Guest Reviews
- jan (8/5): Spacious apartment ok not fancy - Spacious apartment good location for us North Scottsdale, 20 minutes from downtown but close to West Kierland which is nice. We are returning customers and always ask for ground floor but seldom seem to get that. The interior of the apartment is ok but outdated.

- Connie (7/5): Unresolved Room Issues & Paid Full Price$!?Not Worth It - How clean the premises and room were. The mattress in our room was quite uncomfortable, and we experienced significant noise on one side of the bed whenever my partner entered or exited it. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but unfortunately, no resolution was provided. Additionally, the bathroom door was sticking and made a considerable amount of noise when closed, prompting me to request maintenance. A technician arrived and attempted to fix it, but it proved unfixable. The worker mentioned that the building is scheduled for renovation soon, which, while informative, did not resolve our immediate issue. I also requested an extra blanket and was informed it would be sent, but it did not arrive until the day before our departure. All three TVs did not work properly the internet would freeze just watching local channels it was impossible, that did not get resolved. All of our communications were conducted via text message. When I inquired about potential compensation from the hotel, the individual I spoke with seemed to perceive my request as an attempt to receive all four nights free. I was hoping for at least one night's compensation, but this was not granted. I believe there should be a clear policy for compensation when guests encounter issues within their rooms. I paid the full price for my stay, yet I feel I did not receive the value I expected, and I am quite dissatisfied with the experience. While I have stayed at this establishment multiple times in the past, I am now uncertain if I will choose to do so again. So many issues and none were resolved. The more I think about it, I will not be staying there.
- BrownDog3 (10/5): Spacious and clean - Tons of space and nice and helpful staff. The hotel is not a resort and it has limited amenities, but that was clear to me in the hotel description and price. It feels like a converted condo building but that met our needs very well. We had a 3 BR for our family of 4.
- gralla77 (6/5): Scottsdale Links - - We've stayed at this resort in the past and chose it this year for a two week stay with family. We stayed in a three-bedroom unit in building ten. For the five weeks prior to our visit, we stayed in a one-bedroom unit at another resort. We like the location and the units overall but there were a lot of issues with this stay.
1. Overly aggressive timeshare staff - Proceeded to the parking lot to speak with my wife when I told them at check-in that we weren't interested in a presentation.
2. Dirty floors – We contacted the front desk because our floors were VERY dirty and asked for them to be mopped. They said they’d send housekeeping, but the floors were never cleaned.
3. Weak Internet – Our devices were slow and kept telling us that the internet connection was weak. We contacted the front desk, and they said they’d send maintenance over to reboot the system. We never seen anyone stop by our unit and we had slow internet the entire stay.
4. TV Buffering – The TV continuously buffered and froze. We contacted the front desk, and they said they’d send maintenance over to investigate. We never seen anyone stop by our unit and we had the same issue our entire stay. We never did get to watch CBS.
5. Although our building was remodeled, it appears to have only been a simple paint job and some new bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The kitchen faucet was loose and had to be held with two hands when using.
6. Because we stayed two weeks, our unit was cleaned after the first week. Housekeeping took our pool towels and didn’t leave any replacements. We called and received them very late the following day. Also, we were told housekeeping would clean our unit between 9:00am and 4:00pm. They did not arrive until 4:30pm. This is a significant inconvenience when on vacation. The other resort we stay at let us schedule housecleaning for a specific time.
7. I realize it’s difficult to control the behavior of guests, but it is unacceptable to not do anything. We reported that people were openly vaping in the tranquility pool hot tub, but no one investigated.
8. Our unit was in building 10, which is also the building where housekeeping is located. It is simply inconsiderate to blast loud hip hop music when dropping off workers at 6:00am.
9. Lastly, charging a large daily resort fee really irks us, especially after not addressing our needs or concerns.

Staff was exceptional.
Unit was well suited for our group. Everything was beyond our expectations.

