Guest Reviews
- Jason (2/5): Not booking again - Didn’t do breakfast for 2 days The bed wasn’t Comfortable I got a back ache
- craig (8/5): -
- Carol (10/5): Great B&B all round. - Lovely room, extremely comfortable bed. Fab location. And Graham was a fabulous host. Will definitely be returning. Very good value for money. Nothing
- Shaun Craig (9/5): -
- Vasilij (9/5): -
- Claire (7/5): -
- Julie (7/5): - the fact that TV and one of the lights was not working when we arrived. Altho the Host did charge the TV, the light was not.
- CARON (10/5): -
- Lee (8/5): Great experience overall, no real complaints, just a bit out the way.✊🏻🏴 - Clean & tidy, nice comfy bed & it was really quiet, made it easy to relax. Location was a bit out the way, most of the entertainment was at the other end of the promenade so we had to get Ubers back a few times, but they weren’t expensive anyway so it wasn’t a big issue.
- Hollie (5/5): -
- chris (8/5): - Location
Comfy bed Shower
- Kian (3/5): -
- foster (6/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): - Booked last minute as an extra night from our previous hotel the location is good close to the beach, and fair bed was very comfortable and wasn't noisy at all There nothing i can complain about
- Caitlan Jayne (8/5): Great service, but 2 problem - The beds were extra comfy, and the room was clean and looked fleshly painted. The staff was friendly and the location was perfect. Overall, it was a good experience. Other than the 2 issues highlighted below in what I didn't like I didn't like the shower as it didn't have a hose attachment, and it was hard to lean over because it is only a small space, so it is mostly easy to stip wash . We were in room 12, and the toliet seat was a little loose and needs tightening. That's all of the problems we had. Everything else was great for our stay.
- Stuart (10/5): - Everything thank you
- Cheryl (9/5): Hotel was very clean and peaceful enjoyed my stay - Having to pay £30 deposit at each visit and no breakfast
- Tia-Leigh (10/5): -
- Claire (2/5): Got charged for "parking" (which was just a very small alleyway. - There was linen all over the "entertainment area". You have to iron your clothes in the facility where people are in the entertaintent area (which is just a couple of chairs) There was only one staff that didn't have a clue what was going on. We asked about breakfast and she couldn't speak English so couldn't have a conversation. The rooms are uncomfortable as they are far too hot, the fan gives no air out. The tv in the room didn't work as the ariel was broken. The "chair" that's used to look in mirror to get ready was a broken stool with no legs so the hieght you sat at couldnt see nothing. The cot wasn't up properly so took a while to do it ourselves. The bed was full of uncomfortable springs so didn't get much sleep. Although this hotel is nice to look at, there's not much else it offers. Also advertises food, kids buffet and restaurant. It dosent.
- Rebecca (3/5): Incredibly rude staff, unexpected charges, dirty room. - Good location. TLDR: The lack of hospitality, the additional charges and the questionable facilities in the room left a sour taste in our mouthes and meant that we will definitely not be staying here again.
Poor communication from staff regarding check in time. Having requested 1 month in advance to check in an hour later than their 5pm cut off, they sent a message at 9am on the day that this would not be possible with no indication of the ramifications or any details of how to check in. Unfortunately, we did not see this message due to limited phone data service on the day and there was no further attempt to contact us (e.g by a phone call or text).
Upon arrival (at half 6pm), we followed instructions on a piece of paper taped to the front door of the hotel to call a number to receive a check in code. The lady on the other end of the line seemed to have no awareness of what we were calling about and, after some confusion, told us that she would ‘call her’ and that we would have to pay a £10 late check in fee (no warning of this anywhere upon booking).
‘Her’ arrived 10 minutes later who we assumed to be the manager of the hotel although no introduction was given. She rudely opened the front door and demanded £15 with no explanation for this increased amount. When we questioned why this amount had jumped from £10 to £15 she abruptly replied ‘miscommunication’ and repeated her demand for payment.
After we handed over £15 in cash, she rushed us up the 3 flights of stairs to our room, with a complete lack of hospitality, and with no consideration for our heavy bags and tired faces (this was after a week of camping!).
