Guest Reviews
- Timothy (8/5): Great place to overnight to break a long journey - Good breakfast Bar and eating area was a bit like a village hall but then again it’s not a village pub it’s a golf club so understandable
- Nigel (10/5): Excellent hotel with large room overlooking golf course. - The view out of the window of the room over the golf course was stunning.
The room, which was on the ground floor, was large and well equipped.
The hotel/golf club had a fast EV charge, which was important to us as we have an EV. Nothing
- John (10/5): Very nice stay, great room, very quiet. - Nice location Nothing
- john (9/5): A very comfortable overnight stay, can recommend. - Breakfast was not included, i had to pay for my own. The menu was adequate and portions were good. Good lounge & bar service with good menu. Breakfast would be nice if included.
- Stephen (8/5): -
- Nigel (9/5): Handy place to stop - good location and staff dinner could have been better
- Lockyer (9/5): It was amazing - Really like the lodges and the facilities they haf Nothing at all was amazing
- Mark (5/5): - Helpful bar staff and restaurant Room quality and hygiene. While weddings are of course expected, would be nice if staff just asked guests not to be screaming and banking doors at midnight.

- Debra (9/5): Great place to stop when heading north or south - The property is situated on a lovely golf course with bars and dining room overlooking the greens. The terrace outside the bar is a lovely place to sit.The staff are very friendly. The rooms are modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. Food was good. Nothing

- 0a7eea5ab461708fefb6ebe06628cfc7 (4/5): Not so pleased - View was nice with the golf field Had a room change because the toilet was untidy and body towel left a mess of wool all over my body. Struggled with the TV remote as well

- cb5948ca39337232c2d71eb42f72dba1 (6/5): Reception staff were nice, and the room was ok. The food was dreadful. - The stay hotel room was fairly good value. The service in the restaurant poor/slow.
The food was over priced, and the quality was dreadful. I had the curry and regretted it.
- 19e311d4e43973850041629097e0c69c (9/5): - Huge and comfortable log cabin for a very reasonable price. It was missing a few kitchen essentials but we mentioned this to reception so hopefully they will be supplied.

- 559eaac79db671d9df41f2fc0a11ab4f (9/5): - Great lodges with lots of space, and very well equipped. Not a lot. If I am being picky, there were a few cobwebs around so they could do with a deeper clean, but on the whole, very good.
- Tracey (9/5): Gorgeous location and beautiful views from rooms, breakfast let it down. - Very big rooms with lovely views of the golf course.
Very nice balcony to eat lunch at the restaurant.
Lots of free parking.
Very good room rate. The breakfast that was included was awful, sausages and eggs looked like they had been sitting there for hours. Had to ask for fresh , also juice not topped up even though there was an hour of breakfast left.
If I come again I would have room only and pay for a breakfast that comes freshly cooked.
- sally (8/5): Very pleasant, I would definitely stay here again - Breakfast was ok, but unfortunately very understaffed, items were not getting replenished and we were not shown the additional options menu. More staff needed at breakfast

The staff was great, the room was exceptional and very comfortable. The food was delicious.
- Aaron (10/5): Good food nice clean room brilliant location deffo stay again 😁 - Very good location Nothing
- Clare (6/5): Fine for one night, but could use a bit of an update and some modifications to spruce up the hotel - Nice location. Easy to reach from the A1. Plenty of parking. We had a lovely view of the golf course from our room. Driving range was easy to book and use. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were dusty. Breakfast was mediocre. Could use a nice coffee machine.
- Julia (8/5): -
- Godfrey (9/5): -
- Sue (8/5): Pretty good - Good Quieter restaurant
- Kirston (8/5): - Location handy from A1, clean, warm, food reasonably priced, parking and room facilities. Having to take £50 on arrival
- Beryl (10/5): Peaceful stay in Greetham - Such a delightful lodge, well equipped and comfortable , we enjoyed our stay Nothing

- Simon (6/5): 50/50 good stay, poor breakfast facility - Quiet location, nice setting Breakfast, came down at 7am for the buffet and was told not being put out until 7.20/25, can buy off the bar a more expensive breakfast if I like, had to wait till 7.25 for buffet to arrive which then delayed me from leaving on time for my appointment.

