• dreed622 (10/5): Fantastic Staff!!! At least Shianne, Yashika and Luis, were! - I happened upon The Point in early May, and I was so impressed with staff members Shianne, Yashika and Luis! Then, when I got to the room and had the opportunity to look around the property - WOW!!! - I have got to give immense kudos to the property. This is one of the finest properties I've had the opportunity to stay at. And as I stated, STAFF WAS TERRIFIC!!! Management at The Point - these members of staff are keepers! Now, on the other hand, Vacation Offer (VO), needs to go.

A kitchenette consisting of a microwave, Mini fridge, kettle and a coffee maker with dishes is in the room. Counter space was very limited. The bathroom is well stocked.

Em menos de 10 minutos, você está no estacionamento dos parques. O quarto é confortável, com uma cama king boa. Banheiro espaçoso. Cozinha funcional com vários utensílios. Comunicação muito boa com o anfitrião. Algumas louças estavam com um pouco de sujeira quando chegamos. Ficamos vários dias e foi deixado pouco papel higiênico e toalha de papel na cozinha. • Fearless283234 (4/5): I dont know why it has higher ratings. - Location great from Universal. Beds terribly hard, still have sore shoulders. Bathroom plumbing terrible and needs updating. Also, does not have hard line phones in room, which is needed for emergencies.

• Jrand66 (8/5): The Point Suites - I enjoy staying at the Point suites every time I visit Orlando for business. I love the Full Kitchen and Laundry suite that also has a balcony to wind down the day with a beautiful sunset. Sitting just outside Universal and Icon Park, you're literally 5 minutes from everything, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Wi-Fi, Fitness center, nice pool & jacuzzi; the only thing they don't supply is a Butler!!

• 649onelysc (2/5): No customer service, waste your time! - Fast forward to today , I had called multiple times and always told they were looking into it. First they said the would listen to the phone calls, then they stopped with that excused and said they are working towards it, that they will call me back. They never call. You call them back and same excused. I asked for a manager 2 times and they are never around. They never call back either. I wrote in the page with this complaint and also completely ignored. At this point, they have completely waste my time and they will waste yours if you have an issue. I read another review here similar with them never calling back or resolving anything. They have 0 cares about the customers. In my last call I told the lady, if there is no resolution just tell me don’t keep dragging me along and telling me you are working on it. They are shameless and just lie. I don’t want a response with your apologies. Keep that, too late. Wasted my time and energy for something so easy and answer yes or no. I will make sure I report you anywhere I can, so everyone knows the kind of business that you are running.

• amills8165 (8/5): You get what you pay for - We got this room for SUPER cheap, so we went for it. The living and sleeping spaces were all really clean. Very minimalistic. Would’ve loved to know that the laundry is IN UNIT. For some reason that wasn’t clear on the site we used. We would’ve brought a lot less clothes. The pull-out couch did not come with any bedding or pillows, even though we specified we had 2 adults and 2 kids. We loved the keyless entry. The “gym” is a nightmare. It is maybe a 10x10 room, no AC. Two treadmills, two rusty bikes, one chest press, one pull-down, a leg extension, and ONE single dumbbell. The pool is dirty. The bartender cooks in the back instead of watching the bar (not her fault), so it took forever to get a drink. All that being said, the rooms were clean, and we slept well. The people who worked there were also super nice.

• ParkerFamily03 (10/5): Lovely location & very clean - We stayed for a couple nights for just a weekend trip to Orlando. The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff(Shianne) was very friendly and courteous during check in. The location is prefect for shopping, dining and park visits. It’s very quiet considering it’s in a well traveled area. My only complaint was the pillows but I’m very picky about pillows and I travel with my own.

Myself and my wife stayed in room 1208S from 19th to 21st March on our way to Anna Maria Island via a short stay in Orlando . Brilliant value and excellent large apartment room. Yashika on reception was superb and so helpful as were the other reception staff we met. Room spotless and fully equipped with full cooking and washing equipment and utensils.They have modernised rooms to a good standard . Bonus is the balcony. Have read some concerns on hot water but we were top floor and had no issues at all with shower or sinks. Pool area excellent with great pool bar and food. So good we have rebooked for 3 days on 28th to 31st March on our way back to UK after a visit to Anna Maria Island.Great location. We have stayed at numerous Orlando Hotels and some classed as superior star rating but this beats them all overall and value excellent. If you are looking at this hotel as an option don’t hesitate.
• Quest15670307067 (10/5): Absolutely FABULOUS, book immediately! - Book this hotel! You will not be disappointed. I booked the King Suite to share along with my daughter. I was not expecting what were handed. It was absolutely incredible from the hotel reception staff, Who were the absolute best (should out to Yakisha, an absolute lady!) cleanliness to the appliances provided, not to mention the views, the incredible pool right next to the bar/eatery. You’re right on top of all of the major parks and the Ubers are super cheap. I will absolutely most definitely without a doubt returning. I would highly recommend to anybody and everybody. I felt extremely safe in this hotel as a loan traveller with a young daughter. couldn’t have asked for more. Five stars from me. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
• Deborah (10/5): Great location! Great host!! Great stay! - Location was great, close to Universal Resort, you could walk but it would be too much in the heat. Close to major road links making it an easy to drive to all parks and attractions. The location is close to everything but is still quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful relax away from the hustle and bustle.The host was/is brilliant and the communication was great. Ranaldo is a very attentive host and always responds to any query we may have. Excellent value. This is our second stay with Ronaldo and we have already booked our third. This time we are introducing family to the apartments. I really can't think of anything I didn't like. I would say the parking can get very busy but we were never unable to find a parking spot.

