Alicia (10/5): Can’t wait to go back - I loved the accommodation from the moment I stepped through the door, the hostess is sweet and friendly and upgraded our room as a treat. We felt comfortable and safe, it was easy to access the rooms with no faffing about or overly complex door systems that have confused me at other hotels. I loved eating my dinner by the bay window overlooking the sea. I slept soundly and felt comfy, the size of the room was great and the location was perfect. A few minutes walk to Joyland, the mini train stop and open top bus stop, Brittania pier, lovely restaurants (especially the Chinese shop taste of china which I couldn’t stop visiting). A 10 minute walk to sea life and the largest big wheel in the Uk other than the London eye and a 20 minute walk to the pleasure beach. We were emotional to leave, especially the hotel. It made a brilliant holiday even more special. We will be choosing this hotel when we come back. The entire way home we talked about how we wished we’d booked for longer. If we didn’t have so many holidays booked for next year we’d be back in 2027 but we’re definitely going to be back early 2028 and for a much longer stay at this hotel!
Natalie (1/5): Underwhelming, disappointed, would NOT recommend - Nothing. Everything about this place was disappointing. At check in the lady was arguing with a man who booked and paid for a room and was telling him they didn't have room for him. We were shown to our room after advising us there's no breakfast due to no cook and there's no towels yet as these were still in the dryer. The smell walking to the room was not fresh. The room we were offered was boiling hot, very tatty, worn and not clean. There was black stains on the mattress and the room had a mouldy curtain. Very very underwhelming. This was supposed to be a surprise visit to Great Yarmouth yet we couldn't stay in our room, the lady who checked us in was no where to been seen so we just left our key and checked out within 30 min of arriving. Managed to book Premier inn at Norwich which we should have done in the first place.
Ellie (1/5): Absolutely horrible, left the next day to a different hotel which was so much Better. - Close the the seafront Mattresses were flat and uncomfortable, shared bathroom which WASNT shown on the booking page. Whole place smells of damn and has mould growing. The bathroom was vile and looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years.