- Mark (8/5): Thanks Hilton Scottsdale Links Resort Team! - The accommodations were very comfortable and clean upon arrival. AC worked well, which was a blessing during the 30+ degree heat wave that is not typical in Scottsdale's late February time of year. Access to a full washer and dryer was a very welcome bonus and helped with cleaning up after long bicycle rides around Scottsdale and neighbouring towns. The concierge service was appreciated and special mention goes to Kyle who did a great job providing useful suggestions. All good. Neighbouring property, Marriot, was a good alternative to Hilton's missing food and beverage services and was a useful recommendation from the concierge team.

- philippemP3157EX (2/5): Sleepless in Scottsdale Links Resort! - We booked a 3 bedroom unit through Hilton grand vacation for 3 nights. Unfortunately our unit was right next to Bell road on the first floor. The road is so close to the unit (about 20 yards) that it was nearly impossible to get any sleep as you could hear the incessant flow of cars all night. There is absolutely no sound proofing in the rooms. I called the office in the morning after the first night and then went to the office to talk to the manager and were told that the manager was in a meeting and that he would get back to us to resolve the situation. We never heard back from the manager and when I went back to the office at 5:00 PM, I was told by the director of guest services that nothing could be done and that the only option was to put the 4 of us in a one bedroom unit! Of course no apologies were made for the noise issue nor for the lack of response from the manager. The receptionist that I had called in the morning had said that they were aware of the noise situation and that they were working to rectify it. However, after reading reviews of this place on Tripadvisor, the street noise problem had been reported as far back as October 2019 and nothing has been done as of today (7 years later!). We have stayed in many other Hiltons and many other hotels in the US, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East and this has been our worst experience so far. The hotel itself is also an unattractive house complex and combined with the unbearable traffic noise I would highly discourage anyone to stay here!
- heatherzM737NE (10/5): Your own temporary apartment - Here for Scottsdale horse show. It’s like having your own apartment. Very nice.
- Gordon (7/5): Good for my marshalling experience at the WMPO Tournament - Close proximity to the WMPO Tournament Top floor apartment. Lacking basic kitchen equipment
- Emily (1/5): - Staff is so rude and entitled. Never ever stay here.
- Kirby (6/5): Very clean. Great staff. Very loud in the room due to the tradfic. If you’re a heavy sleeper this won’t be an issue. - Wry nice property Our room was located beside the highway. Very loud all day all night and that is the only reason we will not be going back.
- Patrick (8/5): - Clean Constant haranguing to come to a time share sales pitch even after we told them we were not interested- airplane noise all day
- Linda (10/5): I always enjoy my stay at the links - The condos are wonderful. The pools are terrific Stay was not long enough…lol
- Tymia (10/5): -

