• Timo (9/5): - Wir kannten das Aura Samui von letzten Urlauben. Die Bungalows sind neu renoviert, die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, der Strandbereich wurde saniert und ist jetzt 👍. Das Personal erfüllte jeden Wunsch, wir waren Frühauschecker und bekamen ein Lunchpaket mit auf den Weg. Besonders erfreut waren wir von den Hotelhaustieren. Wir hatten 2024 die Jungkatzen mit versorgt, diese sind jetzt groß und sehr zutraulich. Sollten wir wieder Thailand besuchen ist das Aura mit dabei. Ramona & Timo Krasselt

• Fabio (10/5): Resort meraviglioso - Camera di dimensioni enormi, con tutti i comfort. Colazione molto ricca. Accesso diretto a una delle più belle spiagge dell’isola
• Nicolas (5/5): Correct mais à besoin de rénovation - L’établissement était bien placé et la maison bien équipé. Le manque d’isolation thermique et le fait de payer l’électricité à part. C’est stressant car la maison est invivable sans la climatisation. Aussi il y avait un animal dans le plafond qui faisait du bruit la nuit.

• Susanne (9/5): Sehr schönes Hotel am schönen Lamai Beach - Tolles Hotel am schönen Lamai Beach. Zimmer sehr gut, sehr gross, viel Ablagefläche, sehr sauber. Das Bad ist riesig und wunderbar. Alles sehr modern und schön. Auch der Pool war sehr gut und hat uns von vier verschiedenen Unterkünften in diesem Urlaub am besten gefallen. Das Restaurant ist schrecklich. Wie in einer Bahnhofshalle. Schade, dass hier kein schöneres Umfeld geschaffen wird, schöneres Licht, Pflanzen etc. Ein Beach-Restaurant wäre wünschenswert bei einem Hotel direkt am Strand.

Bad quality - non fresh and sometimes food smells like it is about to expire ( milk for instance) . You order something and instead they give you different things . The entrance to the hotel is awful ( flooded easily with rain , so you can not enter or exit by walking - need vehicle to cross ) . Inconvenience due to construction works in the hotel during stay ( loud noise near pool and restaurant at breakfast time ) .

Not much point having televisions in each room when most guests are German, French, Russian or English when there are no subtitles on any of the programmes
• Francheska (8/5): Comfortable beautiful hotel on the quiet side of Lamai - The location next to the beach is beautiful The rooms are also very beautiful It is a bit further away from the main amenities of Lamai. The hotel only offers a few sun beds by the pool and the hotel doesn’t offer any space on the beach front compared to other hotels in that area. Only the space between the hotel and the beach had sun-beds offered by the hotel
• Tanja (8/5): - Absolut empfehlenswert wenn man eine sehr ruhige Unterkunft sucht. Das Hotel liegt am ende vom Strand Lamai mit einem Roller aber alles null Problem zu erreichen. Die Anlage und das Zimmer immer Super sauber, das Personal mega freundlich! Massagen, Wäsche Waschen lassen (mega günstig und riecht sehr gut). Einkaufen 7Eleven, Apotheke gleich ums Eck, sowie Restaurants. An der Hotel eigene Beachbar und das zugehörige Restaurant selbst sind auch zu empfehlen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Hatten das Zimmer V02 mit Blick aus Meer! Traumhaft! Das WLAN funktionierte leider sehr schlecht und meist gar nicht!

Der Pool hat mehrere Stufen ( Wassertiefen ) es ist somit für alle was geboten. Das Frühstück war ausreichend. Warmspeißen waren eher kalt wurde aber auf Nachfrage über das Personal nochmal richtig Heiß gemacht.

Het strand had weinig ligstoelen en deze waren al snel vol. Ontbijt vond ik zeer matig, weinig keuze en de meeste gerechten bevatten varkensvlees. Locatie is ver van de meeste dingen en je had dus altijd een taxi nodig. Dat is natuurlijk niet de fout van accomodatie.