In the room, she pointed to the keys and swiftly departed with our £15 in hand. The room was basic but mostly clean - a dirty cup and stained carpet were our only cleanliness concerns. Only 1 of the 3 lights in the room worked and the bedside table was a mini fridge.
It’s a shame that we will not be recommending this hotel due to the rudeness of staff.
- Natalie (2/5): Bad - No breakfast no bar No wardrobe hangers nothing a bad smell on entering tiny room and not secure enough I didn’t even sleep there
- Ross (5/5): - Pakis
- Burke (1/5): - Nithing Everyrhing
- Brophy (3/5): -
- Quirk (1/5): Staff extremely rude, bed sheets dirty and bathroom stunk - Nothing don’t recommend at all Everything about it was just horrific
- Nait-Abdesselam (10/5): - I liked everything in the hotel, clean , quiet, good welcoming, great stuff very helpful and very good location 👍 Nothing there, to dislike apart from the weather lol
- Richard (7/5): -
- Annette (7/5): - Cleanliness and not too far to walk to main attractions I booked 2 rooms but was allocated just 1 family room, so I, a 75 year old, had to sleep on a bottom bunk bed which was creaky! The lady in charge INSISTED that the booking was for just one room, despite me having confirmation of 2 rooms booked. The car park is just a VERY narrow driveway at the side of the hotel, for which I paid £10.
- Mark (5/5): The room served its purpose - Location was great
Price was ok Room was cramped, not much room to move
Person greeting us on arrival and departure could have been friendlier and more welcoming
- Mulvey (9/5): -
- Claire (5/5): -
- Fitzpatrick (8/5): -
- Taylor (1/5): Rude and not a good experience - Nothing the hotel is a shambles and poor customer service 10 mins to answer door building in darkness not inviting at all arigant. Everything only got to door that was enough to stop my stay
- Hannah (10/5): - Very clean, well presented lovely staff, mattress was bit uncomfortable but still enjoyed our stay, will definitely stop again
- Dale (9/5): Great stay, well looked after and comfortable. - Clean, friendly and comfortable The location was a little far away from the centre but that’s not the fault of the property.
- Joel (7/5): - It was good for the money modern shower was good room was clean Nothing
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Allan (9/5): good value hotel - location was ideal for my stay ,staff was polite and helpful. n/a
- Josh (5/5): -
- gary (10/5): - Went 2 weeks before.had room 10 nice spotless clean.this weekend had room 4 sea view room alot bigger excellent room.spotless .owner are very nice people. Will be stopping there again .Good value for money. Loved everything didn't find anything to moan about.superb for the money.
- Lee (7/5): - Close to beach and front
Basic but clean
- Amanda (1/5): - No food was cooked for breakfast
- Skye (3/5): - The bed was comfy
Bathroom clean
Location was great The television didn't work
The toilet wouldn't flush
Wasn't allowed food or alcohol
The staff wasn't very friendly
- Georgina (8/5): - Lovely hotel. Simple rooms but with everything you need, including a fridge which was great. The room was very clean and tidy which was very much appreciated. It was also a very reasonable price and would definatley visit again.
- gary (10/5): - The owner meet you at door to show you to room it was very clean all facilities in room small fridge. TV. Very good shower very clean .at a bargain price.we already booked it for our stay in October. 1 min walk to the sea front.cant ask for better than that .top class service throughout. VERY NICE OWNERS.VERY HELPFULL.THANKS. It was faultless.and spotless will always stay there on future vist to blackpool.
- Melanie (1/5): Terrible experience - Its location. There was a quiet period in place 10pm- 8am. Other residents were shouting in the hallways and there was a midnight curfew to keep noise down and we were woken at 3.40am by drunk residents in the hallways and they were shouting and threatening to beat anyone up for complaining about them. It was horrible. Not a nice situation to be in for a night away. It totally ruined the entire weekend. We had a leaky shower and the springs in the bed had broken and were sticking through the bed and made noise every time you moved.
