- Sophie (10/5): A perfect honeymoon! - We had the most wonderful stay at Nyati for our honeymoon! From the moment we arrived we were absolutely spoiled and were made to feel so welcome! A big thank you to the front of house host Rome-Marie! No problem was ever too big and she was just so lovely, even when I had to call her at 3am as my partner wasnt well! The game drives were amazing and we were lucky enough to see so many animals, all the guides were very knowledgeable and you can tell how much they love the animals! We were out for between 3-4 hours and it passes by so quickly as its so much fun! The safari trucks are super comfy too! We stayed in the river bungalow and absolutely loved watching the hippos in the river and spotting elephants wandering around! The restaurant staff are also so kind and the food was so delicious, my partner got an upset tummy and they happily prepared him something else (he had plain chicken and rice which was the best hes ever had!😂) Big thank you to Chef Sipho and Team!! We just cannot recommend Nyati enough, we were so sad to leave and already would love to return! Everything was perfect!

- Gledson (9/5): Incrível - Nossa hospedagem no Nyati foi incrível. Antes da viagem não imaginou o quanto seria incrível estar ali. Toda a equipe do Nyati foi muito cuidadosa e estável sempre ali dispostos a resolver qualquer problema e nos deixar o mais confortáveis possíveis. Pegamos o Chalé familia que são 3 ambientes e alguns dias nos deparamos com animais próximo a varanda do nosso Chalé. Um dia encontramos dois elefantes, foi incrível. Os game drivers foram muito bons, gostamos de fazer especialmente com o Keneddy e o Bryan. Ambos eram muito determinados a encontrar os animais para nós e o Keneddy inclusive arranhava um leve português. Encontramos muitos brasileiros lá durante nossa estadia. Teve um incidente no transfer de retorno para o aeroporto. Tinha uma família um pouco atrasada e o motorista correu mais do eu considerava seguro, mas reportei isso por email e ficaram de conversar e corrigir internamente.

- Fabiano (10/5): Experiência apaixonante, relaxante e única. - A localização em frente ao rio olifantes é sensacional, os funcionários são muito atenciosos, a comida é muito gostosa e de qualidade e os quartos são sempre limpos, entram 2x por dia para verificar se está tudo ok. Usamos o serviço de lavanderia que era bem rápido e dentro da propriedade vimos muitos animais como elefantes, hipopótamos, javalis, macacos e antílopes. Alguns guias não demonstraram tanta ambição em encontrar os animais e nem sempre a gente conseguia escolher o guia que gostamos. Vale fazer os games drives nessa reserva e também no Kruger para ter uma experiência mais completa.
- JULIO (6/5): Super expectativa com decepção devido às chuvas - A tenta onde ficamos é muito bem equipada e confortável, com ar condicionado. A comida em geral é muito boa e as bebidas estão disponíveis o dia todo, em boa qualidade. O staff do hotel é sempre atencioso. Esta avaliação pode ter sido afetada pela época em que fomos, pois houve uma chuva muito forte durante uma semana (equivalente a 3 vezes a chuva esperada no ano). Dos 4 safaris a que tínhamos direito, fizemos apenas um, na estrada principal (as outras estavam fechadas) e aí, dos Big 5, vimos apenas o elefante. Não foi culpa do hotel, mas acho que eles deveriam ter um Plano B para épocas de chuva forte. Não havia nada para que os hóspedes pudessem fazer e, visto que o valor da diária é muito alto em função dos safáris, virou um péssimo custo benefício, pois tivemos um "resort normal" pelo preço de um resort Triple A. Também deveria ser pensado um plano alternativo para a comunicação do quarto com a recepção, pois no momento da chuva forte (que ocorreu logo após nossa chegada) a luz acabou por mais de duas horas e o telefone depende de eletricidade e de internet. Ficamos isolados na tenda, tensos, pois nos disseram para não sair de noite sem acompanhamento, sendo que o rio em frente estava subindo, e ficamos sem notícias do que acontecia. A internet praticamente não funcionou em nenhum dos dias na tenda, apenas dava sinal próximo à recepção.

- Andrea Carolina (9/5): Sehr gut - Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und engagiert. Das Zelt war sehr groß und bequem, mit beheizbarem Bett. Leider haben wir keine Tiere im Fluss gesehen, aber die Lage ist wunderschön. Man muss sich um nichts kümmern – einfach mitmachen und genießen. Wir haben das Zimmer zu einem Angebotspreis gebucht – dafür war es in Ordnung. Zum regulären Preis wäre es jedoch zu teuer für das, was geboten wird. Das Frühstück war gut, aber der Filterkaffee war nicht besonders – eine richtige Kaffeemaschine wäre eine sinnvolle Ergänzung. Das Essensangebot war insgesamt etwas begrenzt, insbesondere zum Mittagessen gab es nur eine einzige Option.

