• Karen (10/5): We had a great stay and would happily return to the area and hotel 😊 - Lovely hotel. Well maintained, clean and nice decor. Very quiet around the pool area. George was always on hand to answer questions about bus times, trips and the local area. A short 5 min walk to the beach with loads of restaurants and bars to choose from. Lovely area 😊 €6 for a small bottle of beer at the pool bar I thought was a bit steep but we stocked our fridge from the shop for a fraction of the price. Problem solved 😊

• Yvonne (9/5): Great black beach location with pool & parking - The location was fantastic - very close to the black beach and beach bars, yet was very quiet and private. The manager, George, and housekeeping staff Maria, were very accommodating to all our needs. I really enjoyed the on-site pool, and parking was easy.

Helaas waren er wel sterke windvlagen, waar door op het balkon zitten niet heel prettig was. Maar daar kon het hotel niks aan doen, en dat snappen we.

• Georgios Tsimonis (10/5): Great value for money! - Great Little hotel. Staff (George) was very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to checkin early (for free) as we were very tired from our trip. Hotel is clean, quiet and close to the beach. The bed was the most confortable one I ever used in my life! If you don't mind that there is no breakfast offered, this hotel is a great choice! Everything was great. Maybe breakfast could be offered as an option.

• Paulina (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful stay! The accommodation was excellent – very clean, cozy, and comfortable. The hotel staff, especially one particular employee, was exceptionally kind and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on! Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would happily come back. Minus: Reaching the property on foot with a suitcase can be difficult, as the path is a dirt road, which is uneven and inconvenient when carrying luggage.

Just a 10 min stroll down to the beach where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, it’s less than a 5 min walk to the mini supermarket which was ideal!! Boyan was friendly and helpful and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The rooms are air conditioned and the pool area was a personal highlight, it was comfortable, quiet, clean and very relaxing!! An added bonus that it has a bar where you can order drinks. We loved our time here and will hopefully come back one day. I couldn’t recommend it more! Nothing it was perfect.

• Andrei (10/5): Wonderful place to chill, close to the beach - The staff was extremely friendly, the interior and exterior spaces are very pleasant and well thought out, with tasteful design throughout and pleasant lighting - just like in the pictures. All the important (for my needs) equipment was available - parking, WiFi (that actually works well), air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer, enough sockets which are well placed. There is also a pool area with jacuzzi which I didn't use since I only stayed for a short time. The place is not far from the beach, there would be a 5 minute walk directly to the beach but it's through another property and not always open, so instead one has to take a longer walk ~ 10 minutes. For me this wasn't an issue, I don't mind walking.

Pool was lovely and nothing was too much trouble for any of the team. Cleaning of the room was a little hit and miss but that’s being extremely picky. There really wasn’t anything to dislike about this place.

• Pitkänen (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful and peaceful villa! Our whole family enjoyed the hospitality at the hotel. There was staff at the pool bar both in the mornings and evenings. For an additional fee, we also had pizzas on-site one evening. The room was cleaned daily, and we received fresh towels every day. We were almost the only ones at the pool area, and it was wonderfully peaceful at the villa. The host also guided us with local attractions and car rentals. Our entire family loved the hotel and the services that exceeded our expectations! Thank you for a lovely holiday!

• Dragutin (8/5): Mostly ok, great value for money - Comfortable beds and pillows, very quiet during the day and night except for the fridge. Nice outside seating area. Pool was fantastic, quite big, always clean and a lot of free sun beds in October. Great value for money. The locations was great for us as it was quiet, with included parking and close to beach. There was absolutely no one there except for the clener and no instructions on anything. Even though it had everything you need, room was very small. My biggest issue is the bathroom; there was only salty water (which is probably the issue on the island so no negative points here) and shower was barely functional with disgusting looking shower curtain. Although the beds, table and shelves looked clean, there were a lot of small details like dead mosquitoes on the walls that show not good level of hygiene overall.

• Gaye (9/5): A truly excellent hotel - Such a lovely environment- very clean, modern decor, comfortable bed and lovely pool area. The pool was one of the nicest I've seen in a hotel this size, really impressive and so clean too. Like the room, the pool and the spa are so tastefully done and modern that it was a real part of our trip just relaxing there. The staff and owner were so helpful and friendly and seemed always to be working, but enjoying it. It felt really tranquil there most of the time and was a great relief from the crowds on the west of the island. The air conditioning worked really well also. Like most hotels, there is some noise transfer from other rooms. This is hard to control and nobody's fault. Just good to be aware. The natural light was restricted but this may be a factor to do with how hot it can get outside in summer. Advise having private transport- which we did.

• Georgia (7/5): The hotel was in a perfect location, close to everything you would need, but attention to detail lacked. - The hotel was in a great location, 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and bars, and a mini market and bus stop at the end of the road. Big pool area, which was very quiet most of the time, very easy to get a sun lounger! The lady who cleaned the pool/rooms was very nice and friendly, and the hotel was very helpful in arranging an arrival transfer for us. The pool area does have a bar but it appears to be out of use. If it was opened up, with some music and TV, I think it could be really good, as there is definitely potential with it! Also, although the room was tidy, I felt that I had to ask multiple times for things to be replaced (towels, bins, toilet roll), as the room wasn’t cleaned everyday. This was difficult, due to there being no reception at the hotel. The water from the shower/sink was also salty, which would’ve been good to know beforehand, as we had no water to drink the first night due to getting to the hotel late.

