- Katie (1/5): We had to find a new place to stay - not like pictures - No answer Everything, it was such an awful drive or walk down to the actual area, it was so far out of the way. Let alone the room, lizards coming in and out for to the holes in the walls from the wood slabs, it was sleeping outside! It was nothing like the pictures, missing the TV, units, kettle that I paid for. The bathroom was dirty and like out of a horror film. We checked in, then immediately after seeing the room went and found another place to stay and moved resorts.

- Yvonne (1/5): Vi forlot stedet - Dårlig vedlikeholdt eiendom.
- Evgenii (8/5): -
- Kristýna Martinovská (9/5): - Krásné chatičky a velice příjemný bazén.
- Mohit (9/5): Superb -
- Elwira (2/5): Very poor - Sorry to say but this bungalow was just dirty. Understand it was supposed to be low cost yet that does not mean it should be dirty af… There is a kettle in the room yet no glasses 😶… u really do not want me to share my feelings about the bathroom or under bed floor…
- Dejan (10/5): Exceptional - I was here for 5 weeks and really felt at home, it was very nice. Thank you Adi! -
- Lesley (3/5): Poor -

- Katrine (10/5): Exceptional - It is a great place with really comfortable beds! The staff is friendly and helpsome. The rooms are big and have everything you need.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - The host was amazing, helped our whole group of 8 rent mopeds to get to some of the amazing locations in Nusa, which was super helpful. He and his wife (I think) were so helpful and always around for any questions and willing to give any recommendations too.
The accommodation is well located near loads of the dive schools (walkable) and food spots. It is well located to reach the main sites all being relatively equidistant (kelingking beach, angles billabong and broken beach in one direction in about 50 mins by scooter and diamond beach about 50 mins in the opposite direction). Despite being well located it is also quiet and not directly on the main road which makes the place quiet and potentially a romantic spot. Only thing I would improve would be putting lights in the pool so you can swim after sunset and maybe some more loungers (but there is nothing major).
- Sam (1/5): Avoid at all costs - The location is okay, that's about it Everything was terrible. We rented two huts out for our group. We weren't expecting much, given the price, but it didn't meet minimal expectations.
The huts are beyond repair and massive gaps in the wooden slatting, so bugs can get in. The doors and windows struggle to lock. The light switches don't work and the sockets are hanging off the walls. The beds were not clean and covered in curly black hairs. The toilets stank of urine. The pool was not clean because the pumps weren't on. There wasn't anyone about most of the time. Two towels given between five of us. No toilet roll given. Constant loud buzzing noise from some sort of unit in our room, kept me up all night. No TV. Kettle in one of the two rooms.
Booked 3 nights, slept fully clothed on top of sheets 1st night, then left. Messaged the owner about the issues but didn't hear back, was polite about my complaints, not aggressive.
- Ashima (7/5): Good - Rooms were clean Bathrooms were not clean at all.
- Tania (9/5): Relaxing in Adi Bungalow - Hi Everyone!! The hotel is very confortable and beautiful, has a big room, air conditioner, wifi, TV, each room has a balcony where you can relaxing, and driking. It is a nice pleace if you wanna be quiet, The person who takes care of the hotel helps you with whatever you need, kind and honest. I left my phone at the hotel and he helped me to taking care my phone until someone could pick it up. He was very helpful person!! The hotel doesn´t have service but there are some restaurants near to the hotel, and the ubication is very good, 5 minutes from harbor, and if you wanna go to the north or south of the island is very easy.
- Georgina (3/5): Had to turn on water pump to shower - Staff nice, pool nice (though needed shade, it was very hot), room was clean when we got there. No mirror in room, no fridge in room. Fridge in shared kitchen was not turned on when we arrived and needed cleaning before we could use because it smelled like something had died in it.
No twin bed rooms available, they only have single bed rooms. Was charged an extra 50,000rp a night for an extra mattress on the floor (I was not sleeping in same bed as my friend).
We had 1 room for 6 days before family arrived to use another 2 rooms. We were all supposed to stay 3 nights but we didn't like the rooms so left early.
Our room was not cleaned for the first 6 days until I asked for bedding to be changed before family came. Bed not made daily. Had to ask for new towels and toilet paper numerous times. No soap or shampoo supplied.
The most annoying thing is that we had to turn on the water pump behind one of the bungalows when we wanted a shower as the owner kept it turned off.
