Personnel agréable et à l’écoute. Petites attentions pour les enfants en chambre.

Situé en bord de mer, on se croierait dans une auberge de l ancien temps mais tout est soigné fonctionnel, entretenu. Je pense que c est tenu par une famille depuis plusieurs generations L acceuil est prevenant et doux. L exsigence est a tous les niveaux. La vue est dingue, le restaurant est bleuffant. La cuisine est tres rafinée et laisse la place au gout des produits.( j ai lu un commentaire qui se plaingnait d un manque de sauce et de gout et je pense que c est cela que la personne n a pas compris) Le service au restaurant est digne d un palace avec la gentillesse et l humilite en plus. La tenue des serveur est tres guindee et classe a la fois. J ai trouvé cet etablissement absoluement parfait. Rien.

Denis (8/5): - Le cadre et le confort de l'hotel correspondaient au prix (nous avions des réductions !). Le personnel et, en particulier Maxime, étaient à l'écoute et très compétent. Par contre, la patrone nous faisait la tête quant lui indiquions que nous ne dinerions pas la le soir ! Les remarques négatives des autres avis étaient justifiées : prix du repas prohibitif, suppléments nombreux au petit déjeuner ... Par contre, la piscine couverte accessible et chauffée et la propreté des locaux.

The sea view room with its private balcony quickly became our sanctuary—there’s something magical about falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves. We ended up taking more naps than usual, lulled by the peaceful rhythm of the sea. The hotel itself has a quiet charm. Though it’s an older property and could benefit from updated furniture and a refreshed interior design, its cozy, intimate feel makes up for it. What stood out most was the genuine warmth of the staff—welcoming, attentive, and always helpful. We especially loved the sense of privacy the hotel offered. It feels tucked away from the typical tourist paths, which added to its serene atmosphere. The private beach, while a bit rocky and with some seaweed, was still lovely to relax by and swim. One unexpected delight was the shower in our room—it had a window facing the sea, turning a daily ritual into a moment of connection with nature. Dining on the terrace at the hotel’s restaurant was another highlight—great food paired with stunning views. We also made good use of the tennis court and treated ourselves to a fantastic massage with Natasha, which left us feeling completely rejuvenated. If you’re looking for a peaceful, slightly nostalgic, and intimate retreat in Corsica with beautiful sea views, Hotel Le Maquis is a wonderful choice. 1. I wish hotel would do something about a huge pile of seaweed lying on the beach. 2. Would be great to have a more comfortable bed with an actual king-size mattress. 3. Furniture in the foyer of the lobby needs to be more comfortable to sit on, and should be updated.

Mark (10/5): Old world charm and luxury. - The Maquis is a real old world experience. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a private balcony and a lovely view across the bay to Ajaccio. Fabulous outdoor and indoor pools and lovely gardens. Staff and welcoming and very helpful. The fine dining experience was excellent. Plenty of free parking. Only hotel with a private beach - unfortunately it was raining so didnt have a chance to visit. Cant think of anything

Superb view from the restaurant (very nice service, also in room). Staff always kind and available. Everything was perfect. Really. As the only suggestion, considering all the food service is provided by the elegant restaurant of the hotel, maybe increasing the offer with some more easy-going choices would not be a bad idea (sometimes on the seaside, even thought a refined offer is appreciated, people are just looking for something uncomplicated).