Essen hervorragend - absolut super - Küche vielleicht etwas fleischlastig (für uns ok). Tolle Game Drives. Kompetente Ranger. Immer total sicher gefühlt auch bei aufkommendem heftigem Gewitter. Bush Walk sehr interessant. Big5 gleich beim ersten Morgen Game Drive. Danke Brandon! Nette Kontakte zu Menschen aus der ganzen Welt von Tasmanien bis Brasilien geknüpft. Sehr international. Abholung vom Flughafen super (trotz verspätet Ankunft) Anfahrt dann zur Lodge ca 1 1/2 Stunden (Abholung unbedingt empfohlen). Flexiblen ersten Game Drive organisiert - echt kalsse - Wohlfühlplatz!!! da fällt mir jetzt nichts ein. - gut meine Frau wollte unbedingt eine Ballon Safari .... hat halt nicht geklappt (Wind, ausgebucht oder ...)

- Keegan (10/5): Amazing stay and very helpful staff! - All of the staff were super friendly and helpful, the rangers we were with (Kenneth, Edwin, and Brendan) were fantastic at making the game drives as comfortable as possible and worked really hard to find as many animals as possible. The food was always incredible, we love trying new things so it was great that there was a lot of variance in the meals. The room we had was beautiful and the facilities worked perfectly. Nothing about the property, it was an amazing stay! Unfortunately it was raining a lot while we were there and we didn’t mange to see all the big 5; the lions and leopards were once again elusive. This is obviously not the fault of the lodge, but we did discover that on one of the morning drives there was a leopard sighting by one of the vehicles, who had then followed it for about 10 minutes but there was no communication about the whereabouts for other vehicles to try and see it, which was disappointing to learn but everything else was amazing.

Die Big 5 haben wir innerhalb weniger Tage alle sehen können. Das Essen ist super lecker, hier hat es an nichts gefehlt. O melhor de tudo é um rio que passa ao lado, onde muitos elefantes passam o dia. Apenas um dos rangers (Nic) que não fez muita questão de procurar os animais pra gente. No Safari da manhã todos os outros carros encontraram vários animais e o nosso nenhum. Parecia um pouco preguiçoso. E outro que em qualquer oportunidade pedia gorjeta. Mas, no dia anterior vimos os Big Five em um único dia.

Os safáris são legais, mas pode ser um pouco cansativo após 2 dias de viagem ! Conseguimos ver os big 5 lá! Apesar da densidade de animais no Kruger park ser maior! Os funcionários são muito simpáticos , o pessoal da portaria foram super solícitos e o Walter do bar gente boa!! Fomos em lua de mel , e tivemos muitos mimos ! Vinho no quarto , uma massagem para minha esposa e um jantar privado! Adorei 99% dos momentos aqui. Primeiro safari confundimos os horários , e saímos atrasados 15 minutos , ficamos sem no carro cobertas... Pedimos para a motorista, e ela simplesmente disse que não tinha extra, foi péssimo porque estava fazendo uns 12 graus e vento muito forte(mas foi só esse caos isolado e estávamos atrasados), e o segundo detalhe mínimo é que no vento forte faz um barulho de "fantasma" nas festas da cabana

- Rainer (10/5): Fantastische Zeit in einer wunderschönen Lodge - Wunderschöne Lodge in traumhafter Lage direkt am Fluss. Wir haben jede Minute genossen. Das Personal ist sehr nett, die Villen schön eingerichtet und die täglichen Game Drives sind perfekt organisiert. Wir haben jede Menge Tiere gesehen und von unseren Guide auch viel interessantes zu den Tieren erfahren. Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Wir können die Lodge uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

A reserva é enorme, conseguimos ver todos os Big Five. Os guias são ótimos, explicam tudo em detalhes. Quarto excelente, é possível observar vários animais direto da sacada. Recomendo a todos.

- Robert (9/5): Memories forever in the Heart - Based on Ofilants river,we were in chalet 2 ,river bungalow, extremely comfortable bed , with great facilities within the room and excellent views. Good food which was a set menu. 2x Game drives per day ,morning and early evening. Excellent supplies of free bottled water. Staff are welcoming and friendly, service was always served with a smile and excellent. No pressure to provide tips which was refreshing , there are two boxes in reception to add donations these are then shared between all staff within the department. Veel wild bij de rivier, je zit eerste rang voor kuddes olifanten, nijlpaarden en nog veel meer. Geweldige medewerkers, heerlijk eten en fantastische game drives. Niets!

