- Levi (8/5): Muito boa, voltarei mais vezes - No geral muito bom o local Fiquei no quarto privativo com banheiro e estava tudo limpo e organizado quando chegamos, vale totalmente o valor cobrado, tem cozinha compartilhada com todos eletrodomésticos mais usuais vi gente falando do ar condicionado, mas estava todos funcionando perfeitamente. Pontos para ajudar quem for ficar no local - A entrada do box do banheiro do quarto que fiquei era um pouco apertada, mas como sou magro, nao tive dificuldades, mas se você é um pouco mais gordo, barrigudo ou grávida, aconselho falar com a dona antes - o bairro é muito bom, porem dps das 21h a rua fica muito deserta, aconselho não chegar muito tarde andando do metrô, ainda sim estamos no Brasil, fique atento - A casa fica 650m da estação do metrô fica uns 10 minutos de caminhada ou menos - tem mercado, loja, bar tudo por perto - Outro ponto positivo é o gatinho que tem na residência, muito fofinho - Chegamos muito cedo na cidade, ai a dona deixou a gente fazer checkin mais cedo e no checkout permitiu que a gente deixar as malas guardadas ate a hora do nosso voô O local é exatamente como mostra nas fotos e a galera que trabalha lá super gente boa. A unica coisa que nao me agradou foi o fogão elétrico, modelo escolhido demorava muito para aquecer a panela, minha recomendação é q coloque outro, que a panela encoste direto na resistência, assim ira aquecer bem mais rápido,

- Izadora (8/5): No geral, foi uma estadia muito boa, com ótimo atendimento e ambiente agradável, mas com alguns pontos de melhoria em re - Gostei bastante da minha estadia no hostel. A estrutura é muito boa, principalmente por ter cozinha e outros espaços que deixaram tudo mais prático e confortável. As pessoas que dividiram o quarto com a gente também eram muito tranquilas, então o ambiente foi bem agradável. Quero destacar especialmente o atendimento da recepção, principalmente do Matheus, que foi extremamente atencioso, educado e prestativo com a gente do início ao fim da estadia. A localização é um pouco mais distante das praias e de alguns pontos turísticos, então acabamos precisando usar bastante Uber e moto Uber para nos locomover. Mas entendo que isso não é um problema do hostel, apenas algo para considerar dependendo do roteiro. Outro ponto que poderia melhorar é a limpeza do banheiro. Durante toda a nossa estadia, notamos duas baratas no local, e elas permaneceram lá até a nossa saída, sem que houvesse limpeza ou remoção.

- ALDAIR HI (10/5): Lugar agradable en barrio tranquilo - Me gustó mucho haber encontrado este lugar, tiene una estación de metro muy cerca la cual te hace conectar con todo Rio sin necesidad de usar taxi por aplicativo, las instalaciones y el personal fueron muy amables y atentos en todo momento, tanto al entrar como al salir del lugar y pude dormir cómodamente. Considero que todo estuvo bien y a la altura de lo que se ofrece, siempre debemos leer las instrucciones del lugar para luego no tener sorpresas.

Havia um problema no encanamento do banheiro que sempre vazava quando dava descarga (comuniquei e isso foi amenizado rapidamente), o quarto não tinha blecautes que barravam bem a luz, a cama e os travesseiros não pareciam tão limpos e foi bem desconfortável para dormir.

E o controle para a tv dificilmente funciona, conseguimos usar melhor com o celular, mas não foi um grande problema

- Ana Patricia (4/5): Denise foi muito educada e gentil, porém a limpeza deixou muito a desejar, acredito que não foi feita após a saída do hó - A Denise me recebeu com muita atenção e por não haver outro hóspede saindo, conseguiu atender minha solicitação de antecipação de check in de 14h para 11:40. Vi muitas avaliações boas sobre limpeza do local, mas não tive a mesma sorte. Minha impressão foi que o quarto na havia sido higienizado. Estava muito sujo. O banheiro foi o pior, havia uma barata morta, respingos de urina na borda e tampa do vaso, o box estava sujo e o tapete estava imundo. Logo que cheguei solicitei uma tolha para banho, no valor de R$ 20,00, e aí me enxugar havia cabelo na toalha. No quarto, a mesa de trabalho estava muito suja, o chão com a sensação de ter areia e paredes com traças.