• Boon Wee (9/5): Good beach holiday for us. - Upgraded after arrival in evening. Jacuzzi unit facing the beach and sea. Perfect. A few steps from the beach. Sunrise view. Lounge chair just in front of hills facing sea. Villa has terrace area to sit and enjoy sea view or avoid drizzles. Also close to the pool and restaurant. Did not use massage room. Beach is narrow and coarse sand but can see fishes near rocks. Snorkeling is ok but a bit limited. Food places nearby, just exit hotel. Hotel restaurant is decent with adequate Thai and European options. Shower slow drainage. Shower head and not shower hose. Cannot throw toilet paper into toilet but has a bidet. Safe deposit malfunctioned probably from low battery status so we didn’t use it.
• Marianne (9/5): Très bel hôtel pour déconnecter - - L’organisation du resort avec uniquement deux chambres par bungalow et une très belle piscine - L’emplacement avec accès à une très belle plage - La taille des chambres dans les bungalows avec un grand dressing et salle de bain - Le personnel très attentif et de bon conseil pour les excursions - La flexibilité : nous avons pu accéder aux chambres avant l’heure formelle de Check In - La qualité de la restauration au restaurant de l’hôtel pourrait être améliorée. Cela étant, il y a de très bonnes alternatives autour.

• Silviu (8/5): - The big rooms and proximity to the beach. It doesn't offer a whole lot in terms of facilities besides a rather small pool and the beach. It's ok for a trip of a 3-4 nights, but for longer trips it can get boring, especially with kids. The bathroom also started to smell like sewage.
• Ann (9/5): Overall a great weeks stay in a lovely hotel in a great place with lovely staff - The hotel was clean and the rooms were very spacious. The breakfast was great so much to choose from. The staff were very accommodating and couldn’t do enough to help. Bottled water was left daily and if you needed anything else you just had to ask. The location was perfect for us. On the quieter side of Lamai which suited us as we had a 2 year old with us. There were plenty of beach bars and eateries within a very short walk but if you wanted Lamai night market or the centre you needed a taxi. The island for food and travel is very cheap anyway and we were spoilt for choice. The Pink Flamingo was a fab resteraunt only 2 mins away. Not much. I felt the balconies could have had a little gate on to keep children more contained as the stairs were very steep but not too big a problem. Also not many play facilities for children or shaded areas to play.

La piscine est propre. Le petit déjeuner pourrait être amélioré et le premier jour, impossible de trouver une chaise longue à la piscine ou à la plage.

• Myra (6/5): We had a pleasant stay overall. - Room was clean, staff were really helpful and friendly. We were fairly close to the beachfront and the water was amazing. Breakfast was basic but no complaints there. 1. A tad inconvenient because every time it rained, the slip road leading to Aura Samui would flood. Not a great thing to have to avoid dirty flood water on your way out to the main street or back to the hotel. 2. The music at the restaurant we had to endure every morning was excruciating. It was rather cheesy, melancholic, elevator type tunes which really didn't do the restaurant or the surroundings any justice. We strongly ask that you rethink your music selection - perhaps pleasant Thai folk music would complement the surroundings. Also, it's not a crime to not play any music at all. 3. Location wise, it was OK but we were a 25-min walk away to the main Lamai Beach Street. Taxis aren't cheap at 300 baht each way and the Songtaews we found this time round, weren't available when we wanted them (bad luck I suppose).

Es hat aber auch Restaurants und Bars in kurzer Fussdistanz. Die einzige Kritik war die schlechte Internetverbindung und dass die Dusche für grössere Gäste nicht geeignet ist.

You can walk along the beach to many bars and restaurants if you want more action. The breakfast had a lot of choices. The restaurant lacked beachside ambience and played elevator music which was torture after 10 minutes.

We loved the hotel very much and highly recommend. There are a few local restaurants near the hotel, Lamai night market is a few minutes driving.

English is rarely spoken and it is obvious that the staff has not been properly trained. From the restaurant to the reception, nothing worked properly.