We checked in at 6pm on a friday and we were given the code to our room with no real greeting or explanation of the property and amenities. When arriving to the room it just looked old/some mold on the bathroom mirror. Our TV broke mid stay. We didn’t receive housekeeping at all (something we had to request which wasn’t explained to us). Pool was nice and warm, pool area was well kept.

The location is excellent, very close to the International Outlet and just a short drive from many attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas. Everything you might need during your stay is nearby, which makes it very convenient. The apartment itself was comfortable, clean, and well organized. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay and felt very welcoming. I would also like to highlight the reception service, which was always very helpful and friendly. A special thanks to Ronaldo, who was extremely attentive and always responded very quickly whenever we had a question or needed assistance. His support made the experience even better. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Orlando.
• sbW4857SD (2/5): PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Horrible Experience with “The Point by Edge” Hotel - I normally don’t post things like this, but the way this hotel handled our situation was completely unacceptable, and people deserve to know how they treat their guests. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cancel our stay, but we made it very clear that we fully intended to return at a future date. We contacted the hotel on Sunday to request a refund or even a credit. We were told a refund CAN be done and that we would receive a call back within a couple of hours. Spoiler: No call ever came. Days went by, so we called again. This time we spoke with D.L., who we literally couldn’t hear until she fixed her at-home connection. She told us she was not a manager and that the refund was declined. When we asked to speak to a manager, she said one would call us by 7–8 PM. More than 24 hours later — still no call. We called again and spoke with C.B., who claimed no manager was available (while implying she wasn’t part of management). She also informed us, again with no call back from anyone, that “management” had declined the refund. When we asled to speak with management and asked for supervisor information, she refused, saying we had been given “more than enough information” and that nothing else would be provided. At that point, we made it clear we wouldn’t be returning and that we would be sharing our experience publicly. Immediately after, C.B. suddenly texted the phone number with an apology something that should have happened days earlier. P.S no consent was given to text my personal phone number. To make it even worse… every other service we booked, including flights we were unable to take and entertainment, showed compassion and understanding. They reviewed the situation and provided FULL refunds or accommodations based on the circumstances without hesitation.
The only company that refused to accommodate in any way was “The Point by Edge.” No accountability No communication No manager ever made contact despite multiple promises Contradicting information from staff Refusal to provide supervisor details Least compassionate service provider compared to every other business involved We were calm. We were patient. We were more than willing to take a credit instead of a refund. But the lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer service from “The Point by Edge” has made it clear that we will not be returning. This is your warning: think twice before booking.
• apreje701901 (10/5): Awesome Suites - We had 2 one bedroom suites for our family trip. The suites were spacious, comfortable, clean & fully stocked. Having full kitchens made it so convenient. The pool is heated & the hot tub was great. The property location was perfect, only took minutes to get to the theme parks Also, close to many restaurants & shopping. Wonderful place to stay!

• A4372YLreneep (2/5): Clean and Convenient, but Lacking in Comfort & Amenities - The hotel offers solid basics: free parking, clean rooms, an on-site café, and very convenient to the parks. However, several issues affect comfort and convenience, including safety concerns (manual-only door locking), pillows are very high and uncomfortable, rough toilet paper (just think sandpaper), and limited guest services (no daily housekeeping unless requested, no ice machines, no cash for change or digital option for housekeeping tips). I do not recommend this hotel if are a seasoned traveler and have basic expectations.

