Ook diverse restaurants werden door haar aangeprezen. Het zwembad was heerlijk. Het ontbijt was goed. Gewoon een geweldige service. Wat een geweldig hotel Helemaal niets. Het was gewoon echt perfect!!!!!

Location is very close to Perissa beach, which is animated and cheaper than the main cities of Santorini. Great escape and beautiful views of the mountains which created a sense of privacy unmatched. We hadden 2 kamers geboekt en hadden voor 1 kamer een upgrade gekregen naar een nog grotere kamer. Ook Georgios zorgde bij het ontbijt ervoor dat alles aanwezig was en bijgevuld werd. The place was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was excellent and close to everything we needed. Special thanks to Angela for the warm hospitality and accommodation throughout our stay. She was very kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Any request we had was always checked and accommodated if possible, which made our experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Definitely one of the best stays we’ve had. Thank you again for the wonderful hospitality! Only a small suggestion regarding the buffet breakfast, which we truly enjoyed throughout our stay. The quality, taste, and variety were all excellent, and we looked forward to it every morning. Perhaps for guests staying longer, such as a week, it could be nice to have a few menu variations every other day to make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with the breakfast and greatly appreciated the effort put into it each day.

• Andreea (10/5): The best stay you can have in Santorini! - Angela is the sweetest and most welcoming host you will ever meet! She will help you with absolutely everything you need. The rooms were renovated quite recently and are super cozy, cleaning is done daily. Breakfast is super good, many fresh options. The pool area is super cozy, but we couldn’t enjoy it much because of the weather. If we ever find ourselves in Santorini again, this is the place we’ll come to!

• Peggy (10/5): Perfect beach vacation - This is such a perfect stay in perissa, it’s amazing! Only 10-15 mins walking to beach, and there is a taverna and convenient mart with 1-2mins walking. The hotel staff is so kind and helpful especially Angela, she explained about where and how to take bus to Oia, fira and other places. Angela told us the local taverna and other restaurants, we tried it and we love them all! We made some new friends in Margarenia, which are the cats and kittens, they are so cute!! The stay is clean and spacious, the hotel staffs clean our room everyday and change the new towels and bedsheets! They even provide transport service from and to the port or airport, we love it! We would definitely come back to stay here again. Nothing. It is perfect!

• Shailendra (8/5): Margarenia is a wonderful, hospitable, and welcoming stay. We would definitely return again! - Angela was the kindest employee we had ever met. As Margarenia is a family-owned business, they treated us with so much care and hospitality. We were given great restaurant recommendations, tips on where to travel in Santorini and Rome, Italy (as it is Angela's favorite city in Italy). We enjoyed how quiet our stay was, considering how Santorini is usually full of tourists and loud noise. The beach was about a 15-minute walk from the hotel, and most places were walkable. As Santorini is a volcanic island, there are no elevators at Margarenia. As our family did not pack lightly, it was a bit of a struggle to carry our luggage to the third floor. Regardless, it was still a pleasant stay.
• Anna (10/5): Amazing hotel in great location - Could not fault this hotel. The rooms are stunning, looks exactly the same as all the photos, with the most comfy beds, cleaned spotless everyday. The pool is beautiful, breakfast is great. But the staff are really what makes it, family run business, who go the extra length to help wherever they can. The hotel is in a great location, 15 min walk to perissa beach where there are so many good food options. 25 min drive/bus to Fera. 45 min (or hour bus) to Oia. We loved being close enough to oia for the famous sunset, but then be able to escape back to perissa at the end of the evening away from the oia chaos. Cannot recommend enough! La atención lo mejor de todo y la amabilidad del personal! Gracias por las recomendaciones a la chica de recepción! Nos hicieron la colada (lavado de ropa) y estaba súper limpio y con excelente olor! Por ahí en la esquina hay un restaurante por si no quieren salir e ir muy al centro! No es cosa del hotel aclaró, pero atrás hay un lugar en donde tienen gallos, y será su despertador mañanero si tienen sueño ligero. Muchos de los que viajábamos no lo escuchamos así que 50/50

Ze heeft mij voorzien van alle nodige informatie voor mijn verblijf en faciliteiten in de omgeving. Mijn appartement was ruim, schoon en ik heb erg genoten van het uitzicht vanuit mijn kamer. Mooi verblijf in een rustige omgeving ongeveer 15 min van het strand. Mocht ik terug komen zal ik hier zeker weer verblijven. Zeker een aanrader!

