• Stephan Jonkers (7/5): Spacious, but pretty far and basic. - Spacious, enough beds for the family and they were comfy.. Supermarket at walking distance. Surprising lack of hand towels. While we had one bath towel for each bed and basic amenities in the bathroom, not having any other towels to dry hands or dishes was a crutch. No electric water kettle. Ticking clocks.

• Simone (8/5): - Geräumiges Haus etwas außerhalb in einer ruhigen Wohngebiet auf drei Ebenen mit voll ausgestatteter Küche, 2 Toiletten, Bad mit eingebauter Trockenfunktion, Waschmaschine. Es gibt 3 Schlafzimmer und noch eine Schlafcouch. Gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen.

• Stelica (1/5): Not good - Good location if you have a car.Quiet neighborhood The beds were not comfortable, the bed linen is not of good quality. The furniture is damaged. Dust and dirt under the beds and sofa. The stove is old and dirty. Dirty plates put in the cupboard. Kitchen utensils full of oil and dirty and old.

• Maureen (10/5): A great homestay, comfortable and felt like living in Japan. - We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It is truly spacious and the bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping arrangements and are private spaces with real doors. Beds are firm and comfortable. Kitchen was lacking a few utensils but we were able to swing it - cooking breakfast and dinner every day. Full size fridge, pots and pans were adequate. I would say if you have a cursory familiarity with the Tokyo Metro and rail, you will have no problem navigating to all the city sites. Katsushika is having a moment as well (check out Keita Katsushika’s manga, Higashi Tōkyō Machi Machi) - you can walk to Shibamata (Tora-san) museum in about 30 minutes, nice walk - the rivers in the area make for nice walks as well. We walked to the Skytree which took about 2 hours but such an enjoyable walk. Trains: the nearest station, Keisei Takasago, is very convenient for both Narita and Haneda. You can get to the house on a single line in both cases. We did not come in to Narita but saw the Skyliner come through the station often. I believe the stop for the Skyliner is one station away, so you can easily take the local train back to Takasago. (There are Local, Limited and Express options). For Haneda, all you need is the Express and it originates and drops off at Keisei Takasago to/from Haneda Terminal 3. The Keisei line also turns into the Akasaka line at Oshiage (Skytree stop) making it very convenient to getting into Tokyo proper; going the other way, it stops at Nippori and Keisie Ueno with connection to the Yamanote Line. The distance from the station is about 12 or 15 minutes the first time, much shorter on subsequent walking. There are 2 markets in front of the station and one just about a block from the house (Blec). All are great and have tons of prepared or semi-prepared meals. There are several restaurants along the way too; it's a nice, neighborly walk. Not a dislike, just need more information on separating the trash and which outside bins to use based on garbage type (since we were there several days).

• R (10/5): Perfect - We had all the facilities in the house, fully furnished kitchen and bedrooms, lots of space. Quiet and cozy neighbourhood. We enjoyed walking there to the metro station. Really nice place to stay, will definitely come back again.

• Alan (8/5): Very good - This homestay is the best in Tokyo so far with free parking access in front of the house. The entire unit has 3 storeys, first floor with 2 rooms and a bathroom, 2nd floor come with a sofa bed , dining area, and kitchen for friends to hangout. 3rd floor with a small unit queen size bed. Overall, amenities provided is sufficient. I appreciate in future you can easily provide more plastic bag for guest since we will be staying in group of people. So, we will buy groceries, food and drinks to be consume in house. Therefore, without additional plastic bag for us to throw and separate the garbage will be an issue.
