• Sylvie (7/5): Un bel hôtel qui demande à être rénové - L’hôtel a énormément de charme de par sa vue, son architecture et garde un certain potentiel. Le personnel a été sympathique. Je suis déjà venue il y a plusieurs années, et j’en gardais un très bon souvenir, c’est pourquoi je suis revenue séjourner dans cet établissement. En revanche, j’ai été un peu déçue. Il conviendrait d’opérer certains travaux de rénovation et de nettoyage des chambres, même légers pour ne pas perdre en standing (vitres des douches avec du calcaire, moisissures, toiles d’araignées, peinture défraîchies, abat jour de lampe taché, rideaux troués ou sales…). La literie dans notre chambre était également inconfortable et serait à changer. En ce qui le service, il conviendrait le room service (nous avons demandé deux cafés à 11:00 AM, et il nous a été indiqué que cela n’était pas possible.

• Dennis (7/5): War in Ordung - Die Lage der Unterkunft Man muss mit Eidechsen rechnen. Hatten zum Anfang eine Unterkunft wo die Eidechsen auch im Wohnraum waren ( nicht nur kleinen ) . Anschließen durften wir dann das Zimmer wechseln , das war sehr unkompliziert.
• Enzio Cortez (10/5): A beautiful and peaceful nature retreat with excellent amenities and staff - The location is fantastic, perfectly quiet and peaceful retreat. The property is beautifully integrated with nature, and the amenities are excellent. What truly made the stay special, though, was the warm, friendly, and helpful staff who went above and beyond. While the breakfast was good, it could be elevated to match the high standards of the rest of the hotel. The SPA is a bit pricey compared to the other SPAs in the area, but also good.

Nous avons adoré séjourner ici, le restaurant est excellent, que ce soit pour le petit dej ou les repas, nous avons était vraiment bluffé ! Le personnel est aux petits soins et il y a une vaste offre d'activités. La chambre était parfaite.
• Yannick (9/5): Würde das Hotel sehr weiterempfehlen. - Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Personal sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist schlicht und einfach gehalten. Man hat die Möglichkeit für eine warme Mahlzeit und Buffet. Falls dies nicht reichen würde, gibt es die Möglichkeit in unmittelbarer Nähe zu frühstücken. Ich empfehle das Hotel sehr weiter. Kleinere Mängel wie bsp defekter Safe aber das Personal reagiert sehr schnell und lösungsorientiert.

• Ryunosuke (8/5): Amazing views and value for the stay - Amazing view from the room and resort. Room was clean, quiet, peaceful, and I had a comfortable stay. A bit of a drive away from Ubud city center but easy enough to taxi or they provide a free shuttle at intervals. Staff were very accommodating to my late check-in, and were very nice - Bali hospitality is the best :). I would return for the views and value. It's the middle of the jungle so there are some bugs. Some mild odor in the shower room as other reviews mentioned. I expected both and it was minor nuisance so it didn't detract from the experience. My wifi got disconnected for a couple hours but they fixed it right away.

Das Frühstück war lecker, man konnte neben einem kleinen Buffet noch ein Gericht auswählen. Man kann günstig Roller leihen, da das Hotel etwas außerhalb von Ubud liegt. Die Mitarbeiter*innen waren Halle hilfsbereit und freundlich.

• melika (10/5): Excellent and peaceful stay - The location is excellent very calm, yet surrounded by beautiful local shops, cafés, and spas. I absolutely loved this part of Ubud. It’s so close to the city centre, but still peaceful and far from the chaos. The room was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Every time we asked for something, they responded immediately and were very helpful. There are quite a few steps to reach the rooms, but that’s part of the hotel’s charm and adds to its character. The breakfast could be improved. However, my favourite part of the buffet was the fruit selection there was a different variety every day, and everything was fresh and delicious. I will definitely come back and stay there again. N/A

• Elena (10/5): Relaxation, tranquility and scenic views - A very beautiful and authentic hotel grounds, friendly and helpful staff, and a good massage. Truly a place for rest and relaxation. As the hotel is set on a hillside, there are many steep stairs. This place is best suited for guests without knee issues. It didn’t bother us, but it could be a problem for some.

Il personale è stato sempre molto gentile e disponibile ad esaudire ogni nostra richiesta. Ottima la colazione ( per noi era inclusa ) ed anche le cene che abbiamo fatto presso il ristorante. Scendendo da una ripida e pittoresca scala immersa nel verde, si raggiunge la zona dove ci sono le piscine comuni, molto ampia, fornita di lettini e ombrelloni ad uso libero. In quest'area c'è anche un bar/ ristorante al quale si può ordinare il pranzo o degli snack. La nostra villa aveva la piscina privata ed era molto grande, pulita. Dotata di un'ampia finestra ( 7/8 metri ) affacciata sulla valle sottostante. Nulla

