• jerry (9/5): Convenient location but no help from on site staff. - Close to Dukes bar and restaurant. On the beach. Free parking! No front desk help to get into room early or for anything during stay.

• Jill (10/5): - The condo and the resort are fantastic! This is our 3rd time staying at Honua Kai. It’s perfect! The management company was always quick to respond. They approved our request for a later checkout, which was very much appreciated. The unit 322, also came with 4 beach chairs, 1 beach umbrella, and 4 snorkeling sets.
• Kim (10/5): - Beautiful property, with easy access to the beach. The staff was extremely helpful. Being close to a grocery store was also very nice.
• Anna (8/5): Very good - Able to use facilities of Honua Kai and close to beach, shopping. Our family of 6 did not have enough shampoo/shower gel for our stay nor enough dishwasher pods for the extent of our stay. The property management would not provide extra. Not enough plates, cups and utensils and several dishes were dirty. For the amount of money you pay for your stay I expected more. The location of the apt is not ideal, right above loading dock for goods and services.
• Brett (9/5): Always great to stay at Honua Kai - Clean condo with most kitchen utensils to cook / bbq. Nice to have umbrellas and chairs for the beach. Beds were comfortable. This is our third time staying at Honua Kai because we love the property and don’t spend that much time in our room during the day, thus the balcony and condo location were not really a thing. A couple things to help improve- we didn’t have sheets for the sofa bed, took them off the master bed. Sink was a little backed up, could use a garbage disposal. Location is not ideal if you want to spend time on the balcony. Some early morning deliveries were loud but only 2 of the 6 days but I think the condo is priced accordingly.
• Lauren (6/5): I would stay at this resort again but I would not stay in this particular unit. - The overall hotel was awesome. The pool facilities was great and the location of the hotel was great. We enjoyed walking at night down the board walk. The unit was right above the loading dock. Trucks would unload every morning at 6 am. We got woken up every morning. Quite time is until 8 am but that didn’t stop the trucks. We left very tired. Also during our 10 day stay we ran out of essentials like dish washer soap, laundry soap etc.

• Dawn (9/5): Beautiful, family friendly resort! - Condo was super clean and came stocked with essentials for a week long stay. Water and icemaker in fridge. Elevators are quick and the resort has convenient parking. The pool, beach and Duke's were all fantastic. Sunset views are perfect from the pool or beach. About a 2 block walk to shopping center, grocery store, food trucks. The unit balcony faces the parking lot but has a nice mountain view. We knew that when booking and expected the wind but made sitting outside for more than a few minutes tricky. Early morning is best. The unit is also over the loading area but it is very sound proof. That didn't bother us but if you are a late/lite sleeper something to consider.
• Eliodora (10/5): We will be back! - This is our second time at the resort and we loved it. Great for families. My kids enjoy all the different pools including the waterslide and waterfall.beautiful beach with easy access. We love the resort. My only complaint would be about the extras inside the room. My cousin was staying in a different unit and they provided much more laundry soap garbage bags and had snorkeling items, boogie boards and more for the beach in general. Also the restaurant isn’t the greatest. Also check in was a bit frustrating since I was never sent the door code. I reached out to the management company thankfully they quickly responded. Again family member staying nearby had a nice email welcoming them with the door code available before arriving.

• Rosemary (9/5): Our stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. - The property is beautiful and great for active children. The staff was very helpful and polite. It was great having Dukes right there as well. It was within walking distance ( a long walk) of Whalers Village. Our condo was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The view was not great but then again we did not pay for an ocean or garden view. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property.