• Jonathan (8/5): Nice hotel for relaxing short stay…not good for working. - The room and bed were very nice. The restaurant for breakfast was good with all the typical breakfast foods available and 2-3 local dishes every day. The location is very nice at the end of Lamai Beach with on the beach access. The pool is very nice but I believe it is a bit overchlorinated. The location of the property is away from the main town, but there are several restaurants and cafes. There is a small supermarket close by. The WiFi was very poor. It kept on losing the signal, and we had to login all over again each time. Not good if you are planning to do any work. The television could get YouTube and Netflix, but we weren’t able to get that on our tv.
• Forslund (10/5): - Otroligt fina och stora rum med bra AC och en stor tv. Badet var jättefint och utanför fanns en stor balkong. Ett xtra plus för morgonrocken och den praktiska strandväskan som fanns på alla rum. Restaurangen var fräsch och frukosten otroligt bra. Området var lungt med sevärdheter (ca 200 m från Grand Mother and grand fathers rock) och många restauranger i närheten. Stranden var lugn, bred och fin och man kunde gå långa promenader. Bra poolåmråde med närhet till dusch och toalett Personalen var otroligt hjälpsamma, lyhörda och vänliga 🩷 Ett litet önskemål vore att plantera ngt träd som växer sej stort nere vid stranden att söka skydd under vid stark o varm sol.
• FALCE (8/5): UN SEJOUR AU CALME - Les chambres étaient très propres avec une literie de qualité. Le personnel était très attentionné et proactif. La plage est calme et le cadre est magnifique.

• Linda (10/5): Excellent choice for a peaceful beach stay - Beautiful Sandy beach just a short walk. Excellent breakfast and drinks as we watched the sea. Quiet, pleasant stay away from crowds near fishermen village

• Nicolas (10/5): Hier fühlten wir uns als Familie jederzeit wohl und willkommen. - Grosses, sauberes und gut eingerichtetes Zimmer. Die Angestellten an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Umgebung ist (für Lamai) ruhig. Die Matratze war nicht so bequem.
• Martin (9/5): Great value for money and lovely staff. Great location! - The staff from the reception desk to the last cleaner are super kind and accommodating! Nothing is much trouble for them. The hotel is small, which is great as its not a sardine party by the pool. Great place for families. No family room offered. Had to pay for two rooms yetvstill stayed in one as the bed was massive. Pool and area a bit outdated with some missing tiles, but it doesn't trouble many. Food/breakfast could be a little better.
• Andrew (2/5): Terrible hotel and not worth the money. - The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The whole hotel was terrible. Bonnie is the staff had any care in what they were doing. Bad faults were reported frequently and nothing was done. The food was terrible, including the breakfast, and I’m surprised bit more people get food poisoning. Cleanliness was an issue with dirty towels left in liked for days in reception.

• Thaïs (3/5): N'attendez rien de cet établissement - Personnel gentil mais pas du tout à la hauteur. Communication difficile en anglais, au restaurant la nourriture est bonne, mais le personnel une catastrophe... Dommage. Il y a une grande marge d'amélioration.
• Brian (7/5): Overall rooms were great cannot fault it beautifull ,sea was lovely and clean - Poor choice not enough fruit eggs weren’t cooked properly all over done or undercooked Having to get up at 7.30 to reserve a sun bed with a parasol not enough if hotel is full you’d have a real problem needs addressing spoilt our holiday I’ve never had to do that in 20yrs .and on check out they wouldn’t offer us a shower room and we had a 9pm flight home so that made it a long day
• MARC (8/5): Séjour agréable - Plage magnifique, peu d'attrait des extérieurs. Restaurant passable Check in en retard, et le bungalow n'était pas à l'emplacement prévu. Le personnel est désolé mais n'agit pas.
• Marion (8/5): - Sehr freundliches Personal und sauber. Großzügige komfortabel eingerichtete Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Am Pool und Meer gab es aber nicht ausreichend Sonnenschirme. Das ist aber auch unser einziger Kritikpunkt. Insgesamt kommen wir gerne wieder