- Alison Pell (10/5): - A lovely room
Facilities nice and tidy. New pillows are needed
- Noleen (7/5): - Was very clean and great rooms We found the staff wasnt very friendly not sure if its because they dont want children there or what but felt she couldnt wait for us to leave
- Ivan (8/5): -
- Alfie (5/5): -
- Katrina (1/5): Don’t be fooled with how it looks outside - Look ok from the outside - that is where the good impressions stopped First impression not the best, greeted by a lady with poor customer service skills. On first impressions room looked ok, but found issues as we looked around, toilet roll holder hanging off, TV no signal and no one to be found when we looked for staff. Corridor downstairs smelt heavily of weed later in the night and seemed to have people who lived in the hotel walking around. Wanted central but quite a distance from central - better places for south pier and Pleasure Beach. Wanted a sea view - got a “view” of the flats facing and a side view (if that) of the sea - accompanied with skips of rubbish.
Very noisy could hear literally everything from other rooms. Unfortunately would not return - wasn’t even that cheap for Blackpool standards! Felt a little ominous to be honest.
- Colin (3/5): Blackpool is amazing just watch we’re you book - The location was good and handy. When arriving we were met by a lady who wasn’t very customer friendly and had her hand straight out wanting £30 deposit, we then where taken up narrow flight of stairs to room and it was suppose to be sea view front which it was sorta with a skip right in front and seagulls all over it, then also the room didn’t look anything like the pictures on booking.com, the tv didn’t work at all lucky I had iPad with me, internet was great no fan in room either it was like a sauna. The bathroom was so tight to move. There was marks of the roof and walls and hole next to headboard, bed was uncomfortable could feel the springs. The blind was also worn so light kept coming in from both sides of the window. Also there was a curfew on this hotel from 12pm at night to 5am in the morning luckily I wasn’t planning on going out on the town I had to google this it’s not ok booking.com
- Michael (10/5): -
- Linda (8/5): -
- Stuart (1/5): Avoid this place! - Location Currently sat up on this damaged and very uncomfortable bed of this strange smelling hotel. Either the bed has flees, bed bugs or extremely cheap and harsh washing powder because both me and my partner are itching alot. The " curtain " doesn't cover the window so when the sun comes up the light will shine through. There's a light not fixed to the wall properly and you can hardly move in the bathroom. I dread to think what the shower will be like. Do not stay here.
- Susan (10/5): Well worth the visit.and will be back to stay at this lovely hotel X - Friendly staff on arrival. Clean rooms. Kettle in the room. Very comfortable. Nothing
- Joanna (9/5): - Nice place for short stay , close to the beach .lots of attention around. The bed was very uncomfortable, the springs in the mattress were hurting my back
- Andrew (10/5): Overall excellent stay and would definitely book again. - Room was clean and tidy, fresh towels the host was very welcoming and friendly. The room was extremely hot with no heating on
- Louise (9/5): -
- Alex (7/5): - Good location Late check in fee at 5pm. Get in the bin absolute pisstake, stop trying to rob people
- Stephanie (8/5): Really enjoyed my stay the staff were friendly and the hotel was spotless - It was clean and tidy, well looked after, there was also a security keypad on the door that you needed a code for on entrance after a certain time which was good, it was quiet and the room we stayed in was spotless had a fridge and tea/coffee station with some lovely biscoff biscuits , bathroom was nice and clean with the essential items and some little toiletries too. We came in a heatwave and it was very hot in the rooms but they did provide you with your own fan, I think you should have a little vending machine supplying drinks/snacks/sweets and even dried foods as such as the nearest shop is quite a walk away.
- Jonathan (7/5): -
- Alexis (9/5): -
- Michael (6/5): - Convoluted check in process - we have a very late message that check in was between 2-5pm and outside that time you would be charged a late fee. We weren’t the only person stung by this as another person also arrived late and got charged the late fee too.
The room also didn’t contain all the items listed in the description. There wasn’t a hair dryer and no iron when requested. The TV was also broken.
- Robert (9/5): Superb - Friendly helpful staff, nothing too much trouble and always available..
Complentary Upgrade Nothing
- Ruth (5/5): It was good for just a place to sleep. - Rooms were clean, the price was good for a few nights and you could just see the sea through your window, the place altogether looks nice. Being woken up in the morning by staff knocking on the door telling us to leave even tho we were booked in for another night. Staff don’t make u feel welcomed.