• Momlife_hiswife (6/5): OKAY STAY Do your research!!!! - I was originally room 502H but it was extremely dirty with hair in the bathroom tub and floor, moved to room 1102 H where the TV stand was burnt with cigarette marks. Instead of being offered anything at all. They was like we can move you again. Apparently on the EXECUTIVE most Expensive rooms are the BEST 1109. I got no upgrade, discount or anything. I had to pay to have that room just to be able to have a nice room for my anniversary. Oh and you plan on using the pool table be sure to bring change. There is an ATM however if you ask front desk they will huff and puff and say oh no her again as you are approaching asking where the machine is. No professionalism at all. It's not my fault I had to be moved 3 times. The location is extremely nice to get anywhere however keep in mind this hotel has doors to the outside of the parking lot that you will NOT be able to access from the outside due to them being keyless. You can exit from within but with it cold or rainy or a lot of luggage you will have to exit your car and walk around the entire building to enter. Front desk could careless if you complain. Makes no sense to have doors that you can't use to get in the building faster or access your room faster.

The only thing I’d recommend is getting new beds, you could feel a spring in ours which was slightly uncomfortable. The bed we had also wasn’t the softest, I woke up with a sore back every morning. The room was lovely, very clean, great sized bathroom. We did have to ask for towels to dry the dishes during our stay to which we were given paper towel, we’re from Canada so that was very different for us.

It being like a studio apartment, it was nice not constantly ordering food like we've done at previous hotels and being able to cook/bake our own food. Staff was incredibly accommodating. Microwave had shorted so nothing would heat. Next day, brand new microwave was installed. Location to an extent. There isn't anything that's immediate walking distance, but that's a nitpick more than anything else. Definitely not a deterrent.

The 1-bedroom suite was spacious, clean, a great shower and comfy sofa. They provide tea and coffee too. Free sweets in the lobby too. The pool and spa area were great too. We highly recommend this hotel and would return any time.

It needs properly cleaned and could do with being redecorated. As it wasn’t part of the Pointe Hotel the room wasn’t serviced during our two week stay!!!!!!!! NO clean towels,no clean sheets!!!!!!!! and we had to purchase our own toilet paper!!!!!!!!!
• Deborah (9/5): Good value, great location, attentive host. - The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. The cost was great value for the accommodation. Communication was excellent. The location was amazing, walking distance to I-Drive, TJ Maxx, Burlingtons, lots of restaurants and (although a long walk) Premium outlet mall. There is a bar by the pool which had reasonably priced food and drink, which we used on a couple of occasions. We could watch Disney fireworks the balcony. Everything was in working order. Absolutely no issues at all. We are returning soon to one of the hosts other apartments as this one isn't available for our next stay, but we are sure it will be just as good. The little amount of contact we had with staff at the hotel was good. TIP- you can walk to Universal orlando but if you walk to Dockside or Surfside you can get on the resort bus and head to any of the parks from there.
• leoaI4079NS (10/5): An Amazing stay 5/5 stars !🌟 - My partner and I stayed at the Point Hotel & Suites in Orlando near International Drive, and from the moment I arrived, the service was excellent and extremely welcoming. We stayed in the one-bedroom apartment with a balcony pool view, and the rooms were extremely clean and spacious, with several amenities available. I would like to give a special mention to the staff member Yashika, who went above and beyond every single day. She made us feel cared for from the moment we stepped onto the premises. She never let us leave without checking in on how we were doing, always greeting us with a smile and genuine kindness. It’s rare to meet someone who brings such positive energy to their role, and she absolutely made our stay feel memorable. Thanks to her and the rest of the team, we had a great stay. I would highly recommend The Point Hotel & Suites to anyone visiting Orlando !

Menos de 10 min da Universal, Walmart e outros! Amei e voltaria com certeza! Na recepção todos muito simpáticos e solicitos! De tudo! O quarto é enorme e o hotel é bem bonito

The cost of breakfast was high for the quality, but we only did that 1 day and cooked in our suite after that

• Dianette (8/5): Anniversary Weekend - The staff was amazing and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and smells great. The room was very welcoming and gave a vacation type feeling. Our room keys were not able to open any of the doors that gave us access to getting into the hotel from the outside. We had to walk all the way to the front door. That was very inconvenient, especially at night. The parking lot opposite the pool area is not lit properly.
• Marcelo (8/5): Muy buen lugar si queres ir cerca de Universal! - La habitación es muy buena y luminosa. Tiene cocina completa y lavadora / secadora de ropa. La distribución es medio rara. Muy mal equipada en cuanto a utensillos de la cocina. Y el tamaño de la misma muy chica.
• Niyah (7/5): A weekend in enough! - Convenient area to universal. We are dedicated guests to the surfside/dockside hotels but all rooms were sold out so we had to find a hotel closer. Great location and loved the free parking. The beds was SO uncomfortable. I didn’t get any sleep because we could literally feel the springs of the beds underneath us. We also had a pool view on the first floor but we felt like we couldn’t get natural sunlight in the room because people could look into the room. Also, our bathroom was very outdated and the baseboards look like they werent cleaned in months.
