- MADALO (8/5): Very spacious, luxurious, safe, value for money unfortunately no WIFI or smart TV/(Streaming) - I could not sing enough praises for this gem of an apartment. Space: 10/10 -Very very spacious Cleanliness: 10/10 very clean Facilities: 10/10 very modern, fully functional kitchen and bathroom and toilet facilities (Toto), nicely lit shower:10/10 : was such a delight to come home to a great shower set at the right temperature, great water pressure Beds: 10/10 -hotel-level comfort of mattresses and pillows Location: 9/10 very quiet, very safe neighborhood even at night, easy to find by taxi, access via lockbox next to door communication: 10/10 - very responsive hosts, hosts give you all info you need via email, clear information. WIFI: 0/10. WIFI does not work. Hosts are aware. No explanation was given nor any info provided whether it was being fixed or something that's ongoing, just "sorry it is not available". TV: 0/10. Japanese free to air channels only. It is not a Smart TV so there is no Netflix (or other streaming services), can't even cast your shows/tv from your gadgets. I would have rated this apartment 10/10 but the lack of WIFI and smart TV really made it stressful because I travelled with two kids. Evenings can be boring when you are tired from the day and don't feel like making conversation P/S It is on 2 floors with a steep staircase BUT I have found this is pretty much the standard in most apartments in Japan. There is a solid handrail so that made it safer. I recommend this apartment, will definately consider it again next time I am in Osaka
