• Vincent (9/5): - Venu seul pour quelques jours, le séjour était très agréable dans cette petite suite à l'étage avec pignon sur rue. La bâtisse très ancienne a été rénovée avec élégance. Christopher a tout fait pour que je me sente à l'aise dès mon arrivée. le lit était confortable et tout fonctionnait comme il se doit. Un endroit parfait pour une halte dans la région. Digne d'un hôtel 4 Etoiles!

• Laura (8/5): Lugar con mucho encanto y donde se puede descansar 100% - La atención del propietario y sus indicaciones para que llegáramos al alojamiento bien, para encontrar lugar donde cenar. Muy cuidado y todo con gran detalle en el alojamiento. No podía dejar suelta a mi mascota en el jardín.

• Eli (9/5): חוויה חיובית אצל זוג מארחים המעוניינים בטובת האורחים. - המלון ממוקם בתוך מבנה מהמאה ה-17. למרות זאת, הכל היה תקין, ואפילו הדליקו לנו חימום לפני שהגענו. זוג המארחים חביבים במידה בלתי רגילה, נעים לשבת ולשוחח איתם. הם סיפקו המלצות טובות לגבי ארוחת הערב ולגבי הנסיעה ביום הבא. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה סבירה. אהבנו הכל, אבל ניתן היה לשים לב שהמארחים אינם מנוסים בתחום. המקום קצת מרוחק מהאטרקציות המקובלות, אבל העיירה היפה מפצה על כך.

• Kathleen (10/5): - We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de hosts die ons een rondleiding gaven rond het appartement. Het appartement is centaal gelegen en heeft een zeer aangename tuin om in te vertoeven met mooi weer. We reisden met 4 personen (ik, mijn echtgenoot en onze 2 kinderen van 16 en 18 jaar) - de kinderen hebben op de bovenverdieping gelegen en genoten van een zeer goede nachtrust (donker, stil en goede bedden), ook wij hebben goed geslapen in het zetelbed op de gelijkvloers. Ook onze hond die mee reisde werd zeer goed ontvangen. er is geen parking aan het verblijf zelf, maar je kan er wel kort stilstaan om de bagage uit en in te laden. Verder is er vlakbij voldoende gratis parking in de buurt zodat dit eigenlijk geen issue is.

Kristofers pielāgojās mūsu ierašanās laikam un sagaidīja mūs personīgi, lai iepazītos un izrādītu naktsmītni. Lai arī naktsmītnē nav pieejama autostāvvietā, tādu vienmēr var atrast pie netālu esošā pašvaldības kempinga 2 minūšu pastaigas attālumā no īpašuma. Pati pastaiga līdz auto bija patīkama- pa šauru-gājējiem paredzētu ieliņu pāri sīciņai upītei-jauki. Dzīvoklis ir diezgan liels un ērts, ar atsevišķu ieeju no dārza. Dārzā ir iespējams atpūsties vai ieturēt maltīti pie dārza galda. Ļoti romantisks zaļš un kluss stūrītis. No rītiem caur virtuves durvīm varēja vērot baložu pārus, kas dūkoja dārzā. Virtuves aprīkojums ir lielisks- tur bija viss, ko vien var vēlēties- cepeškrāsns, plīts, trauku mazgājamā mašīna, mikroviļņu krāsns, kafijas aparāts, visi nepieciešamie trauki utt. Jutāmies kā mājās. Kristofers bija parūpējies arī par kafiju , cepumiem, papīra dvieļiem. Gultas šajā naktsmītnē ir brīnišķīgi ērtas, lai lieliski izgulētos. Nodzīvojām te 5 naktis, jo Livarot pilsēta ir kaut kur pa vidu visām tām vietām, kuras vēlējāmies redzēt šajā ceļojumā. Pavadot tik daudz laika vienā naktsmītnē, sāc pamanīt sīkumus. Šur un tur, šis un tas ir nedaudz jau apbružājies, pārtaisīts (un tas ir pamanāms- piemēram- kaut kādi vadu savienojumi nelikās droši). Ieteiktu pārkrāsot WC un vannas istabas sienas un durvis. Veļas mašinas paliktni/konstrukciju nomainīt uz kaut ko pamatīgāku, un noregulēt veļasmašīnu, lai tā tik ļoti nevibrētu.

• Sergei (10/5): Exceptional - We spent five lovely days in Normandy, and staying at Chris and Ryan's house made our trip even more wonderful. The house is very cosy and atmospheric, well-equipped, with a lot of dishes, dish-washer, washing machine and everything else you could need for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely too, especially if the weather is good. There are good boulangeries and restaurants just across the street and a cheese factory with a free museum in 5-minute walk. If you look for an authentic experience in Normandy and you have a car to reach all interesting locations - I definetely recommend you to stay at Le Douet Fleury! Chris and Ryan will help you with anything you need and provide valuable local recommendations. And the first dinner is amazing too :) Everything was great!

• Iain (10/5): Gite near Camembert - Cosy gite with a garden situated within a small and pleasant town. Very welcoming stay, and our dogs were also welcome for a small additional cleaning fee. Recommended. Internet via wifi wasn't working. No problem for a short stay if you have a decent mobile connection.

The apartment is very quiet, sleeping was perfect. A garden was lovely. The host is very friendly and gave us several useful advice on sightseeing. We will certainly return in the future The Wifi signal could be (much) better; apart from this minor point, everything was great
• Juliet (10/5): Exceptional - Very welcoming and everything provided to have a comfortable stay. It's a real gem and would definitely stay again. Great location also, situated in the heart of a very pretty French town, near to shops and bars. Recommended!