- Matt (9/5): Beautiful place - Location - views over the river Great guides and wildlife Great food The scramble for safari game drive places is crazy. They know how many people want to go on the drives and how many guests per room but seats are first come first served. If you are in a big group and want to be together (we had 3 kids with us) then you have to make sure you get there early but then so does everyone else as they cater to large groups. So what could be a leisurely lunch becomes a slightly stressful race to make sure the family doesn’t get split up.

- Simone (10/5): NYATI LODGE - um paraiso em plena savaba africana! - O lodge é maravilhoso, localização perfeita, quartos confortáveis, comida ótima e funcionários simpáticos e sempre dispostos a ajudar!!! Os safáris incluídos foram ótimos, guias e rangers excelentes (com exceção de um, chamado Henry, muito arrogante e nada simpático !). Ainda assim, Voltaria mil vezes!!! A única coisa de que não gostei foi a configuração do chuveiro que, Apesar de ficar dentro do quarto, ele não possui paredes, é aberto, ou seja, privacidade ZERO!!! Detestei isso, pois os demais ocupantes do quarto podem te ver tomando banho. Alem disso, o quarto é grande e o aquecimento não alcança o local onde está o banheiro. E estava MUITO FRIO em julho, quando fui.

Bons safaris, vimos os big 5 e muitos outros animais. Há animais, inclusive, que frequentam o hotel, é muito legal! Piscina aquecida. Café excelente, refeições boas, entretanto do tipo menu (1 entrada, 1 principal e 1 sobremesa), sem possibilidade de escolha. Boa variedade do menu kids. Falta de opções nas refeições. Não tinha cama de casal, eram 2 camas de solteiro juntas. Poucas tomadas no quarto principal. No frigobar só agua, mesmo sendo all inclusive.

- Mathilde (10/5): Perfection - Everything. The staff was lovely. The view is phenomenal. The cuisine is really good, and if you have food restrictions the chef adapts around. The game drive were great, the rangers really know their stuff, and the area. It is all respectful of the nature and of the animals. You have blankets for every drive. Thé chalet was cosy. When we arrived it was my wife’s birthday, and they had prepared the room with flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine. And for dîner we had an other bottle, and the chef baked a whole birthday cake for her. So sweet. We saw a lot of animals, lions and their cubs, elephants and babies, rhinos, giraffes, wild cat, impalas, and so many others. The rangers are really knowledgeable, they can answer all your questions. I really recommend.

Era aniversario da minha esposa, e eles prepararam um dia super especial para ela, desde o café da manha, que teve direito a bolo de comemoração com espumante. A noite organizaram o Bush Dinner, que foi realmente sensacional. Jantamos durante o drive noturno, na savana mesmo apenas com alguns lampiões e a luz das estrelas. Foi sensacional. Todos no Lodge foram super simpaticos, em especial a Patricia que fez amizade com a minha esposa, e ao guia dos drives, Pride, que tinha muito conhecimento. O almoço poderia ser um pouco mais caprichado, mas num geral era bom.

