Anne-Marie (9/5): Très agréable séjour - Grand appartement très bien situé, bien équipé, calme, belle vue, avec une terrasse agréable et ensoleillée, proche d’une piscine, proche de la supérette et de la réception. Parc très bien entretenu avec de très belles fleurs. Certains jours il y avait des vacanciers très bruyants autour de la piscine, ils parlaient très fort et riaient beaucoup et très fort. Impossible de se détendre au bord de la piscine. Il y a eu aussi quelques jeunes qui jouaient au ballon autour de la piscine.

Lee (10/5): Highly recommend for relaxing break - The Golf Village exceeded my expectations as it is not down as a highly starred property but so I was expecting basic. But the apartment which I stayed in was lovely, clean, large with two balconies and over looking the block pool very close to reception. The pool areas were so clean. We had drinks, lunch and breakfast at the main bar and that pool area was also beautiful. The staff were so helpful, polite and just overall pleasant to deal with. Perfect location if you want to be away from the nightlife but only pay €7 to get there and Ubers are always available. In walking distance there are numerous supermarkets, small bars and restaurants for a relaxing time from the resort with the beach about an 8 minute walk too. I completely enjoyed the silence and peace of the resort but with everything you needed so close. I would love to go back and sure I will be in the future. Check-in is 5PM and check-out is 10AM. I do think this policy should be looked at. 5PM is nearly the day gone. Although you can use the facilities it is not acceptable to have a check in policy so late. I feel hotels are getting later and later for check in and earlier for check out

The golf village was beautiful and chilled with lots of greenery and pools, as was the Beach 10 mins walk away. Staff were extremely helpful. Early in season the pool was freezing but the children still braved it. It was a shame the restaurants closed earlier as it was early in the season. Golf more expensive than expected.

Evelina (1/5): Unacceptable hygiene standards and extremely poor service. - green areas are well maintained and visually pleasant. The experience was extremely poor. The room was infested with ants — they were on the tables, beds, in the bathroom and kitchen, and there was an actual nest in one of the bedrooms. They were literally everywhere. The room itself felt stale and dirty. When I called reception, I had to wait 20 minutes before a very rude and unwelcoming receptionist sent someone to check the room. The staff confirmed the room needed to be changed, yet the receptionist did not apologize, showed no empathy, and offered no assistance or compensation.

No stemmed wine glasses or cereal bowls, supplied. Shower curtain not screen which I found unpleasant, heaters took a while to warm the place up, and we couldn't get the drier to work properly..

Apartment little run down could do with a spruce up. Beds a bit hard. Remotes for tv and aircon/ heating didn't seem to work .
Graham (10/5): Superb resort, fun for all the family. - Fantastic location, excellent facilities, great staff everywhere and the onsite bistro and golf clubhouse food was superb! Stayed in a 2 bed villa with a kitchen looking over the course which was well equipped with everything we needed, very comfortable all round and peaceful every evening. The 9-hole golf course is a great little challenge. We booked again for later in the year halfway through our stay! Thanks to all the great people at Balaia…see you in a few months. N/A

Eric (8/5): Parfait pour nous - Notre logement à quelques mètres de la 1ère piscine (il y en plusieurs), le magnifique parc très bien entretenu, la tranquillité et le calme, le petit commerce juste à côté, les équipement du logis et la proximité d'albufeira (moins de 10 min en voiture). 3 restaurants sont accessibles dans le complexe, bref nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrons sûrement. Nous sommes ravis. Comme vu dans d'anciens commentaires, c'est vrai qu'un peu de réfection serait bien vu pour remettre le logement un peu au goût du jour car on voit que ce n'est pas tout jeune mais cela n'a eu aucune incidence sur notre séjour.

É uma funcionária extremamente competente, amável e fez uma enorme diferença na nossa valorização da estadia. Tivemos uma casa à nossa medida e os espaços comuns do BGV estão muito bem tratados. Ambiente familiar e bonito. A casa estava pouco limpa, faltavam toalhas e também alguns utensílios básicos na cozinha. O pior foi a máquina de lavar louça que estava estragada e um dos funcionários que nos ajudou na segunda visita que lá fez foi extremamente rude. Nada que não ficasse resolvido com rapidez, pela mão da Ana.

Akshaya (9/5): Very good - Check in was quick, early check in was replied with depending on availability so we didn't bother going early, huge complex, so some of the apartments are far, apartment itself was located right next to the reception, view was adjacent building but very spacious apartment, fully fledged kitchen, all the rooms had AC, clean, neutral decor, overall very good, they let us check out late on New year's day which was a nice gesture, some minor maintenance needed (like replacement bulbs, some of wiring out of sockets, working washing machine) . Daniel (9/5): - 2 adultos 2 niños. Sitio ideal para estar con la familia, incluso pasando el fin de año. A los niños les encantó la piscina climatizada y el jacuzzi, a los mayores la tranquilidad del lugar. Al quedar tan cerca visitamos en coche muchos sitios del Algarve Faro, Sagres, Cabo de San Vicente, Portimao, Lagos, Cuevas de Benagil... Incluso nos dimos el salto a Lisboa un día. Experiencia fantástica. Hasta ver llover es bonito en el Algarve. Todo estupendo.