- Chamb (9/5): Spacious comfortable hotel with good food. - Great location for A1 and visiting Rutland Water. Large comfortable well equipped room. Good home cooked food in the bar. Ample parking on site. Not many comfy seats in the bar as mainly tables for eating. Bar being renovated 2026 so could improve.
- Lauren (10/5): We stayed at Greetham Valley as we were attending a wedding near by. It suited our needs perfectly. - We didn't have the breakfast on site as we had catered for ourselves. There was a very noisy group in one of the lodges across the site from us which kept us awake which was unfortunate but once they packed in we were fine.
- Karin (8/5): -
- jo (10/5): Great hotel - Nice big comfy bed. Nice and quiet
Bath
Warm towels
Lovely view. Nothing
- Richard (8/5): - Room was spacious, good wardrobe space etc, bed was comfortable, and shower strength was excellent.
- madeline (10/5): Will book again next time we visit - Great location lovely view of the golf course Would like net curtain on window so you could open the curtains to look at view with out being seen in the room by the golfers when getting dressed

- Gemma (8/5): - I needed somewhere to stay at fairly short notice - the hotel room was lovely and big, clean and I was really impressed for the price paid. I also had a lovely view from my window of the golf course. My room had a bath with shower in it - really nice size bathroom. I didnt have a chance to eat dinner or breakfast, so cant comment on this element.
- charlotte (10/5): We’ll be back! - So comfortable and quiet. Nothing
- Claire (7/5): -
- Coupe (10/5): - Everything was 👍 perfect for a few days away The only downside was the shower it to low for the taller person
- janebD2494NU (6/5): Lodge Stay - We stayed in a lodge. Whilst they are spacious, it is not in a quiet location as you can hear traffic from the A1 24 hours a day, which at night time when trying to sleep is troublesome. Equally, if raining hard, it is not suitably soundproofed. They are basically equipped. Beds are comfy. Clean ish, some cobwebs.
- Tomasz (5/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): The lodge we stayed in (5) was large and had plenty of space with still feeling cosy - The lodges were bigger than expected Nothing other than the stairs to get to the front door we’re not lit up so tried to juggle carrying bags and a torch so we could see the way in (lodge 5)
- Bimla (8/5): Comfortable and spacious - Great spacious chalet accommodation that was very comfortable The wooden deck was very slippery and looked like an animal had done a poop on the deck which meant the first impression wasn’t brilliant, but everything else was just great
- ALISON (9/5): -
- M L (9/5): -
- Matthew (9/5): -
- Roxanna (8/5): Lovely place to stay with family. -
- Laura (8/5): Nice few days - Cleanliness of the room was very good The beds seemed uncomfortable and some more pillows would be good
- Gary (7/5): -
- Odette (9/5): - Lovely location with beautiful views over the good course. Huge room.
- Faye (8/5): Pleasant stop over on the way to Europe. With a little spruce up could be a really lovely hotel- lots of golf guests the - Gentlemen on reception was very pleasant- we arrived late (around midnight) and checked us in very quickly.
Lady overseeing breakfast also pleasant. The pull out beds for the children weren’t great, quite uncomfortable- but did the job after a long day travelling.
Ours are under 10 years, older children might struggle as they were quite small.
- Peter (9/5): -
- butcher (10/5): - The lodge was massive and had all we needed
- real life (7/5): - Plenty parking staff were friendly. Booked it for my young son and his wife all was great apparently only thing they said wasn't great was the breakfast Breakfast was apparently slightly stale been sat under the heat lamps or something but wasn't part of the buffet breakfast. They didn't say it was awfull just that it wasn't great. A little bit of a let down as everything else was great so not a terrible comment.
- Connor (9/5): - Staff friendly - especially Sunday breakfast lady
- Chandra (8/5): Relaxing and spacious - Clean great location plenty of space for our family of five
- Sue (10/5): We enjoyed our stay very much and can and will highly recommend to friends and family - Beautiful comfy, clean, large room, staff on reception very friendly and helpful. The young man who had only been working at the bar, club house for a couple of weeks was Brilliant ... His attitude was refreshingly professional and much better than his superiors ! Bar food could possibly offer more healthy Vegan choices .... The older, more senior member of the bar staff had a very bad attitude, was very unapproachable ( perhaps it was just an "Off Day" ) thankfully the newest younger member of the bar staff completely made up for this... He was extremely friendly and helpful ...
- Mark (8/5): -
- Nicky (8/5): - The bar staff were excellent - especially Sue - as we were the only guests in the restaurant The reception staff did not know the restaurant opening times and couldn't be bothered to speak to us when we checked out. Very poor service!
- Kelly-Swan (10/5): - The location, the cabin great size to share with freinds and 2 bathrooms and had parking Nothing
- Scott (8/5): Exactly what we needed - Great view from the window! Comfy bed and working tv Shampoo would have been good but not fussy
- Kieran (7/5): -
- Jess (9/5): -
- william (9/5): - Location, facilities and staff.
- John (7/5): -
- Khaled (9/5): Exceptional Staff - Nice, quite, clean and exceptionally staff… Nothing at all
