• Laguna (8/5): A beautiful home away from home - We loved living in this flat. It was spacious and well renovated with a beautiful view to admire every day. The kitchen was great for cooking up family meals. Any issues we had were swiftly resolved by the wonderful concierge. Thank you for handling all our questions and issues so quickly! We had an unforgettable experience! The shower didn’t have a guard on the bottom so water would flood the floor every time we had a shower (which we had to mop up). It would have been nice to have some common kitchen amenities there too like foil, cling film, cooking oil. Even a bigger bin under the sink. In the bedroom it got so hot one night no matter how strong the fan was. After a while the fan would rattle or squeak. One other thing is that we had to baby proof the balcony as there was large gaps between the balcony guard that made us very nervous. We appreciate that there was an indoor and outdoor pool but the condition was a little yucky so we only went once. The smell of chlorine is so strong and there’s a lot of sand inside.

We used the BBQ , both Pools ( large outside pool is heated ) and 2 large spas. Lovely, large corner apartment on level 5. Really impressed with apartment facilities and the boys loved Foxtel Large TV. Would definitely stay again. Only negative was the restricted parking areas all around .......when family members came to visit they had to move cars every 3 hours. Nothing

• Dean (7/5): Location balanced out the issuses. - Location. Layout. Spa and pool A fan in the wardrobe. Was filthy almoust mouldy. No spare rubbish bags and cleaner wouldn’t give us another. Very minimal cleaning products. Had to go buy rubbish bags, toilet paper, dish soap. Bed in second room was very average.

• Lancelot Moroney (8/5): - Pacific regis is a short walk to the beaches, shops and restaurants. Great views of burleigh and wonderful management willing to help with any requests. Nothing about my stay was not to like.
• Karen (7/5): - Location and staff were excellent. We had a problem with an electrical switch which then required an electrician. The lovely staff provided a work around and then organized for it to be fixed straight away. Although advertised as having a sauna it was out of order for the 5 days we visited. The indoor pool was not heated and the gym equipment was also unable to be used as it was rusted through or simply didn't work. These things happen but advertising / booking page should reflect currently out of order.

The Free undercover parking was a bonus. The apartment was clean and comfortable with good kitchen equipment and utensils. The beach is just across the road and the patrolled area only another 20m down the beach. The pool looked a little dated and the spas looked dirty and cloudy so we didn't use them but noticed quite a few kids and some adults did.

Would happily return! - We loved the spacious apartment , great location and view over the water, comfortable beds, friendly reception, well equipped kitchen, pool facilities. Cleaning supplies were limited considering a weekly stay, vacuum cleaner sub standard, some areas needed cleaning (floor / shower vent health hazard) Toilet seat loose in main bathroom. Two tea towels and extra rubbish bag would be appreciated.

Wording in regard to unpacking dishwaher and putting out rubbish in rooms! This was done but wording on information was a little threatening.

Hair balls on the floor, Bandaid on the wall, sand all over the floor, the toilets smelt like sewage and just the overall cleanliness was poor.

The sheers are mouldy at the bottom and the paint is peeling in several places. The pools were not heated and tenants told us the heating broke between Christmas and new year.

• James (7/5): This place is in an excellent position and the views were good. The appliances need repairs. - The location was excellent. Very close to cafes & restaurants. You are right in the heart of it. The beach is right across the road. We stayed in apartment 24 - from the mid range apartments. Unfortunately the air conditioner in the lounge room didn't work. It turned on but didn't cool the air. It probably needs a service. The clothes dryer didn't work. It spun but didn't heat up, so the clothes never dried. It needs a repair. The 2nd bedroom didn't have an air conditioner and it is probably required with the heat of the QLD summer. They did provide a pedestal fan to compensate. Don't let this turn you off. The location and lounge room size were awesome.

After using the indoor pool, my friend and I experienced damage to our swimwear, including persistent chlorine odour even after proper laundering. Management dismissed our concerns based solely on internal records and advised their position was final, with no further correspondence. This handling of our complaint was disappointing and negatively affected our overall stay experience.

There was no fans or aircon in the second bedroom and there was a leak and lots of water on the floor in the bathroom that was coming from the washing machine, this was reported on the first day and still hadn't been looked at on the 4th day and that was disappointing. There was also water bottles left from a previous Tennant that hasn't been picked up by the cleaners.

View from the apartment was average - could see some water through Norfolk Pine trees but would not consider it an ‘ocean view’ room. In the two bedroom standard apartment we had, there was only one aircon unit and it was in the living room. It was programmed to switch off automatically every few hours including overnight. No cool air reached either bedroom and on two typically warm Queensland nights, the heat was stifling and made sleeping difficult. The apartment had been given a basic clean but there was visible dust throughout the apartment.

• Kate (9/5): Great Location & easy to walk everywhere - We had a side apartment, but could still see a view of the esplanade and the ocean, plus a view of the pool below. It was simply just a great location - we could walk to everything! In addition, there were Sunday markets just across the road, which was very handy. The greeting at Reception was warm and friendly and we had an issue with a fan not working in one of the rooms - which was dealt with quickly. I love how we were given discount vouchers for the local coffee shop and Surf Club on arrival. This is no fault of Pacific Regis - but the construction in the area for the light-rail has reduced lanes on the road and led to more congestion with traffic. This is temporary, so just allow more time to move about in the car. It was ugly walking around and seeing safety fencing everywhere. No real noise issues in the apartment because of this.

It was well kept and clean, located on the 13th floor (if I remember correctly) with a gorgeous view and spacious balcony. It was very comfortable, close to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants in a nice area of the Gold Coast. The curtains & blinds were not thick enough to block the light, which in December meant that we all woke up a bit earlier than intended. More toiletpaper would also have been welcome. Otherwise all perfectly ok.

It also wasn't that clean eg. when you moved a chair, there was a lot of dust underneath, windowsills were dirty etc.

My son is 6’5 and did not fit at all. And the fan was weird-above the light but didn’t extend out/over the light. • Kristen (10/5): I was so welcomed and relaxed at Pacific Regis that 4 days felt like two weeks!! - The staff on the desk were absolutely beautiful! I loved that it was so close to everything, just park the car in the garage and leave it there for the whole stay. The only thing I could say here is that I helped a very small elderly lady push her much taller/bigger husband up that steep driveway in a wheelchair, and another family also doing the same thing. A ramp at the front doors and to the lift would be a great improvement.
• Brendon (3/5): The state of the property was underwhelming and the advertised photos were misleading. - The location and the view was the highlight of the accomodation. The apartment was extremely out dated and the cleanliness was not much better. Every room you could find dirty areas. Inside cupboards, along edges around the floor, mould growing, paint flaking off the walls, stains/burn marks on the carpet, previous guest items and insects like cockroaches and silverfish. All the appliances were as equally dated as the unit and only one air conditioner made the stay uncomfortable. With the coastal heat and humidity it made it a constant struggle with our young child’s ability to sleep.
