The host was extremely helpful, he even picked up our lost luggage from the airport service and placed it in our room, which we truly appreciated. The facilities were in excellent condition; everything felt new and stylish. The location is perfect, right in the center, yet on a quiet street, so there was no excessive noise. Everything was really nice, nothing to complain about.

• Elvan (10/5): Definitely recommend - It could be one of my favorite stays that I have ever experienced. The owner was very sweet and polite. It had a home feeling while being taken care of almost like a hotel guest. Definitely recommend and location is great because its close to everything. Was worried because before coming I saw the comment the location being a bit sketchy but I found the comment very wrong. The whole of athens has the vibe of graffiti filled streets so I think it was safe and convenient. I stayed for 8 days and will come back :)

Check-in and access were very easy, and our host Stratos was extremely attentive and helpful. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the central areas, but the location itself feels very pleasant and enjoyable. Definitely recommended.

Easy walk to and around the acropolis but this was November so nice weather to walk around only improvement would be the amount of noise from other guests entering and walking through making noise in the early hours of the morning. a quieter access lock could be an improvement.

Easy to get to many places and great coffee bar very close by. It was a bit noisy for me - lots of construction from early in the morning and could hear a local club partying until very late at night. I’m a light sleeper so it wasn’t the best for me. Not the apartment’s fault however and my daughter didn’t even notice so not everyone would have an issue

• Carina (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage - Lage war super und obwohl der Gastgeber bei der Ankunft nicht da war, hat er uns den Check-in Prozess sehr verständlich übers Telefon erklärt. Außerdem hat er uns gute Infos und Tipps beispielsweise zur Metro geschickt, was sehr hilfreich war. Es war auch sehr sauber und wir haben sogar neue Kaffee Kapseln bekommen. Leider waren die Wände sehr dünn, sodass man in der Wohnung alles gehört hat was auf dem Flur oder der Wohnung nebenan passierte. Außerdem wäre Salz in der Küche nett, da man das ja beim Reisen eher weniger mitnimmt. Aber das sind die einzigen Kritikpunkte.
• Michael (10/5): A perfect apartment-an oasis in a troubled city. - Rate Kin Athens is a beautifully renovated apartment in a residential building in central Athens, divided into several guest units connected by a narrow hallway. The property is in fantastic condition-spotlessly clean and impressively maintained. Everything feels fresh and new. The host was exceptional: he reached out before our arrival, greeted us warmly, and gave a helpful briefing about the apartment and Athens in general. The apartment was perfectly equipped with kitchenware, basic amenities, comfortable beds, clean towels, a cozy living room, dining table with chairs, and powerful air conditioning in all rooms. There was even a well-maintained laundry room with multiple washers and dryers, and no waiting time. Clear instructions in English were provided, and the host was always available via WhatsApp. Entry was secure with both a key and a code, which made us feel safe throughout our stay. As a thoughtful touch, there were even candies and chocolates for the kids. We had no issues with hot water or water pressure-the shower worked perfectly. There was nothing negative to say about the apartment itself-it was flawless. However, Athens as a city was deeply disappointing. Aside from the host, we didn’t encounter a single local Greek. The city felt unsafe, filled with crime, hateful graffiti, and swastikas on nearly every corner. In this context, the apartment stood out as the only bright spot in the heart of the city. If you must stay in central Athens, I wholeheartedly recommend this place and only this place.

• Susan (10/5): Definitely a home away from home - Everything! The property manager Stratos contacted us right after we landed. He informed us of the 24 hour strike that caused all taxi/bus/uber services to halt. Fortunately for us, metro was running until 5 pm and with instructions from Stratos, we were able to get to Kin with no trouble. The property is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. We were there for 3 nights and, except to/from the airport, we walked everywhere and saw so much of Athens. Also loved having a coffee shop across the street and a wine bar next to it :)

We only stayed at Kin Athens for one night, and it was perfect for this. The room was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for the short stay. Some may not love the location (maybe avoid if you have small children?) but personally we did not find this to be an issue. Much of Athens is in a similar condition. Pay attention to your surroundings and you will be fine.

The laundry we did that morning was not dry yet and he was very kind to take it out of the dryer for us while we were out- truly above and beyond! Would definitely recommend! Nothing