• Maria (7/5): Great - Is a really nice hotel 5’ walking from the beach , was really peaceful with a nice pool . the staff was helpful and nice expecially Silvia which is a really nice lady and hard worker she’s the only one taking care of all the hotel . The rooms were really tidy , everyday Silvia was changing the bedsheets and towels . The barista Triadafilos was nice with us and really respectful he’s a great guy everybody should meet him and the manager showed us our room and helped us to arrange a cheap taxi to go to the airport . We meet The owner at the end and he thanks us for the stay , was really polite . The only think we didn’t like was the super early check-out since our flight was in the afternoon at 5pm and we had to get ready in the garden doing the shower at the pool shower . Thanks for everything The bar could’ve been more furnished and a lil bit of renovation would be the greatest think , and more drinks and food . The jacuzzi was a bit dirty but they clean it the last day of our stay .

Maybe it's just standard because it is Santorini, but I was in Greece before in nicer places that were much cheaper and with more services.
• Tammy (8/5): Great location, friendly staff, calm atmosphere. - -Great location, shop at end of road, 5 min walk to beach and many restaurants -Good room size -Limited amount of rooms, so pool area not over crowded -Room has everything you need, tv, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, hairdryer, basic toiletries provided -More of an apartment complex than hotel. -Be prepared shower water is salty, nothing can be done about that, just nice to be aware. -Toiletries provided are bars of soap and small shower/shampoo gel. Does get replaced but if travelling hand luggage only again be prepared. It is a help it is provided.

• Štúdio (10/5): I strongly recommend this place. - We stayed with a group of friends at Blackcoast Santorini. We had an amazing time. The place was clean. Sylvia was cleaning our room every single day. The pool was great and had salty water. The shop is very close, walking distance and the beach as well. We had the best time and we'll come back.

Short walk to beach and close to bus stop which takes you to Fira (and onto Oia). Our room (ground floor double) was quite small. Pool side bar was fairly basic.

We've booked the Anex building and we've been given 1st room out of the 4 or 5 in a row and when we checked in we noticed there was some water leak from the fridge, I almost slipped luckily hold on to the bathroom door. We've been moved to the last room and it was ok. Later on we noticed that wifi wasn't working, we tried to contact the landlord by no where to be seen. We didn't have the internet in the room entire stay,

• Tsitsi (1/5): Bad - There are no staff to answer questions and the owner does not speak English and there is no reception or map with different languages to guide you. Getting to the place is a hustle the buses do not move on time.
• Dhylon (7/5): Small and quaint hotel not too far from the beach. - We stayed in the superior studio room which was a good size and had good kitchen facilities. Room had a nice balcony over looking the pool and in the far distance the sea. The hotel was small and quaint, which was nice for the busy summer time. Good distance from the beach (10-15 min walk) and close to the bus stop to get to other towns. Hotel is run more like apartments, hard to get hold of any staff / don’t really know who the staff are. Rooms are not cleaned daily or fresh towels provided. Felt overpriced, but was probably more an indicator of the time of year we booked for.

• Lamai (6/5): Pleasant - The location and the pool. I stayed in the economy option. It definitely felt like the economy option, with small bathroom with rusty appliances (my showers handle had rusted shut but was promptly fixed when I left staff know) and the only cooking option in the kitchen a kettle that had gunk in the bottom. The room was spacious but the economy options are separate from the pool area. I think you could probably do much better in the area for the price you pay for the economy room.

• Matthieu (7/5): Great location - The location is ideal, and the staff is really nice. The pool area is great and the room is spacious. Really close to the best beach of Santorini, and shops nearby. Unfortunately we were a bit disappointed: the toilets weren’t clean when we checked in. We were also surprised no-one came to clean our room after our second night, even if we left early in the morning. Shower temperature is hard to manage (either super hot or super cold). Finally the room isolation is poor (noisy neighbours).

• Md (1/5): Even if get free stay still I would never stay another time on this hotel that kinda bad it is. - Only thing I liked there it was close to perivolos beach. When you book room be careful if they say Anex building as it is completely separate from main hotel and pool area .that anex building is just so worst kinda separately built that in your first look you will get shocked and yeah we felt it’s money waste as there in wash room or everywhere water was pure salty water so you can’t even wash your mouth with that .we did use bottle water for those work even which we bought from nearby supermarket. And they don’t have refund option so we stayed there but we just came for sleeping only that much turn off it was .worst part of our Santorini vacation. We prayed literally that our 4night nightmare finishes soon . Which room they gave not like hotel but a damn wasted room in between field. we felt it’s like cheating with guests because from photo you can’t understand that .here everyone sees only main building even edited photos but they don’t show that Anex building outside or how bad it is .just couple of photo from inside

• Carolina (10/5): perfect location, couldn’t have asked for more. - absolutely stunning property, amazing pool, greatly located, spacious room at a price that cannot be beaten. we were greeted outside by staff and walked to our room. very easy check-in. bathroom shower curtain was tricky to keep up but we figured something out that worked for us. definitely nothing that would keep us from coming back when ever we get a chance.