- Shania (10/5): - A hospitalidade é o ponto forte! Os motoristas dos safáris eram muito legais e se empenhavam demais pra encontrarmos os animais. Tornaram da nossa estadia um verdadeiro sonho realizado! No dia do aniversário do meu esposo eles fizeram um bolo e cantaram parabéns foi incrível. Além disso eles reagendaram nossa reserva em cima da hora, sem custo algum (nossa reserva era sem reembolso, então nós iríamos perder tudo). Se puder, peque um voo de Joanesburgo até o aeroporto de Hoedspruit, não é muito caro e poupa uma viagem de quase 6h de carro. O hotel oferece serviço de transfer saindo de Hoedspruit. Pegamos o voo da Airlink. Quanto aos safáris, vimos todos os big5, são 2 safáris todos os dias (já estão incluídos na acomodação, não se paga nada mais por eles). O primeiro safári sai às 06h, a gente sai antes do café e lá eles param em um local bem alto pra fazermos um lanchinho, o café mesmo a gente toma no hotel na volta; o segundo fazemos às 15h, também tem uma pausa pro lanche e a gente só volta pro hotel à noite, tudo escuro na savana, muito massa!!!! No dia em que chegamos já havia saído o safari da tarde, mas mesmo assim eles nos levaram, foi maravilhoso, pq foi como se fosse um safári privado, só nós dois. Fizeram a mesma coisa no dia da nossa partida, antes do check out ainda conseguimos fazer mais um passeio. Meu inglês é bem ruim, então eles sempre falavam pausadamente pra eu entender as coisas, se você tem dificuldade com o inglês não se preocupe, pois dá pra se virar de boa no hotel. A comida também merece destaque, muito boa. Todas as noites que ficamos lá o jantar foi servido em um lugar diferente, era sempre uma experiência especial (destaque para o jantar de domingo que foi no meio da savana africana, incrível, então se puder, agende sua estadia pra estar lá no domingo). Além da comida, são servidos alguns vinhos no jantar, tudo incluso no valor da hospedagem. Ficamos na tenda Hino, uma ótima acomodação: simples, mas muito confortável e limpíssima. A única coisa que incomodou um pouco foi um cheiro meio ruim que às vezes a gente sentia, mas não era nada muito forte. Acredito que seja algo relacionado ao rio que passa perto da propriedade. Mas nada de mais.
- Rafael (1/5): Como um paraíso pode se tornar um inferno em questão de minutos. - Até o momento que roubaram dinheiro da minha carteira dentro do meu quarto estava tudo ótimo. No dia do check out, ao sair para o último game drive, deixei minha carteira com dinheiro e documentos no meu quarto. Deixamos o quarto trancado e ao voltar percebi que haviam retirado 350 dólares e 700 rands da minha carteira. A administração do Nyati Lodge foi incompetente em resolver a situação e propuseram me indenizar com metade do valor. Neguei prontamente esse absurdo, pois o mínimo a se fazer deveria ser o reembolso integral e não um prêmio de consolação com metade do valor roubado. Infelizmente, como já tínhamos que voltar para Pretória não acionei a polícia, mas pensando com mais calma deveria ter feito isso.

- Ahmed (9/5): Thank you for this incredible experience – we’ll definitely be back! - Our stay at the safari lodge was simply fantastic – even better than we had hoped for. We were a group of six and were lucky enough to receive an upgrade to the Cheetah Villa. The villa was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable – we didn’t miss a thing. A real highlight was the heated pool. The food was delicious and lovingly prepared – every dish was a treat. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team on site: our safari guide Henry, who led us through the wilderness with great knowledge and passion, housekeeper Precious, who took such warm care of us, and chef Godfrey, who spoiled us with fantastic meals. Even though we didn’t get to see all of the Big Five, the safaris were a true highlight – full of exciting encounters, stunning nature, and unforgettable moments.

- tilak (5/5): Overall, while the setting is undeniably beautiful and some aspects of the lodge are well thought out, the service incon - Nyati Lodge is in a stunning location by the river. The rooms are spacious, and we especially enjoyed the bush dinner on Sunday and the boma dinner on Wednesday. The game drive guides were fantastic, and the bed linen was clean and comfortable. However, several issues made our stay disappointing: • Our 4-bedroom family suite had only one full indoor bathroom, which was very inconvenient. • The outdoor shower was unusable due to the cold weather. • Bathrooms were old and outdated. One tap leaked our entire stay — we reported it on the first day, but it was never fixed. Instead, we were told to stop using it. Very poor response, especially for a lodge where conservation should matter. • The use of plastic water bottles throughout the stay was surprising and environmentally unfriendly. • The master bedroom had two single beds pushed together, creating an uncomfortable dip in the middle. • Although check-out was listed as 11 AM, we were asked to vacate our room by 9 AM, with no explanation. • We had booked a private, air-conditioned airport transfer, but were made to leave earlier than needed and were driven back in a bumpy safari jeep with no air-conditioning. When questioned, we were told “that’s all we have now.” • Lunches and dinners were plated with no menu options, and the portion sizes were very small. There was no flexibility — you simply had to eat what was served.

- Adriano (9/5): Uma experiência incrível no Nyati - O Nyati tem uma estrutura bem legal. Ganhamos um upgrade de quarto e fomos para uma Villa muito legal, a Olifant 4. Villa com 3 quartos, cozinha, vista para o rio, piscina privativa e área social. Muito legal. A qualidade da comida é muito boa porém sentimos falta de ter opções para escolha, por exemplo: Poder escolher entre carne de gado ou frango. Massa ou arroz. E assim por diante. Falta variedade. O Safari foi muito legal e tivemos a sorte do nosso ranger ser o Nickel. Um rapaz muito simpático, perspicaz e conhecedor da Savana e dos animais. Baixa pressão da água no chuveiro em alguns momentos e a demora para a água aquecer. Mas, no geral, tudo foi muito bom.

