Guest Reviews
- Greigh (7/5): -
- Ross (4/5): Pretty funny - Good location They had massive water leak coming out the light fixtures right outside my room
- Christian (6/5): - Location & aesthetics was great also loved the patio. The shower flooded the entire bathroom into the bedroom .. i PAID for late check out & the staff still came in TWICE and called me .. those things should be communicated
- Sara (7/5): A good position, more openness regarding the check-in procedure as we had to drive around twice after we saw the small n - Spacious rooms Emptiness on the ground floor
Lack of any catering facilities
Low water pressure
Lack of flexibility for the light switches
- Aaron (1/5): Great concept; horrible execution - The Loft was a total fail. However, Mariah was exceptionally helpful in getting us moved over the the IH, which is their sister property and was much better. For this we're very grateful. The hallway and stunk of mold. The shower didn't work. Multiple pieces of furniture were broken. The AC barely worked. The bed was very uncomfortable. The list of issues is long. I wouldn't have been happy paying 1/2 for what we received. Maybe $25/night is fine.
- Jeheiria (10/5): -
- BRIAN (10/5): Awesome - It is very Contemporary, Very Romantic, Very Centrally Located! In addition, the personnel are GREAT! Water Pressure is a bit low.
- Elisa (8/5): I was good but the street was not very quiet - I liked the facilities It didn’t have light blocking curtains.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great room, great staff, because hating on the falcons lol - Every thing Valid got lost bringing my car
- Shaun (10/5): Great experience - Unique Nothing
- Jeremy (8/5): Great room for the price but not meant for extended stay - I loved the room and the open concept! The patio was ok too. The shower and tub were amazing though! To many sewer roaches on the patio to really enjoy it. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room too. Also the ceiling fan didn’t work but it stay rather cool in the room still
- Jones (6/5): Pleasant -
- Brit (10/5): Exceptional - The location the scenery the people
- Bianca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (6/5): Pleasant - Rooms are spacious and clean. The front desk folks are warm and accommodating. It’s in an awesome location. The rooms are very dark. If you have an evening engagement, you’ll find that without the natural light from the large windows it’s difficult to do make up or shave. The shower was bizarre - tiny double rain shower head with zero water pressure that sprayed everywhere except where I needed it to. Finally my room faced the street and I was awaken at 5 am to dump trucks and construction.
- Susan (8/5): Great once we checked in. - Nice room and great location. When we got there the door was locked. We rang the doorbell and tried the 2 phone numbers on the door but no answer. We gave up and went to the hotel next door to see if they had a room. We told them what happened and they said it happens all the time and we had to go to a different hotel about a block away to get our key card.
- Darshanae (8/5): Very good - Big nice room. No view on balcony.
- Johnson (7/5): Good -
- Jesse (10/5): Highly recommend - Easy access to the French Quarter. Parking lot right across the street. Great little breakfast spot on the corner called Majoriams. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Extremely quiet and private…which is very difficult to find in the French Quarter Not a thing
- Cassandra (1/5): Will not choose this run down place again for any reason - The location Poor customer service- lighting bad- no microwave - furniture uncomfortable- loud environment all night- no staff available for assistance- door stuck- half the lights did not work -
- Eduardo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ashley (5/5): No coffee maker, phone don't work, tub had no hot water and mouse in room - What breakfast lol had some nasty coffee at the other building across the street. Did not like that at all. Ummm the mouse running across the floor and them under the platform bed at 11:40pm!! When I told front desk they said well orkin just came so they might be running. 🤮 Omg terrible night- my birthday night as well.. happy birthday to me lol
- Mahogany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Overall a good stay… would come back again and stay at this property or their sister property - Great location…walking distance to everything and the staff was friendly and helpful The traffic… first time coming and trying to find parking was horrible we literally circled the block multiple times due to traffic and nowhere to park
- Elizabeth (10/5): Fancy last minute stay - Super nice room, well located and friendly staff. Everything was perfect.
- Darian (5/5): It was a nice stay - Location. Spacious bathroom No microwave
- Frans (8/5): Very good -
- Kimberly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carl (4/5): Cool loft vibe and good location marred by inadequate plumbing and lighting and excessive noise - Good location. Spacious room, comfortable bed. Friendly staff around the corner at check in. Cool loft vibe. Attentive cleaning - toiletries nicely arranged. Lights far too dim especially in bathroom. Toilet ran forever. Terrible shower nozzles - no pressure and sprayed all over. Curtains let in copious light at daybreak. Worst noise I’ve ever experienced.
- Christian (10/5): Would absolutely stay again an incredible steal! - Everything was as pictured very comfortable Literally, the only thing I didn’t like was that the cleaning lady said that check out was for 10 but on my itinerary, it said 12
- Jermaine (8/5): would come back and stay there without question. - location was perfecrt and the room was clean and had plenty of room. I wish breakfast on the hotel. A bar downstairs and access to the pool table would have been great.
- Darroch (8/5): Very good - Open loft feel and close proximity to tourist attractions Coffee not good, much better going to the lobby and getting your coffee there!
- David (4/5): Disappointing - Location. Cool vibe. Room was dark. Hardly any light at all
- Jaceda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Heather (4/5): Disappointing -
- Parmely (4/5): Overall restful good location needing more attention to details. - Quiet location close to French Quarter. Comfortable bed and pillows. Great towels. Housekeeping didn't provide fresh washcloths 2 out of 4 days. Television is in a location not easily viewed from bed. Decaf only coffee provided even after requesting regular coffee. Ceiling fan had only one speed even though 3 speeds were on control. Lights on vanity mirror and on ceiling fan were not operating. Pictures on web site were not representative of the property condition.
- Godfrey (10/5): Home away from home sweet heaven - Everything,The early check-in the customer service. It was incredible.,the Loft is home away from home The bed is so comfortable. The location is incredible. The front desk kind and nice the housekeepers are incredible. I hate it to leave. I will be staying again in February. I go to New Orleans about three times a year and this is where I will be staying at the loft , it’s quiet peaceful serenity They made it so peaceful that you don’t want to leave the property

- Jared (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iesha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amonica (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect away from the noise but also close to the action.
- Anonymous (10/5): Loft 523 can expect me to book there in more than one occasion. Well worth it. - Very Spacious. Quiet. Relaxing. Peaceful. The elevator had a unique smell but overall nothing was wrong.
- Kevin (4/5): very dissatisfied and disappointed - staff from the mother hotel the international house was good ; the hotel desk on premises itself was not staffed at all . tv didn’t work; dirty towels in the bathroom, no coffee in the room , no ice on premises.
- Shellie (5/5): Overall, the stay was good. Everything was really clean and new. - The location and room were great! There was no staff at this location. Downstairs bar/lobby area was closed the whole time I was there.
Also, the shower had very low water pressure and the lighting in the bathroom was too dim. The magnifying wall mirror light was broken so I had to sit in the living room to get enough light to put on my makeup.