- Lynn (6/5): - Spacious units, clean. Property had basic amenities for a resort property - pool, small children’s play area, fitness room. Uni was equipped with basic supplies, enough to get by, not enough to really cook there. Which was OK for us. The units are dated, and the decor is mediocre. This is not a particularly high end property, but the price was right and a good value particularly given the size of the units, which were spacious.
- Ciccgang (8/5): Beautiful resort in Scottsdale - The Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Links Resort is beautiful and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooms are very clean and spacious. We especially appreciated the onsite store. The only issue was the street noise. It was very loud & did interrupt our sleep. Management offered to relocate us, but we were too sick with the flu.
- 13100kittridge (10/5): Perfect family resort!! I’m not sure why this is rated so poorly on this website?? It was great!! Warm pool, big units. - Great resort for a family! Loved the warm pool, fire pits, gym, playground, pool, ping pong, huge units, quiet location!
- P705PFtimc (10/5): Will keep coming back - Great at all aspects.
Great value , vibe, clean rooms with all equipped for a family
Great staff
I would hardly recommend anyone travel to Phoenix metropolitan
- williamlI2132YF (8/5): A nice resort 20 minutes from most things you will want to see. - The resort and pools are great. They try to make it look like a golf resort, its not. It is next door to a mariot golf resort, which you need to stay at to play.
Everything I wanted to do was at least a 20 minute drive. Old town Scottsdale is a 25 minute drive away. Aquarium is 20 minutes. Any golf courses I could get tee times for also a 20 minute drive. Nothing really near by. If you want fast food or a restaurant, its a 5 to 19 minute drive.
- EdH1660 (10/5): A Break in Phoenix - Upon arriving, we noticed a couple of issues with the unit, one being the top shelf in the dishwasher didn't pull out properly and second the door to the washer and dryer in the unit didn't close properly. After notifying the maintenance staff, they both were promptly rectified (thanks to Josh). Everything else was great with lots of other amenities. All staff are very welcoming and friendly. The resort could use a restaurant and or lounge on site.
- Kristy (8/5): Nice place but kinda expensive for what we needed at the time. - The unit was very spacious and allowed us to gather as a family. The extra almost $200 resort fee was a surprise not listed on Booking.com, so I was surprised by that when we checked in. We didn’t really use the resort amenities other than the gym.
- Valeria (4/5): -
- han chiang (10/5): 非常棒! - 有完整廚具跟碗筷可以使用,附近偏遠,但Uber都可以處理,到附近商場大概台幣120~150元。
房間很大,空間也很棒。
- Resortmole (2/5): RCI Guests Beware! - This review is primarily for RCI members exchanging into HGV Scottsdale links. We arrived with a confirmed booking in our hands just to be told by a young inexperienced front desk supervisor that RCI had some "outage" and our reservation was cancelled and they are overbooked and therefore cannot give us a room! We called RCI and spoke with a supervisor who was adamant that our reservation was never cancelled and our booking is good. After about 2 hours of phone calls between management of both companies, Hilton miraculously found a room exactly what we had booked. Even if RCI did something wrong, the Hilton resort did have our emails and phone numbers but they never bothered to contact us just to inform us ahead of our arrival of the so-called cancellation. It is probably more lucrative for them to rebook non-RCI members so they don't care about these third party "cancellations".
Based on Hilton lack of proactiveness, I cannot recommend this resort to RCI timeshare exchangers.
- Dunn (9/5): - Staff was excellent. Great value for the price. We had a third floor unit with no elevator. They could use a few more kitchen utensils. There was one sauce pan and one small fry pan.
- Inspire49091849540 (8/5): Nice Resort - Very nice accomodations but fitness center was closed for maintenance. Great location near TPC Scottsdale golf course which is top notch.
- carolfent (8/5): Lovely but noisy road. - Beautiful, huge 2 bed unit, newly refurbished, very well equipped. Only downside was the very noisy Bell Road just outside the window. Too loud to enjoy the patio but quiet inside the unit. Anyone expecting a golf links view would be disappointed, probably only a handful of the 200+ units would be able to get a glimpse. Other than that, it's car park or road views. Very well maintained unit and public areas, pity that the pool area had constant loud music. We enjoyed Scottsdale and its restaurants and the fact the we could order up a Waymo autonomous vehicle to get to them and back! (no designated driver needed). Overall very nice but corporate resort.
- 65Ken (2/5): NEVER HAVE BEEN TREATED SO RUDE - I will try to keep this short. We are Hilton members which the manager knew. Our family has stayed at multiple Hilton for pleasure (Including the Links for three weeks earlier this year), and I exclusively stay at one of the Hilton properties when I travel for business.
This stay we just happened to book thru Expedia because it was significantly less expensive, that can happen.
Because we booked this stay thru Expedia, we were treated extremely rude, for a minute I thought I was getting punked.
- CatieBecker (8/5): Huge room - I stayed for business. My room/suite was huge and very clean. I appreciated that dish and laundry soap were provided. The gym was nice and more equipped than many hotel gyms. I didn’t use the pools but they looked nice and family one was quite large. Service was excellent. I’ll likely bring my child with me next time, there were lots of amenities for children. I gave a 4 instead of a 5 as there was no coffee shop or restaurant on site, but both things are next door at the Marriott.
- Tom (8/5): Very convenient. - Had a third floor walk up.
- Joseph (8/5): -
- ChrisInCenCal (10/5): Very nice accommodations, reasonable price. - Very well appointed and located property. It apparently was a apartment complex back in the day and Hilton converted it to a Vacation Club property. Very nice grounds and accommodations, which include workout room,2 pools, barbecue facilities , and adjacent to a golf course. Room Safari neat and spacious and come in one, two, and three bedroom units. Rates are very reasonable but if there is one drawback to the rates is that you have to sit through a commercial on a timeshare. Not a big deal; place is highly recommended.
- 422tetianaa (2/5): Horrible . Ruined our vacation - I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Hilton Vacation/Resort in Scottsdale was unacceptable and needs to be shared.
First, the property is old and poorly maintained — not at all what Hilton advertises in their glossy marketing. The rooms felt dated, worn down, and did not reflect the “resort” standard we were promised.
Second, when we tried to raise our concerns with staff, we were met with dismissive, rude customer service that made the entire situation even more stressful.
We booked this trip through a Hilton promotional package expecting a quality resort stay, and what we got instead was a bait-and-switch to a run-down property with zero accountability. Hilton should be ashamed to attach their brand name to this experience.
I strongly caution anyone considering staying here: do not waste your money or your time. There are plenty of other hotels in Phoenix that respect their guests and maintain basic standards of cleanliness and customer care.