Quarto com uma bela vista para o rio, não tivemos a experiência de avistar animais ali, que era o objetivo, mas existiam vários andando livremente pelo lodge. Chegamos após o horário do primeiro game drive e ainda assim disponibilizaram um passeio exclusivo para nós, ao longo da viagem fizemos safari em 4 lugares diferentes e sem dúvida o do Nyati foi a melhor experiência que tivemos com guia, especialmente o guia chamado Pride que foi INCRIVEL!!!! Extremamente atencioso, didático, além da observação dos animais o tour com ele é uma aula. Muito diferente de outros games que fizemos (inclusive kapama) onde o foco é apenas ver os animais e fotografar.

Vimos 4 dos big 5; faltou só o leopardo mas várias pessoas viram- não demos essa sorte. A reserva tem muitos bichos e os rangers são experientes ( o melhor de todos é o Pride- da uma verdadeira aula enquanto nos guia) os outros são bons mas não explicam muita coisa. Gostamos de tudo. E um lugar ótimo, tem tudo mas não é luxuoso. Nada

Honestly there is nothing I can fault - the service was spot on, the food each day/night delicious, the facilities and the daily game drives were just incredible. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a real safari experience! And bonus we saw the big five ! Nothing at all!
- Choo2drivr (10/5): Fantastic place for an over the top experience - This place clicked boxes I didn't even know existed. The accommodations were over the top. All riverfront. We only spent 3 nights, but there was animal activity every night. Elephants and hippos in and along the river, monkeys on our deck - between the game drives and the accommodations it was a very immersive experience. The food was elegant and plentiful. The staff was eager to make sure every need was met. They even picked up medicine in town when my wife developed some stomach issues. The location is perfect, and they have finding animals on game drives down to a science. The guides were capable, professional, and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Front office staff were genuinely amazing. There is a long dirt road from the main paved road. I understand not many people self drive to the resort, but for those of us who do, a few encouraging directional signs would be helpful.

A Flexibilidade da equipa é ímpar - chegamos ao portão da reserva cerca das 14:30 e ainda fizemos cerca de 15km em terra batida e esperaram por nós para fazermos o primeiro Safari às 16h (era às 15:30), ainda nos deram almoço antes. Temos direito a 2 Safaris/dia. Um às 5:30, onde antes nos servem café/chá e uma barrita. A meio do Safari bebemos mais café/chá e um bolinho (cerca das 7:30) e o pequeno-almoço é servido quando chegamos. À tarde há outro Safari às 15:30 onde assistimos ao pôr-do-sol com uma bebida. A nossa guia nos 3 de 4 Safaris que fizemos foi a doce Kayla, extremamente simpática e nunca desistindo de procurar os animais. Foi uma experiência incrível. Não há nada para não se gostar nesta reserva. Todas as pessoas desde a recepção até à despedida, são escolhidos a dedo.

Quando vamos para o jantar e depois retornamos para o quarto nossa cama está preparada para dormir, um cuidado e atenção ímpar. Os games e o guias foram ótimos, uma atenção especial para Peter e Nickel, que nos deram atenção e sempre explicaram sobre cada animal que víamos, os responsáveis por nos mostrar os big 5! :) indicaria e voltaria com toda certeza, todo atendimento foi atencioso e cuidadoso conosco. Por ser na selva ha escorpião, aranhas, macacos e muitos babuínos atrevidos, mas nada com que se preocupar mantendo sua acomodação sempre fechada e chamando o segurança para nos acompanhar durante retorno à noite para nossa acomodação, não passamos por nenhuma situação perigosa ou que mereça atenção.

For a family visit, I believe a three-day stay is ideal as it allows for ample relaxation. On the positive side, the breakfast is flawless, and the sunset during the safari is an unforgettable experience. Thank you for your warm hospitality! However, as a vegetarian and considering the high standard of the establishment, there is significant room for improvement in catering to vegetarian guests. The menu could benefit from more balanced and thoughtfully prepared vegetarian options.

The Oliphant villas are amazing and we stayed in #6 which was the most private and such an amazing large villa. The staff are outstanding and the food, facilities and surrounds are incredible. You cannot get more up close with the amazing animals of Kruger than you do at Nyati! Special shout out to our favourite game drive guide Henry, who made the whole experience 10/10!