• Hollie (10/5): Definitely deserves 10/10 - We stayed here for a week and loved everything! Margarenia is a beautiful place and the rooms are comfortable, stylish, well equipped and super clean. The breakfast that is included is delicious and there is so much choice. We spent many days by the pool and it's easy to get a sunbed. Angela took such good care of us and gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants, excursions and top tips for getting around. We are so grateful to Angela for helping us have the best holiday. As a same sex couple we felt very comfortable here. We would definitely suggest hiring a car to make the most of seeing the best spots on Santorini at your own pace. There was nothing we didn't like about Margarenia. In terms of location it's about a 20 minute walk down the road to the beach and there aren't many pavements. If you hire a car though it's a 5 minute drive and free parking.

The family that runs Margarenia are the kindest, most genuine people you could meet – always helpful, always up for a chat, and full of great recommendations that made our trip so much better. They were incredibly accommodating and truly made us feel at home. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the pool was perfect, and the rooms were spotless and beautifully comfortable. Honestly, everything about this place was amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience – the best people and the best hotel in Santorini! Would 100 percent recommend to everyone and anyone. We would be back every year!!!

• Katie (10/5): Wonderful family friendly hotel with extremely friendly owners - We had a wonderful stay at Margarenia, we felt very welcomed by the owners, Angela couldn’t be more helpful and kind. The room was much bigger than we thought it would be and we had three balconies and beautiful views of the mountains. The location is an easy walk to the beach of Perissa, and very close to the bus stop that takes you to Fira in just 20 minutes. The breakfast is great, there are lots of good restaurants nearby and we were given some excellent recommendations. The pool is perfect and is set against the wonderful backdrop of the mountains. Close to a lovely shop, cafe and mini market. It is further from the town and beach than we realised and quite dangerous to walk on the roads so you really do need a car or be happy to get taxis (which we did).

Les chambres sont très spacieuses et c'est reposant de se prélasser la piscine sans vis-à-vis. Merci encore à tout le personnel qui était gentil, à l'écoute et de bons conseils. Supplement chaton très mignon!! Les chambres ont l'air neuves mais sont plutôt mal isolées (si vous êtes au rez-de-chaussée comme nous, vous pourriez entendre vos voisins du dessus s'ils sont bruyants ou les claquettes des autres vacanciers qui se dirigent vers le petit-déjeuner)
• Dan (10/5): Margarenia is a piece of Heaven in Santorini. - This location is a piece of heaven. Everything here is absolutely outstanding. The rooms are gorgeous and cleaned to the highest level possible. The breakfast is amazing, the pool is beautiful and the staff is all you could ever ask for. Angela is just unbelievable, she is the best host we have ever had. She is so helpful and knowledgeable that you won’t believe. Is nothing not to like about this place. Everything is perfect here.
• Isabella (10/5): - The property was amazing, full of staff that were so helpful and lovely to talk to. Angela is the Lady who works on the desk and I couldn’t say one bad thing, she was the most lovely person to speak to and helped me and my friends book taxi’s and also tell us about all the local places we could go to. The hotel is exceptional, in a nice, quiet area, with the facilities being perfect. Me and my friends never wanted to leave. Would definitely recommend and hope to go back.
• Alison (10/5): A wonderful stay in the beautiful island of Santorini. Thank you to everyone at the Margarenia. - Angela, her family and team do a wonderful job from when you arrive until when you leave. The property is elegant, an oasis of calm and beautiful. The room I was allocated had two balconies, one for sunrise and one for sunset. The room was clean and well equipped for my needs. The breakfast was varied and well prepared and presented every morning and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was lovely and extremely clean at all times. The recommendations suggested by Angela were plentiful and lived up to expectations. Angela was very welcoming of my family, who were staying elsewhere, to use the pool. I would definitely go back for a restful stay. Loved everything
• Giada (10/5): Soggiorno fantastico - Abbiamo passato una settimana meravigliosa. Angela e tutto lo staff sono super disponibili per qualsiasi consiglio e per organizzare al meglio le giornate. La colazione è ottima, la camera spaziosa e, come tutta la struttura, molto pulita. L’angolo piscina è ben tenuto e molto rilassante. Buona posizione, 15/20 min a piedi dalla spiaggia di Perivolos/Perissa (in macchina o quad 5 min, con diversi parcheggi disponibili). Consigliatissimo!
• THARSIS (9/5): Un service client impeccable, un endroit propre, sobre et élégant. - Nous avons adoré l accueil, les bons conseils, la volonté manifeste d anticiper nos besoins et souhaits. Un personne aux p’tits soins. La plage dégagée a 10 minutes de marche. La propreté des lieux Pour être un peu difficile, une salle de bain un peu plus grande serait idéale mais au-delà de ça tout était très bien.