- Ivan (6/5): It will suffice - What I liked the most about the property was how nice the owner was Denise, she was really nice person. It was close to the station Afonso Pena. If you’re not too picky the hostel will suffice. I felt like the bathrooms were never cleaned, at least the man’s one. I was there for 4 nights and it wasn’t cleaned properly just the thrash changed. The glass of the shower I think it was never scrubbed. The corner of the kitchen where is the thrash was really messy and smelly. The bunk bed where I stayed was too low and I was always hitting my back so it wasn’t good for a tall guy like me. I feel like I’m giving pointers where to get better and improve for the future.
- Lisa (8/5): Good! - It is well located. Close to the metro and supermarket. The staff is also nice and helpful. Beds are okay. The fridge is big enough and you can cook. There are three toilets and I never had to wait. It is also cleaned everyday. There wasn’t a kettle. No soap for the hands in the bathroom. The room wasn’t clean during my whole stay. It would be nice to have a bin in the dorm.

- Melissa (1/5): Alright.* - Staff are very accommodating. The common areas are good and airy. Easy to get around in the neighborhood. Having a mini fridge in the room was a big plus. Beds/pillows aren't the most comfortable, but for a short stay it was mostly fine. Had a small issue with ants in the room. *Edit: changing my original rating from a 7/10 to a 1/10 after I received a private message from the host following my review which they seem to have deemed too negative. I am preserving my original comments, which you can see weren't negative at all, except for a minor comment about the bed and bugs in the room. I even neglected to mention the fact that in the 2 nights that I stayed with them, I had to help the staff with another guest more than once because none of them spoke any English at all, which funnily enough caused some confusion because said guest thought that I actually worked for them since I was doing actual work that was supposed to be their job. And the host had the gall to act offended over the fact that I had anything negative to say about them at all in their "follow-up", because according to them they gave me a "bonus" by offering me a private room so as a woman I wouldn't have to stay alone with 3 men in a 4-bed dorm-room. So I guess the staff in reality aren't very accommodating at all unless you give them a 10/10 and don't say a single negative thing in your review. Concrit is out of the question and any "bonuses" you receive are more than likely on a quid pro quo basis. I also thought I shouldn't be overly negative in my original review of this property and decided not to mention the fact that one of their employees made me increasingly uncomfortable by not-so-subtly hitting on me to the point I had to keep mentioning I had a boyfriend waiting for me back home and I was not single. It is hard enough being a woman traveling alone without having to deal with such unprofessional behavior. What a shame.

- Julio (9/5): good place to stay in Rio downcity - everything I like there, the crew host is a polite and helpful people. the location is close to subway, the neighborhood is safety and always have some person walking and car riding too. thanks for all maden to support once again. Denise and your son are the hostel owner. nothing, the price is cheaper and there a good option to visit and tourist whom are visiting the Rio.

- Blanca (6/5): Pleasant - The staff was really friendly and the area was safe and quiet. It wasn't really clean. There were little bugs and ants all around. The beds weren't comfortable. Some of the lockers didn't close.
- Caoimhe (7/5): Pleasant stay, but it was not worth 61 reais - Friendly staff, especially Ricardo, bed was comfortable enough Terrible pillow and the AC is very old and loud (though it does the job). It was turned off at 6am or so. The four bed female dorm was very small.

- Berky (8/5): Decent hostel - Clean, enough space to put stuff and storage. The kitchen is well equipped. Even has an air fryer. The shower was ridiculously small and narrow. Hard to get in and out the shower. I saw cockroach came out if the drainage in the shower. The pillow has plastic wrapped inside. Not comfortable to sleep on plastic bag.