The glass in the bathroom was not properly cleaned and was quite dirthy, as well as the TV stand was sticky. The shower head was full of calcar deposit. • Gwen (4/5): - Super Lage. Ruhig Das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir mit einem Begrüßungsgetränk empfangen und anschließend zu unserem Zimmer gebracht, das leider wie ein Labyrinth wirkte. Zudem haben wir keine Erklärung oder Orientierung erhalten, wie wir beispielsweise zum Pool gelangen, da alles sehr verwinkelt war und man nicht genau wusste, wohin man gehen musste. Unser Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Beim genaueren Hinsehen fiel jedoch auf, dass sich an einigen Stellen viele Spinnweben, Schmutz und Insekten befanden. Trotzdem haben wir beschlossen, die eine Nacht zu bleiben, da wir uns davon nicht sofort abschrecken lassen wollten und dem Ganzen eine Chance geben wollten. In der Nacht wurde es jedoch schlimmer als erwartet. Die Insekten befanden sich auch auf und im Bett. Das Moskitonetz war teilweise beschädigt und schloss nicht richtig am Bett ab. Zudem hörte man in Bilderrahmen und an der Decke Krabbelgeräusche von Geckos, die sich in der Nacht auch gezeigt haben. Auch unsere Eingangstür ließ sich nicht vollständig schließen, da sie einen Spalt hatte und teilweise beschädigt war. Neben Geckos und Ameisen fanden wir auch Tausendfüßler und Kakerlaken in unserem Zimmer, was uns sehr enttäuscht und erschreckt hat. Auch die Balkontür ließ sich nicht richtig schließen. Sie blieb immer leicht offen, sodass zahlreiche Insekten und andere Tiere ins Zimmer gelangen konnten. All dies hat uns sehr enttäuscht, sodass wir das Hotel nach der ersten schlaflosen Nacht verlassen haben. Uns wurde zwar ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, jedoch sind dort alle Zimmer ähnlich gestaltet.
• Romy (9/5): - Wat een top verblijf. Gunstige locatie ten opzichte van het centrum, met 10 minuten te bereiken per taxi. Voldoende restaurants in de omgeving om avond te eten. Ontbijt lekker en genoeg keuze. Personeel vriendelijk. Uitzicht vanuit de kamer was prachtig. Comfortabele bedden.

The room was beautiful, spacious and clean and the view was unbelievable. The location was super convenient and close to Ubud without being in the midst of any chaos. Felt like a little hidden sanctuary. The only only thing was the room had a mildewy smell. I noticed this throughout Bali though and am sure it's something that will happen basically anywhere in this climate.

• Marina (10/5): - One of the best hotels I stayed in Bali. It is clean, it has spectacular views, the staff are really nice and lovely. I forgot my pants there and remembered about them after a month 🤦‍♀️, but they carefully stored them and helped me to get them back. The bed was very comfortable — I would rate my sleep there 10/10. I believe that the quality of sleep is one of the most important aspects of any hotel experience, and Ulun Ubud delivered exceptionally well in this regard. Also, whenever a fly got into my room, I would call reception and the staff would come within two minutes to help me immediately. I honestly didn’t have anything to complain about.

• Nicolás (9/5): The best place to relax and connect with nature, but watch out for lizards in your room! - I loved the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful in answering any questions, the room was excellent with a pool accessible from the balcony door (shared), plenty of space, green areas, and tranquility. The breakfast was poor, it didn't live up to expectations, there were very few options. The location is a bit far, there are some shops nearby but you need transport to go anywhere else.
• Märtha (9/5): - Jag bodde här med min man för flera år sedan och återvände nu med en väninna. Underbar utsikt från rummet, riktig Bali feeling. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam. Maten på hotellet var ok, men inget speciellt. Rekommenderar boende här för dig som vill njuta av fin utsikt och inte har problem att gå i trappor. Pga det fantastiska läget, är det en hel del trappor på området. Städningen var inte dålig men inte heller jättebra. Detsamma för maten. Huven på frukosten kändes lite smaklös och delvis hade den en bismak av nåt kemiskt som jag inte gillade.

• Richard (8/5): Amazing oasis of calm, beautiful hotel which could be more environmentally friendly - Breakfast was good and you could order good vegetarian options from the menu The room was beautiful with the best view over the waterfall and river Very clean hotel with beautiful steep jungle like grounds Total peace and tranquility I don't approve of the single use plastic complimentary shower items. All single use! Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel should be in refillable glassware in this day and age. Every other hotel we stayed at is doing this. Small glass bottles with sealed lids. Recyclble yes but what an unnecessary waste of energy These could be replaced with LARGE glass water bottles that are refilled in-hotel by staff.

• Curtis (9/5): - Nice facilities, great staff and really good breakfast. Restaurant was also good for lunch and dinner. Hotel is a $3 taxi to Ubud Center and much quieter than the center area. Nice pools and beautiful surroundings. Rooms were large and comfortable. Hotel is on a hillside and there are many stairs. The lowest room is 120 stairs down from the lobby. If you have mobility issues ask for a room close to the lobby (and breakfast). The staff worked with us and found us a closer room with less stairs.

Tuvalet banyoda odadan ayrılan kapı olsa iyi olurdu. Yamaçta olduğundan biraz merdiven var. Birazda odalara bakım iyi olabilir.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Breakfast was high quality, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. A great base for exploring Ubud while enjoying comfort and tranquility. Highly recommended.

The rooms were actially individual vila. both the room and the batchroom was very spacious with a surrounding veranda. The stay was peaceful. The hotel is on a steep slope, with no lift facitility. you need to go up and down through stone staircases. That can be a bit challneging for some people. Otherwise,
