- Anne (6/5): Pleasant -
- Luke (10/5): Very good, thank you very much -
- Gita (10/5): Great stay! -
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pa (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): Lovely little apartment - It was lovely, nice space and very nicely laid out, loved it .
- Mike (8/5): Very good -
- Carine (8/5): Very good -
- Katrina (8/5): Very good - Apartment was clean an great for our trip had everything we needed
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gemma (9/5): Would definitely sleep again just with a fan - Everything was clean and tidy. Exter towels pillows things where easy to find.great and clear instructions on finding the property and getting in to it Really could do with a fan or 2 as it was way to warm and windows don't open to wide
- Kim (9/5): Amazing stay - We liked the fact that everything was catered for. Everywhere was clean and tidy. Laundrey was included, even had tea, coffee and sugar.
Bed was really comfortable and plenty of room in wardrobes/drawers. Really spacious appartment with everything you could ask for. Would definitely use again when we visit Manchester. There was nothing we didn't like. The stairs were a little slippery as it had been raining, but thats a very small issue
- Munir (7/5): Good -
- Luabita (8/5): Basic stay - It was difficult to find the place based on the onformations given and the internet did not connect.
- Barker (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharifa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Shabna (3/5): The access was horrible - The interior of the property was ok The access to the property was horrible
- Rachel (8/5): Lots of local amenities close by; clean and spacious. - Nice, clean accommodation with everything I required. Good location for what I required and lots of amenities nearby, plus lots of options for food and drinks on the doorstep. Comfortable bed, spacious and well presented. Lots of clean towels and bedding available and nice to have a little kitchen area. Good communication from the owners with clear instructions to direct me how to access the property. The property itself was lovely but it is on a busy road and therefore there’s quite a bit of noise from passing traffic and nearby hospitality venues. It didn’t affect me too much other than early morning traffic. I would recommend that the door to access the properly is looked at; although there was no issue unlocking it from the outside, we experienced real problems unlocking it to get access out of the property - the locking mechanism was very difficult to unlock and I found myself panicking the first time it happened after trying to unlock it for over 10 minutes.
Not an issue with the property itself but just be aware that the public car park doesn’t allow you to pay for 24hrs so you do have to return at 8am the next morning to get another ticket - a bit of a pain when you’re not getting up early.
- Martina (8/5): A nice little apartment, conveniently located. Spacious enough for 4 adults. - Easy to find, with plenty of amenities nearby, convenient cheap parking around the corner The metal stairs to the property, slippery when wet
- Grace (4/5): Disappointing - It's was a good location and nice and clean etc. The door lock was dodgy on the inside. And after a scary encounter we got it to reopen..we were too scared to lock it again as it's looks a fire hazard with no other way to escape.i told the hosts who the following day just thanked us for letting them know and didn't try to help us. So we barely slept worried as the front door was not locked
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abbie (10/5): Had a great time at this cracking place, in a wonderful location. Will definitely stay here again! - The property was amazing! Super spacious, comfy beds lots of space and decent sized rooms. All the facilities were great and the location was fabulous, loads of bars, cafes and shops around. No microwave but that’s the absolute only thing that we could draw on as a negative
- Oyebunmi (7/5): Good - Noise of the pub
- Taylor (10/5): Had a great time. - Location was great, close to public trasport, lots of restaurants. Also very cheap 24 hour parking was close by. Communication with the hosts was quick and easy too. The email informing us of the lockbox code only arrived after we had checked out, we had to call the owners. This may have just been an issue with booking.com rather than the property though.
- Alex (9/5): A lovely location and stay, perfect for a visit to Manchester. - A little out of town if you’re visiting Manchester but I enjoyed the direct bus to/from the location, plus surrounding area was lovely to explore! I just happened to be in a moon boot with heavy luggage so the steep stairs were difficult to manage.
- Craig (8/5): Very good - Great location, good communication with tea and coffee in the kitchen..plenty of bedding available. Property has a two pet 🐕 policy which was great n' able to use BT hotspot as WiFi - Helpful advice about parking over the road from the apartment and a useful guide/manual with facilities when we checked in, thanks.. Nothing. I would stay here again.
- Michael (7/5): Good - Reasonable price and close to Manchester. Very noisy until about midnight, from bar below.
- Bishop (7/5): Good - Convenient Shower was unusable too low
Noise from the bar below
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - Great location. Comfy beds. Spacious. Clean. Nice decor - love the zebra! Uncomfortable sofas. A microwave would have been useful.
- Boyle (8/5): Very good -
- Bakovic (9/5): The apartment was clean with enough space for three girls. The Location is great, excellent street, it has everything yo - The apartment was clean noise from the street
- Colm (2/5): Very poor - The noise was a disgrace from the bar below, half a roll of toilet paper, hair both head and body in shower, sinks, beds entrance is basically walking on the roof the the bar below.
- Anonymous (9/5): very happy overall - nice comfy and clean noisy with club below and no Curtain in bathroom
- Lawrence (10/5): great flat in a great area. Hope to be back in the future. - had everything you would need. Clean and tidy and in an area that felt safe. although we didn’t need anything, the Hosts seemed to want to help which was nice. beds were a bit uncomfortable and the Wi-Fi was a bit slow but nothing major.
- Kirkbride (8/5): Great base. - The cleanliness of the apartment and the location was excellent. Nothing to dislike. The metal stairs coming up from the lane were a little dark, so needed to be lit up, but other than that everything was good. The lamp shade in the bedroom was broken, but nothing that impeded our stay.
- Kutsira (5/5): Passable - Kitchenware No microwave in the kitchen
- Sebastian (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): excellent - love most things about the property host should get a cooking pot for the apartment
- Vanda (4/5): Disappointing - Kitchen and toilet The curtains are not blackout, too much light, music until late, and early in the morning, the toilet paper is almost gone, no reserve of toilet paper, access to the house is horrible, with the rain the stairs become slippery, They should put a photo of how you have access to the house and a sensor light, to be able to access the gate code.
- Ryan (1/5): Bad -
- Suzanne (5/5): Ok. - Excellent position. This was a new rental and you could tell. No blinds in the bathroom and the shower was over the window - the world got a view I am sure they didn't want. The main door wasn't finished properly (it rained through the wood) also no mirrors apart from one in the bathroom; how is a girl to get ready to go out? The heating broke but the owner sorted this out very quickly. In fact, I mentioned all the little issues to him, and he was happy with the feedback.
If all the little issues were sorted out I would stay again, it was clean, tidy and reasonably comfortable.
- Victoria (9/5): Wonderful location, well equipped flat that feels lovely and spacious. Great communication and very accommodating hosts - Perfect location and fantastic communication from the owners Only downside was steep steps inside from lounge to kitchen which were hard work with a very adventurous toddler!
- Rebecca (10/5): Fabulous stay in a great location. - Having moved to the north east after living in Manchester for 6/7 years. I knew I wanted to stay close to where I used to live. This place is perfect, a home from home.
I managed to get free parking on the side street just outside the apartment but there is cheap parking just over the road.
Jay and Luke were quick to answer their messages, I didn't have any questions or any faults. There is a handy little guide in the apartment with everything you need for your stay.
It's perfectly located next to Worsley woods which is perfect for walking and close to a great variety of places to eat, drink and shop.
I would definitely stay again. I couldn't fault it.
- Dee (8/5): Very good -
