• Yuliia (10/5): Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we truly enjoyed the property. The only downside was the unexpected extra fees, whi - The hotel is absolutely wonderful — starting from the large, beautifully maintained grounds in a quiet, cozy place surrounded by trees and flowers. The apartment itself is spacious and easily accommodated our family of four. The balcony overlooking the garden deserves special admiration — spending time there was a true pleasure for every member of the family. The kitchen is fully equipped — even with small details you wouldn’t think of, everything is there! The apartment also had beach chairs, snorkeling gear, board games, and even a nice collection of books. We were also pleasantly surprised by the convenient shuttle to the beach, though even without it, the walk to the most beautiful beach takes only 7–10 minutes. I was charged an additional $265 at check-in — for a $65 registration fee and a $20/day resort fee that were never mentioned before booking. I even asked about these fees before arrival, but no clear answer was given. Booking.com referred me to the host, but I believe this should be handled between the platform and the property — not the guest. I really want to leave a positive review — the apartment was wonderful and I’m very happy with the stay! But I also feel this situation was unfair and misleading, and it’s changed how I see Booking.com, a platform I used to trust and recommend.
• Kiara (10/5): Great stay! Would book again for sure - Beautiful condo, clean, and great location. It supplied us with detergent pods which were so helpful when we needed to wash our clothes. Pillows weren’t very comfortable.
• Kelly (9/5): Great - Loved the location, 5 min walk to the beach, private cabana and quiet location on golf course. The condo is beautiful, well furnished with state of the art appliances. Lovely lanai and gardens. Friendly helpful staff. 3 beautiful pools. 10 min walk to activities including whale watching, snorkeling and sunset dinner cruise, included in package! I'll be back! Nu Car rental was unprofessional. Tried to pressure me into taking out $200 of insurance and $70 roadside protection with scare tactics. I had to say no 5 times. They took a $500 deposit from my debit card & didn't refund it when I returned car saying they were not authorized to do so, only manager (Brenae) could and she was in Kihei, that it would be done the next day. They had no problem withdrawing it on the spot, but putting it back into my bank immediately was not possible?! Also, I had to ask how to start car and release hatchback; no instruction was given on how to adjust seat, where gas cap release was, and no manual in glove box and they were not in a hurry as there was no one in line behind me. No thank you for your business when I returned car. Julie was at the desk both times. Hope you take them off your list.
