• Will (10/5): Wonderful place in the heart of town if you are on a budget - Staff, near food and sites. Very walkable. Cleaning every day. Soap provided. I wish they had a fridge ! They have water and hot water which is great. But it is hot here! I wish I could have cold water!

• Solène (5/5): Other customers are very noisy - The staff were very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The small café at the entrance is a really nice touch. The room had air conditioning, which was appreciated. The bed was large enough for two people. Overall cleanliness was acceptable. Major noise disturbances during both nights (a drunk guest at 4 a.m. trying to force his door, and a phone/alarm ringing for about an hour). Guests did not respect quiet hours after 10 p.m., which made the stay exhausting. The bed was not comfortable at all, we both ended up with stiff necks. The bathroom is open to the outside, making it noisy (chickens, etc.) and not very pleasant. The bathroom is too small and impractical for getting dressed. Other guests did not respect cleanliness and left shared spaces dirty. The facilities feel quite old and outdated. Suggestion: The hostel should enforce quiet hours more strictly, possibly with penalties, to improve guests’ experience.

• zhi (8/5): 整体还行吧 - 整体还行吧 房间床铺人数似乎超预期，本以为4-8人间，结果似乎有八个左右上下铺，加上被安排在房间进出门口位置（印象中订房应该有留言请安排需要较安静房间位置），对睡眠多少有影响，本身睡眠不是特别好；存放东西的20号柜子有些小且破损用铁丝类固定，感觉安全稳固性不是太好，免费饮用水不知有没有（这次出行前面吉隆坡六人间就我一人住，下站就是目前在曼谷的青旅四人间目前也是我一人住，都是有提供相比做的更好些，房价也都比较接近）~

• Adam (4/5): - The staff are practically ghosts. Since I arrived (around 7 p.m.), I only saw them once when I checked out, and I stayed there for three nights. They don't answer the phone. If it weren't for the help of one of the guests, I would be standing at the door.

• Sifah (7/5): So far so good. - the location is close to the places you want to visit..strategic location I am using shared bathroom..Unfortunely i smell of cigarette smoke in the toilet. There is also a cigarette butt near the toilet. even though a smoking ban has been placed

Clean enough (outdoors) bathroom Only bottom bunk beds have half curtains - in some places that's ok, in others that may not be the most comfortable. Mostly quiet - but with some weird, noisy, annoying guests.

• aida (7/5): Anyway it was a nice 3d2n stay - The location is very strategic, close to tourist attractions. The staff are also nice and friendly. The room and toilet are clean. Maybe fix the broken floor instead of covering it with a carpet, imagine if we accidentally step on it. And please separate the women’s and men’s toilets, it’s honestly quite creepy tho

• Ángela (5/5): Alojamiento mochilero con esencia en buena ubicación pero muy ruidoso - La ubicación es muy buena. El ambiente mochilero se respira en el hostel. Los baños para ser compartidos están bien y hay bastantes. Los trabajadores son simpáticos. Es un hostel MUY RUIDOSO. En la calle de detrás está lleno de gallos, gallinas, ocas y más animales. Empiezan a cantar a las 6 am y están todo el día haciendo ruido. Se lo comentamos a los empleados y simplemente se rieron sin dar ninguna importancia. Nos encontramos además con bastantes huéspedes que también hacían mucho ruido. Por último, el hostel tiene un ambiente bastante distendido, lo que hace que los trabajadores estén charlando, riendo y con la música a un volumen alto que se escucha desde las habitaciones del piso de arriba.
• Sebastián (5/5): Horrible pero podria ser peor. - La ubicación. Aunque tengo muchos comentarios malos, viendo los hoteles de la zona parecería haber peores. Si te exigen que te saques el calzado para subir las escaleras, deberian ser igual de exigentes al entregar las habitaciones decentemente limpias. El baño privado un asco, lleno de pelos, el agua no corria de la mugre que habia. El inodoro con sellos importantes por todos lados. Las habitaciones no tienen vidrios en las ventanas, por lo que se genera un hermoso criadero de mosquitos y se escucha absolutamente todo de todo el mundo. Hay una sabana diminuta para una cama de pareja, te cagas de frio y te comen los mosquitos.
• Abraham Rimmon Pascua (3/5): Not quite satisfied due to "Mice" around the house and loud noise with other guest. - The staff are kind welcoming, able to assists, location is good in the middle of George town, where every spots are at walking distance. I am more relaxed if the hall way every corner of the house has poster that states "No loud noise in the middle of the night" along with that all guest must be verbally informed that avoid walking so loud on the floor", and there is a "MICE" which roaming around the house and eat my coffee powder and other food packaging. i hope this concern will highlight the issue of the Guest House, to provide better service to the new arriving guest.

• Silvia (2/5): Do not recommend - Pretty central The bathrooms were not clean. Our room got somehow flooded during the night and our backpacks got so wet that my friend had to throw away her shoes. Nonetheless we did not receive any refund (although we asked for it).

The door to the room was quite noisy, and since more than 10 people were there, someone always closed or opened it, so it was a bit disturbing. I was unlucky, because I had a bed directly, below the air conditioning, so I would always wake up at night being really cold, even though I had a pullover and long trousers on. If the bed had curtains, this could probably be solved.

• Alba Aguilera Diaz (7/5): - La ubicación era excelente, muy cerca de love lane y chulia street. Nos guardaron el equipaje sin problema tanto como necesitamos. Las paredes son de papel, se oye el más mínimo ruido. A nosotras la primera noche nos tocaron unos huéspedes que no nos dejaron dormir, en no haber recepción 24h, no puedes hacer nada, igualmente, el personal al día siguiente hablaron con ellos. La limpieza, especialmente en el baño, muy muy mejorable.

• Sachini (7/5): Overall good value for money because it was so cheap. ✌🏾 - Good value for money and it's within walkable distance to all must visit places. Nice quaint place! 😊 The bathrooms were common for all rooms and the showers were also within the small bathrooms which is not ideal. It was too small of a place to wash.

• Ellyza (9/5): Old but new vibes - The staff is friendly and accomodating.Always smilling and make us feel like at home and never felt lonely.The location is not far from the famous Love Lane or Komtar.I love the artwork and the ID for the double room and also the walkway.By the way,my room was like the opposite of the reception(Rope walk Cafe). Most important thing that they have iron and no deposit needed! I've tried using the password given for the wifi but failed several times and in the end,I used my own data.At a point, I could hear clearly the sound of plank everytime someone stepped on it(well,I couldn't blame much as it is an old building).In the end,I still managed to sleep.

Large hooks, preferably 2 in each bathroom for showers would be great. See above. Access to the cafe across the road to get water at any time is good. 2 smoking areas outside very convenient
