- Lauren (10/5): The resort was better than we Maine’s. - Beautiful and peaceful. Felt like a luxury resort. A little far from town.

- Farah (9/5): A lovely stay in the hills - Since this is our second time, we decided to try the smaller studio instead of the 1-BR residence. The size of the studio is perfect - about the size of an average Asian hotel room. It’s simply furnished and comfortable. We loved that it is slightly further away from the hotel side so it’s generally quieter but just a hop from the breakfast and dinner restaurants.
The restaurant staff are amazing as usual, especially the ones having to deal with mad hungry crowds at breakfast. The dinner restaurant staff, esp the male team leader who speaks well, was amazing and energetic - helping my husband navigate his allergies and dietary restrictions. It was disappointing not to be able to cast our screens to the tv or connect the tv to Netflix etc- even though the technician tried, we realized the tv itself had no internet connection. Thankfully we spent most of the time reading but it would have been a nice option.
- Utoomporn (2/5): Very poor -
- Napatsawan (9/5): Superb -
- Lai (8/5): A quiet and nice place for a short escape - The overall natural environment , infinity pool Not clean and facilities look a little dated, not looking like 20 yrs old but 30+
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Natapol (4/5): Need to fix some equipment. Really disappointed this time. Used to be really good but cannot maintain the good status. - It’s used to be my preferred list when have a meeting in Chiang Mai for many years. A/C was not well maintenance, not in the
Good condition, didn't check. Last night AC had problem with 27 C for 2 hours, then technician came to fixed. It was good for another 2 hours, then in the midnight AC was 27-28 celcius for whole night
With super humid inside the room.
- T5bkk71 (9/5): Lovely resort in the mountains - Beautiful resort in mountain setting. Most of all, great service; everyone was very helpful and kind. Loved the breakfast and food at the "Higher Room." The room was nice and spacious with a big comfortable bed. The fitness center was spacious, with a good amount of equipment than most hotels or resorts I've been to. The only treadmill in the fitness center was getting dated. Also needs some sort of blinds at the treadmill bicycle area for the afternoon. It got really hot in this current hot weather even with air conditioning.

All staffs are very kind and gentle, restaurant in Hotel is very cozy and lovely. I had the best coconut water there too:-) Every activities are too costy and you need to over pay for taxi to come back to the city centre.
You paid like 250-300 for getting there(including tips and so since it's over the mountain) but need to pay 600 for coming back to the city.
- Jessica (10/5): Beautiful place - It’s much nicer than it looks in the photos! Very fancy place. Beautiful gardens, multiple pools, mountain views. Two restaurants, one for breakfast, one for dinner. The room was exceptional with a large tub, comfortable bed, shower, and of course the views! They even drive you to your room in a golf cart. Hotel taxi is available and grab also works in the area. Expensive restaurant and no other options

- guygourley (10/5): Fantastic Experience so close to Chiang Mai city - Only about 20 km from central Chiang Mai, you find yourself in an oasis of luxury and greenery. The Veranda offers extraordinary service, from check in to dining to the spa. The balcony of our room overlooked the tea plants, plus a view into the mountains. The infinity pool also provides a dramatic view into the surrounding hills, while having one of the signature drinks as you relax. The spa was sooo relaxing. With a private "cottage" approach, there was privacy while still enjoying the open sky. I really enjoyed the steam shower, something new to me, while the sunken tub was luxurious in which to just be unperturbed. I understand the lotions used are derived from the staff, and I have to say the scents and feel were quite delightful. I had some tightness in my shoulders and lower back, and my masseuse was quite adept at rubbing those spots until I was relaxed.
If you are looking for a unique place to enjoy yourselves, then I highly recommend the Veranda. This is not a location for evening dancing, rather a spot to fully relax and feel pampered. With beautiful cuisine preparations, soothing spa massage, and an enjoyable evening swim in the pool, you will restore your inner energies! It is even a photographic place, with many locations to take great photos! I'm already missing their specialty drinks!
Enjoy the clean and spacious room, 7small private pool, good services and relaxing environment。Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is good, we also had lunch in the cafe (good quality and taste). We had one dinner in their restaurant and that was ok too (food from cafe was better). Overall experience was very good.
- Azizalkhoori (8/5): Nice resort - I like this resort so much
Staff are kind and friendly
Lobby is open and nicely decorated
Room is so big with nice balcony opened to the garden
Having very very nice pool with very nice Mountain View
Having villas with private pools
Having some special activities inside the hotel like rice planting and some other farmers activities
Recommended for family and relax searcher
- lionclimbers (8/5): Gorgeous well-kept hotel on the outskirts of Chiang Mai - This property is super. It lies on the outskirts of Chiang Mai, which is about half an hour from the airport. It's quite simple to get to using Uber (about 300THB), and they make you feel special on checkin. They gave us a welcome drink and upgraded our room for free.
The room itself was impeccable and gorgeous. It was spacious, with beautiful lines and finishing. The concrete bathtub was absolutely enormous. I'm sure an entire family could fit in here. There was a decent fridge and a kettle. Pretty much all the rooms had nice views, and ours was superb, overlooking one of the infinity pools (there's 3 or 4 or them). The bed was enormous (twice the size of a queen), and the aircon was good, but slightly noisy.
The pools were very well kept, manicured with plants and the largest infinity pool on the 4th floor was spectacular. Looking out over the valley to the other side where an imposing temple is lighting up the sky at night. It wasn't very busy when we were there (springbreak in Canada), so we only had a few people to share the pool with during the evening, and none in the morning.
The included breakfast was stunning, and really quite excessive. The usual north american buffet style items were present such as eggs, sausages, bacon, hash browns, pastries, toast, yoghurt, etc. But there was also a wide variety of freshcut delicious fruit (papaya, pineapple, melons), delicious drinks, including an incredible orange juice that must have been made from those satsumo type fresh squeezed. Yummm! And tons of local Thai foods that I had never tasted before included strange pickled tofu, salted duck eggs, rice soup, pumpkin milk, deep fried sweet potato, etc.
The only downside is that this resort is well away from the city and quite isolated. We walked down the street to look for some food, and although there are a few small streetfood stalls, hardly anybody speaks english, and there are no nearby restaurants or sights within walking distance, although really, you just come to this place for its own merit.
- rosieandrocky (10/5): Two night stay - We stayed for tonight as a relaxing retreat before exploring Chiang mai.
The resort is beautiful, the grounds, the pool, buildings and the staff. Everything has been lovely and comfortable.
The restaurant is more expensive than general prices in Thailand but that is to be expected in a 5 star resort.
The only complaint I could say is the shower head in our room had very poor pressure and didn't stay hot.
Otherwise we wished we never had to leave!!
- Punthee (10/5): A break - We booked the room at the first floor so it's next to the pool like pool villa. The rooms were clean and still in good conditions and fit well with group or family. Very good Breakfast. It is High recommended.
- AR9090 (6/5): Nice Resort - Stayed Here for 4 nights Hotel was ok but are Our Room was not in The Beautiful Grounds of the Hotel which was very strange. Breakfast was good Room was ok served it purpose.
Views from the hotel was stunning.
Good place to stay but a bit out of the way from the City. Were everything is.
