- Paul (8/5): - This is a very comfortable and stylish cottage within walking distance of all Bakewell has to offer, pubs, restaurants, gift shops, clothing shops, cafes, supermarkets , hiking and river walks etc. It's very well equipped and peaceful despite it's town centre location. The log fire was cosy in the evening, and the seating was very comfortable. It was nice to relax in the bath after a day in the hills. The downstairs toilet is handy. The only things we didn't like were the added prerequisite to submit photo ID and pay either a 500 pound deposit or a 40 pound damage waiver on top of the cost of the rental price. It made it feel like we were renting a house for a year rather than just 3 nights which seems a bit heavy handed, and something we've experienced before.

Layout is excellent and facilities are both stylish and modern. Great for a long weekend stay. Not much.
- DeWitt (10/5): I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Bakewell. - Comfort, style, location, amenities, cleanliness, elegance..........you name it. Total value for the money. I can't say enough or use enough positive superlatives to recommend this property. The fairy lights twinkled me to a wonderful sleep on the biggest bed ever. Nothing. There was nothing conceivable to dislike.