• Liza M. (10/5): One of the best hotel stays you will ever experience! - We loved this hotel so much, we didn't want to leave! This family run hotel is a GEM. You are warmly welcomed at check in by Angeliki, who will share all the best tips for sightseeing, excursions and dining out. She and her parents are always available during the day to answer any question or handle any request. Top notch guest service! Our family of four stayed in the maisonette - a unit offering two clean and modern levels with plenty of space, including a kitchenette and dining table on the first floor. Beautiful lighting, comfortable beds, great wi-fi connection, and ample closet space. Two balconies and a topside terrace to enjoy. The breakfast options were varied and delicious. The dining area was bright and large to comfortably accommodate all guests. The pool was new, big and clean and the surrounding pool deck was spacious with plenty of umbrellas and sunbeds. On site parking is available for your rental car. The property is located in a quiet area so you can enjoy peace and tranquility but still be close enough (walking distance) to the gorgeous black beaches of Perissa and Perivolos to enjoy your day at the beach or evening on the seaside promenade, where you can also find many restaurants and beach clubs. This property is extremely well maintained and well run by a family who actually cares about their guests! THANK YOU for a beautiful stay on a beautiful island. There was nothing we didn't like about this place.
• Konstantinos (10/5): Ξεπέρασε τις προσδοκίες μας! - Μια υπέροχη διαμονή, νιώσαμε σαν στο σπίτι μας! Άνετο, ανακαινισμένο και πεντακάθαρο δωμάτιο (καθημερινή καθαριότητα!) σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, μόλις 3 λεπτά με το αυτοκίνητο η παραλία (Περίβολος-Περίσα), πλούσιο πρωινό, προσεγμένα όλα με κάθε λεπτομέρεια και το πιο σημαντικό, ευγενικοί και φιλόξενοι οικοδεσπότες με αγάπη για αυτό που κάνουν! Συνεχίστε έτσι! Θα το ξαναεπιλέξουμε σίγουρα σε επόμενο μας ταξίδι στη Σαντορίνη!

• Manon (10/5): - Het is een prachtig hotel met goede faciliteiten. Alles is heel goed geregeld. Kamer is schoon en wordt iedere dag schoongemaakt. Ontbijt is goed en uitgebreid. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en wil je graag in alles adviseren. Echt een aanrader.
• emilie (8/5): - Le duplex est spacieux avec ses trois balcons. La piscine au top avec de superbes transats. Le petit déjeuner un vrai délice avec beaucoup de choix et personnel agréable. La dame de l'accueil est un amour elle nous a bien conseillé dès notre arrivée et ne manquait pas de nous saluer quand on passé devant l'accueil. Le wifi se coupe régulièrement et la connexion n'était pas terrible sur la télé. Pas de pression d'eau au robinet de la salle de bain et la douche se dérègle facilement. Ciel de pluie dans la douche en mauvais état qui fonctionne très mal.

• Miguel (10/5): - Le confort du logement (lits, deco soignée, 3 terrasses vue mer, vue montagne, le petit déjeuner, la belle piscine vue sur la montagne, l’extérieur (bougainvilliers etc.), l’emplacement proche de tout et à la fois très calme loin des agitations d’oia et fira, la gentillesse de l’accueil Rien. Nous avons tout aimé.
• Mery (10/5): Struttura super accogliente e pulita, staff disponibile e posizione ottima - La struttura è molto accogliente, pulita e tipica greca. è in una buona posizione per la spiaggia di Perissa dove ci puoi arrivare a piedi. Ma anche per prendere il bus per raggiungere Fira e Oia. La colazione ottima e la zona piscina molto tranquilla e rilassante. Lo staff è super accogliente, disponibile e gentile.

The staff, the apartments, the outside environment and location. It was just the most wonderful stay of my life. It felt like home in a sense and the breakfast was exceptional. Everything so fresh and tasty. Nothing at all.