- Adrian (2/5): Couldn’t get to sleep for the foreign staff - Nothing Staff were rude and loud, up all night talking in a foreign language on the phone
- Shaun (7/5): Good -
- Aidan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Olatunbosun (10/5): Excellent and very conducive - Clean environment Nil
- Gordon (7/5): Good - Very clean When booked it was advertised with breakfast available. This was not the case on arrival
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vicki (8/5): Very good - Lovely hotel
Bright and modern
Quiet location
Would highly recommend a stay None
- Kevin (8/5): Handy Little B&B - Great Location, Clean Room, Bathroom and shower big enough for us, Stayed here a few times now and for the price it's fine. We have booked twice again over the next few months. Only issue was how warm the room is, Was a hot day to be fair but we have stayed in winter and it was still really warm. Room did have 1 small fan that didn't really do much. So in conclusion a couple of new fans in the room would be fantastic. That was the only issue really everything else was fine.
- Patrick (6/5): Cheap good location clean bed bit dated but for the price can’t moan - Location Bit dated no tv remote
- Natalie (8/5): Very good - Very clean Windows need to be double glazed because the seagulls are LOUD.
- Olivia (4/5): Disappointing - The bathroom , the shower turns off after 2/3 mins and goes cold to hot with no warning , the light in the bathroom also turns off after 2/3 mins and you have to wave your arms about in the pitch black.
The front door DOESNT work !! And the staff don’t tell you , they just make you feel stupid
- Laura (9/5): Ideal location for pleasure Beach - The hotel was clean and the host was really friendly, the rooms were basic but clean and exactly what we needed for the night. Nothing
- Pipersmate (8/5): Good for an overnight stay - Great location, very clean. Didn't really see much of staff as didn't get there until late and dropped key in box on way out, though was allowed to take the key at 11am because of this, which was a great help knowing we wouldn't be there for check-in times Personally didn't find the bed very comfortable but that probably personal choice. Not very sound proof woke to the room above banging away and moaning!! 🤣 well i supposed they were enjoying themselves.
- Trudy (8/5): Value for money - -The price!
-The room was bright and welcoming,
-Temperature perfect
-The mini fridge which was spotlessly clean inside, -Tea /coffee making facilities ( & biscuits!)
-Illuminated make up mirror
-Sealed soap & hair/body wash provided
-Huge bay window
-Lovely towels.
-Clean bedding -Felt very exposed. Needed slatted blinds rather than total black out blinds so you can dress in daylight instead of having to put lights on.
-Mattress very soft
-Pillows very flat.
-Bathroom floor gets soaking wet when showering, making condensation bad making loo paper damp, condensation on make up mirror.
-Mould stained sealant around bath/shower.
-Toilet roll holder bent & badly fixed to wall ( very wobbly)
- Thesaint (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hughes (1/5): Avoid - Location blackpool Lack of communication and hair on the bed with was not mine. said we could have breakfast then told us at 9pm sorry no breakfast was not happy disssapointed
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (7/5): Good -
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Staff very friendly room very clean & comfortable location very good TV doesn't work properly no signal
- Stephanie (10/5): Lovely, clean spacious rooms - The rooms were lovely and spacious, very clean. Nothing
- Oluwasegun (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephanie (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Chukwuma (8/5): Very good -
- Courtney (5/5): Great for a one night stay - Convenient. Kettle was full of lime scale so couldn’t be used. Walls are paper thin, could hear everything going on around you.
- Carly-anne (10/5): Cosy, relaxing tranquil stay with lovely hosts - Lovely and clean Nothing it was beautiful
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Corinne (4/5): Disappointing - Location was great I know we arrived after check in time, however, when we arrived, staff didn't initially know who we were. We had agreed to pay late check-in fee, and as soon I walked in this payment was demanded.
The room was small but adequate.
The bathroom ran on a sensor light. Unfortunately, this did not cover the shower stall and the light kept going out.
I would be hesitant to recommend this property.
- Kasey (4/5): not great - the room was clean the tv didn't work, the rooms were very small. when we arrived the lady who opened the door was quite rude
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Tanya (7/5): Good - Small hotel. Clean and quiet.
Was able to book in early.
Very basic but perfect for one night.
Very powerful shower . Nothing to not like really.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