- X1241WVmelanier (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommended - From the moment I checked in the staff was welcoming & made me feel important. The suite was spacious & well stocked with amenities. It had an ‘ at home’ feel. The beds were comfortable & the pillows were nice & fluffy. 10 out of 10 the best place I’ve stayed.
- Brown (10/5): -
- Goddess1947 (10/5): A Glorious Vacation - The resort is wonderful!
Great location - well serviced with restaurants and supermarkets
Unit very well designed and comfortable
The quiet - spectacular
I will recommend the resort to all who ask about my vacation.
- R9964GWmarkd (10/5): Very relaxing - Nice property and excellent staff .
Pool and common areas very clean well maintained.
Staff is very friendly and responsive.
- Curiosity19125390351 (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Beautiful resort. Well maintained, clean, safe, upscale. I definitely want to come back and would highly recommend. Love it.
- Thomas (9/5): The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The unit was what we anticipated. - n/a
- Roam584822 (10/5): Hilton Vacation Club Scottsdale Links Resort - Nice resort and located with plenty of shopping and restaurants close by. The rooms were nice, but the kitchens could have been a little better stocked. However, if anything was needed that wasn't supplied in the kitchen you could contact the front desk for the item(s) such as blenders, etc. The staff was very accommodating and no complaints about the resort. We were there in August, so yes, it was hot, buy that was to be expected.
- Ed (5/5): Would not stay here again. We are not buyers of timeshares - Nice and big. The toilet is way too low
- eric (9/5): -
- Linda (5/5): - Apartment was clean They had was on the patio. I couldn’t enjoy the patio. They said they was gonna refund my resort fee and they did not do that so far.
- RandallM365 (10/5): Very nice resort in the heart of Scottsdale and also near Sedona - We enjoyed the amenities at the resort. The pool was very nice, spa (hot tub) was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Unit was updated and spacious - including a walk in closet in the primary. Close to everything in Scottsdale and not far from Sedona. Staff was very nice and accomodating.
- Natasha (10/5): Would definitely stay again for another staycation or birthday celebration - Everything was easy to come by , parking was accessible, room was clean , facilities were clean , pool was relaxing not over crowded Little out dated but I’m simple so it didn’t bother me much
- Calvin (9/5): - The very nice Nothing bad
- crystalcE1792DY (10/5): Great stay! - This place is nice and very clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Pool was great and property was great.
- Tyrone (8/5): -
- Todd (1/5): I checked in and checked out and took the loss..: the front desk literally ripped up my key folder in front of me when I - Property is run down and TIRED. See above. The front desk representative literally, and dramatically ripped up my key folder when I shared that the “property accommodations are below my standards.”They did not ask me why or make any BASIC attempt at ANY customer service.
Clearly, poor management and or she was potentially embarrassed for working there lol.
Hey, this place is fine for people that want to save a buck and feel comfortable bringing their own cooler of drinks to the pool ( IYKYK) :)
- Quintero (9/5): Superb -
- Charlene (8/5): Awesome - Room was comfortable N/a
- Leyva (10/5): I love this place! - Super clean and comfortable! NA
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wilder (10/5): Exceptional -
- DeeThunder (10/5): Spacious and quiet stay - The rooms are amazingly spacious! We would definitely consider staying here for an entire season, not just a week. Laundry in the unit was so convenient. Kitchen and living areas were huge. We ate out on the large balcony daily. Covered parking is a very nice perk. There are no elevators, only stairs to upper units. The pool is very nice and quiet. It is more of a hotel/condo than a resort. Would definitely stay here again.
- Malanga (10/5): Very wonderful experience , I highly recommend - The service, the room are clean, security and many more N/A
- GeorgeP2599 (10/5): Scottsdale vacation - Arrived at 10:30. Room was ready and was able to go in. Very quick check in. Minimum pressure to do a review.
- Malanga (10/5): Best place, best service, customer service is beyond. I highly recommended - Best service
- Lizeth (10/5): Very happy with Hitzel best employee she is a jewel to the company - Very happy with Hitzel best employee she is a jewel to the company Very happy with Hitzel best employee she is a jewel to the company
- ChrisInCenCal (10/5): Clean,Spacious, Good Value - The Vacation Villas are a great place to stay if space and value along with quite nice accommodations are important to you. The Resort is actually an older apartment complex which Hilton purchased and converted into one two and three bedroom units. You do have to sit through a brief sales pitch about buying a timeshare, but it's no big deal and no pressure. The amenities are quite nice; there are two pools, one for adults and one for children. If there is a criticism, it's that the apartments are a tad dated, but they're clean and well maintained and well located to restaurants, retail, and activities.
- Donna (8/5): The place was very nice. - I didn’t like the attempt to sell the vacation package
I didn’t like hearing the noise above, but wouldn’t stay upstairs due to no elevator.
- Lesyk (8/5): Very good -
- Keith (10/5): Loved It! Great Pool! Very Spacious Apartments!! Loved It! - Excellent Location! Apartments were very very spacious!! Excellent Stay!!