• Frank (10/5): - The host family are exceptional. Angela, Margarenia and George go out of there way to make you feel welcome and provide great information and local advice. The property is modern and well maintained with an excellent pool area and with nearby restaurants and a supermarket. It also boasts daily cleaning and a lovely breakfast provided. Not a dislike but the beautiful Black beaches are a short 15 minute walk away but well worth it for the refreshing crystal clear waters.
• Sanata (10/5): Excellent sejour ! - Nous avons séjourné avec nos 2 filles, dans un appartement duplex avec 2 balcons et 1 terrasse. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet établissement familial à taille humaine ! Mille mercis à Angela et à sa famille pour leur accueil chaleureux, les petits déjeuners, les précieux conseils en nous indiquant les meilleurs restaurants de l’île, les activités et les visites à faire. Angela nous a gentiment réservé une activité catamaran (incroyable), une location de voiture et taxi. Très bon petit déjeuner en buffet. L’établissement est impeccable, appartement (ménage et changement des serviettes tous les jours), espace petit déjeuner, piscine et les extérieurs. L’établissement se trouve à 15 min à pied des plages et restaurants. Vous trouverez également un arrêt de bus à 200 m pour se rendre à Fira (20min). Zouzou le chaton manquera beaucoup à nos filles 😉 Rien. Tout était parfait !

Amazing customer service and wonderful hospitality. - This was the third time my husband and I visited Santorini, but it was the first time staying at this property and on this side of the island. Initially, we were reluctant to visit Santorini again but we really wanted our 12 year old son to experience it. We thought the island would be overpriced and full of tourists. However, to our surprise Margarenia was in a perfect location and the hotel was amazing. Our room was large and comfortable. My husband and I slept on a queen bed and my 12 year old son slept on a twin bed. The mattresses and pillows were extremely comfortable. The recessed lighting in the room created a peaceful and serene environment. The bathroom was the perfect size and the water pressure was amazing. My family and I never wanted to leave the room because it was so calming. Of course, we did do all the touristy stuff so that my son could experience the sunsets, Akrotiri and the volcano. The “black beach” is very close by and we spent the day there as well. We followed Angeliki’s advice who gave us perfect directions and restaurant recommendations and never steered us wrong. The breakfast at the hotel was also wonderful. My husband and I travel a lot and we’ve stayed in numerous hotels in Greece over the years. In fact we never write or leave reviews, but we had such a wonderful stay that we have to rank Margarenia as one of the best boutique, family owned hotels we’ve ever stayed in. We were sad we had to leave. (Please note, our room had a small kitchen and dining room table. We never used the kitchen but it was nice to have the extra space. The pictures on the hotel site are accurate- which is rare these days.) Nothing
• Paulina (10/5): Polecam stokroć! - Śniadanie przepyszne i świeże. Wszystko na co była ochota na słodko i na słono. Lokalizacja idealna- 10 minut spacerkiem do morza. Niedaleko przystanek autobusowy. Hotel bardzo czysty, pokoje przestronne. Angela to serce tego obiektu, pomogła nam wybrać dodatkowe wycieczki, samochód oraz opowiedziała o wyspie. Poleciła nam pyszne oliwy, które warto kupić z powrotem. Hotel znakomity pod każdym względem.

• Massimo (9/5): Relax a Santorini - Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole soggiorno al Margarenia...Angela e i suoi genitori sono padroni di casa attenti e affettuosi. La camera molto ampia , luminosa e fresca con letto comodo e pulizia impeccabile. Colazione dolce e salata semplice ma con prodotti freschi e squisiti... La piscina dove il relax è assicurato... Nulla
• Hermina (10/5): - Eigenlijk beviel alles ons; de hartelijke gastvrijheid van de medewerker(st)ers van Margarenia en de persoonlijke sfeer. De behulpzaamheid bij het boeken van excursies en het geven van tips voor bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. De heerlijke studio, ruim genoeg, en van alle gemakken voorzien. Uitstekende dagelijkse schoonmaak. Een mooi zwembad, waarbij altijd genoeg bedjes beschikbaar waren. Het uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet. De korte afstand naar strand, restaurants bushalte en supermarkt. En de ligging toch buiten het drukke gebied. Eigenlijk niets viel tegen. We komen zeker nog een keer terug.