Only stayed as long as I did because I was diving and never at the room.
- Evaldas (8/5): Great value for money. - Autentic bungalow experience, small pool in a front. Difficult to get on feet, you need a taxi of motorcyckle. Road to accomodation is bad.
- Cameron (6/5): Lovely Bungalow but incompetent host - Lovely little bungalow at an affordable price. There’s a small pool to chill in (but I didn’t use it). The area is very quiet and less than 10 mins walk or 1 min drive from the beach. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. The staff except the owner were excellent and super helpful. Some smaller issues like inconsistent water pressure and temperature for showers. Poor Wi-Fi and not much nearby, meaning you have to be willing to walk a little bit (not recommended on this island) or drive. All of these issues though aren’t a big deal compared to the regular false promises from the owner.
The owner regularly made promises he couldn’t deliver on. The most annoying we’re:
- He gave me a great deal on a scooter, then swapped that scooter for a pretty broken one once he realised he wasn’t making enough money per day. I don’t mind that but he lied and told me the first bike “needed an oil change”.
- Bed sheets were only changed once in almost a month and that’s because I requested it. The duvet change also occurred days later. Because on the first day he didn’t have a spare then he forgot and I had to remind him.
- He claimed to have booked me a ticket to Gili T. He agreed to transfer me to the harbour. I asked him to confirm he booked and he told me “already booked”. The next day at breakfast I discovered he lied and hadn’t booked for me. He couldn’t help me anymore because he was at a ceremony but many other boats had already left or were fully booked and I should drive back and just organise it myself. That wasn’t great as I had very little time and no idea who to call (most ship companies have poor google map entries). Eventually his staff scrambled to help me, for which I am still super grateful. I made it to a boat with 2 mins to spare and sprinting through the harbour with a suitcase and rucksack. I had rejected a different ticket the day before because I wanted to organise through him and give him his cut. I had stayed with him for about a month and didn’t mind him getting the extra cash but it nearly led to me missing the next stage of my trip by a day and costing me a lot of money.
Moral of the story: always have a back up plan with this host or better yet, don’t book anything except accommodation with him.
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were so kind and welcoming, they made the stay more enjoyable. Great location to use if going scuba diving as there are a number of centres nearby
- Anonymous (8/5): Great little house with pool, central location - Exactly in between the 2 harbours, both very closeby! Clean place, beautifull pool It was sometimes hard to find staff and especially hard to find a taxi. There’s no place to eat nearby, so you need one, however we managed to find one and besides that our stay was perfect
- Sofija (7/5): Authentic and humble accomodation , comfortable for a night or two. Cheap and cheerful. - The property made me feel like we were amongst the local people. It was almost like we were in the village, I enjoyed that authentic feeling. There were chickens and cows nearby.
The property is small and the bungalows almost feel like you’re glamping. The place was clean enough and comfortable for one night. The pool was perfect temp and clean.
We hired scooters from a man there for quite cheap and went exploring. It was lots of fun.
- Greta (9/5): Superb -
- Anis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (3/5): Didn’t look like pictures. - Air con worked.
Good water pressure in shower. Stagnant pool… lots of mosquitoes.
No bottled water.
Put juice in fridge…gone the next day.
Distance from restaurants…wouldn’t deliver or pay extra.
Very noisy with roosters.
- Noe (7/5): Good -
- Antti (9/5): Superb - Location was great. Close to the Prapat beach and 5 minutes away from Toya Pakeh harbour (with scooter). Also close to Holy Penida (good restaurant) and Adi Market where you can buy water, beer and snacks. Breakfast was good and i ordered it from Adi. And you can rent a scooter from Adi. Adi is the best! There was lot’s of mosquites.
- Diarmuid (8/5): Very good -
- Bethany (10/5): Exceptional - Adi went above and beyond for us whilst we stayed at Nusa Penida and I can’t thank him enough! So sweet, helpful kind and patient with us whilst he organised trips, drivers and drove us to where we needed to go. Our stay wouldn’t have been the same without him. The bungalow was a good size, comfy bed and hot water. Thankyou for our stay :)
- Natascha (8/5): Very good - Adi was really helpful and was able to prepare breakfast, drive us to the port and offered to arrange ferry tickets.
The location is very local and we could really relax at the bungalow. Close to the beach and dive centres.