- Z1144FDjeanettes (10/5): Perfect stay!!! - Extremely beautiful place...location is close to anything you want.
Apartment has all the amenities and extremely clean. Has microwave, refrigerator, washer and dryer...kitchen has dishes, utensils, coffee pot and stove...all the luxuries of home.
- Doug (7/5): A very good place to stay for some springtime sunshine and warmth. - This was a self-catering resort, which we knew before we arrived. Not a problem as we went out to a grocery store less than two miles away and stocked up with breakfast and lunch essentials. The resort was well maintained and clean throughout. We particularly liked the adults-only (over 18) swimming pool. We were disappointed that our longe area and bedroom overlooked a busy main road. I had requested a room away from any main roads when I made the booking and this had been acknowledged by the resort, but on checking in this didn't appear to be the case.
- Lorna (9/5): Great vacation site. - The pools were great. The noise of the airplanes.
- Taysha (10/5): Exceptional -

- susanmckay7186 (10/5): Great family destination! - My family came for spring break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 2 bedroom suites are perfect for families and so spacious. We enjoyed making breakfasts at “home” and drying our stuff after the pool. Everything is clean and well-maintained.
The employees were kind and courteous; all of the facilities were as expected. We will definitely recommend this location.

- too_few_trips_1 (6/5): Older property in need of a complete makeover - This property is very dated and is not a resort by any stretch of the imagination. Several of the other reviews note that it looks like an apartment complex which gives a good sense of the vibe. There are two pools and plenty of loungers as well as some other activities (a putting green, ping pong, etc.), but that is the extent of the "resort." The rooms are dated, but spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

- Ann (5/5): Stay here if you have to, but you can do better. - This condo complex was conveniently located for a horse show I was attending. Overall this place is run down and out of date. It has the most basic hotel finishes possible, and I almost fell getting into the shower as there is no traction in the tub. I asked for a late check out and was told the best they could do was 10:30 AM. I won't be back.

- Lynn (8/5): This was a good value. - The one bedroom king suite was way bigger than I thought it would be. Nice dining room, kitchen, laundry room and patio. Community pools were nice, especially the tranquility pool.
- Pamela (9/5): Enjoyable!!! - Fitness center have 2 peloton bikes No elevator and we are on the third floor, hauling all of our luggage off the steps. Not good for 70 tear olds with bad knee
