• Sabby (8/5): Everything was perfect except for the missing curtain, this trip really allowed us to fall in love with Maui! - I loved how homey it felt. All amenities were present and the location was amazing as well! I didn’t like how the balcony space had no curtain, seemed like a big lack of privacy. It felt like people could directly see into the property at the right angle.
• Karen (5/5): I would not return to this unit. I paid way to much per night when my first impressions “this place is a dump” - I liked the tall ceilings. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. The place is outdated. I mean 1960’s old. The carpet was filthy. The pool was too small. The upstairs bathroom door would not close.

• Wayne (8/5): Nice but not handicapped friendly. - Location, roomy, appliances, bed comfortable, everything was great. Purpose of the trip was to celebrate my mother’s 100 th birthday. She lost her home in the Lahaina Wildfire and has been living in Hilo temporarily. It was not handicap friendly. And I should have inquired about it but don’t recall having an opportunity to do so. First of all, the unit is on the 2nd floor, and part of the railing was damaged/wobbly. No elevator. The master bedroom king size bed was too high for her to get up on the bed herself. The water heater temperature was set too low so hot water would run out fast before everyone could shower. If there was an onsite office, we were not aware of. The off site (Honolulu) office closed at 5pm so any issues after 5 (like being locked out) would have been an issue. In fact we did have an issue with the electronic keypad lock would not work and the emergency key in the lockbox also malfunctioned. Fortunately this was before 5 pm so problem could be dealt with.
