• Elastigirl (10/5): Good for solo travellers - The king-size bed had a firm mattress and takes up most of the small room, so really, there's not much space for your luggage. It also came with 4 fluffy soft pillows. This was fine for solo backpackers like me. Toiletries and coffee/tea were provided but there was no hairdryer which was listed as included. It seemed to have been ripped off from the wall. What I really liked was the large screen android tv that could connect to your device and the fast-speed internet. Entry to your room is by keycard. Overall, it's good value for money for its location, cleanliness and basic amenities. The bed was much higher than normal and you have to literally climb onto it. If you're scared of lizards or stray dogs, this might not be the place for you. The dogs do bark sometimes at night. You may or may not get a resident house lizard in your room. This is all part of the Balinese experience, I suppose.

• Rachel (7/5): Convenient, clean, and good value - Close to the airport, clean, comfortable, hot water, good pressure shower, helpful staff. Good value. The only thing was that the towels needed a boil wash... They didn't smell clean, and the bottom sheet on the bed had a massive rip in it.

La habitación super cómoda, con televisión con Netflix, AC que funcionaba super bien, la cama una gloria de lo comoda que era. Muy cerca del centro de Kuta y todos sus restaurantes y playas. Ademas super cerca del aeropuerto, por lo cual si necesitan hacer noche previo a volar desde Bali, lo super recomiendo.

• Dave (9/5): Relaxing place to stay.... - Top notch facilities, air cond, shower, comfortable bed, android TV, water jug, coffee etc, free bottled water, shampoo, comb, dental equipment, hair dryer, parking for motorbike in front. The staff are lovely and attentive The alley has a number of friendly dogs, and posed no problems for me. Location is close to jerman beach and a few warungs/resto's, tattoo shops and bike hire with Lippo Mall within walking distance. It is located down a small alley, no car access and very quiet at night, great for a good nights sleep. The room was kind of small, fine for a solo traveller or a couple. If you want more than a great room, ie Gardens or a view go elsewhere There is some construction next door, and some maintenance of the inn upstairs, but it was ok. No breakfast on site, they should change the name.

• Olga (10/5): Perfect for a digital nomad - Best stay in Indonesia for solo traveler/digital nomad. Huge comfy bed, new bathroom. Everything is clean. Kettle in the room. Huge smart tv. WiFi works perfectly. We aircon. Shared common space with the fridge to use and tables to eat/work. The alley the hotel is located. Dogs will bark at you each time you pass by and some rats here and there but it’s Bali so it’s everywhere and it’s not hotel’s fault.

• Gabriella (6/5): Convenient stay near airport not much more - Convenient & easy for the airport, clean bedroom. Good TV & aircon. The room had quite bad damp which meant it smelt bad. We were also woken at 4am to other hotel guests drinking loudly with staff in the lobby- not ideal.

• Michaela (8/5): Budget friendly option close to the airport - We had a good time in Ara Inn, it's a good budget option, close to the beach and to the airport. The rooms are small but ok for short stays. Some wardrobe or at least a shelf would be good. The guy who checked us in wasn't really nice. He wasn't able to answer our questions, didn't tell us any information and it all felt quite inconvenient and rude. I think that it was partially caused by his insufficient level of English which is not great when you work at the reception of a hotel. He didn't seem to put any effort into helping us or answering the questions and just ignored me... On the other hand, the lady who was there for the rest of our stay was lovely, helpful and always smiling! So I don't want to say that the staff in this hotel are bad as it was just this particular person. The most inconvenient thing were dogs barking the whole night. But I understand that this is something the hotel can't really affect.

• David (9/5): Had a great time - For the price and the location it was way better than expected. short walk to the beach with reef breaks out the back (surfing) and a short walk and your right in the heart of town. Big double beds, hot water & good shower pressure, air con did the trick, for anyone who visited Bali over a decade ago these items where not always guaranteed, not at that price. Down a bit of an Alley so at night there are some stray dogs & its dim, this could be off putting especially for females.

• Rachel86* (8/5): great value - great value room, we only stayed for 1 night, but was perfect to get a nights sleep and get to the airport its an 8 min journey and less than $5aud in a grab. it was also really near some nice resturants and a bustling area + beach. the lighting was a little stark but not a big deal, its down quite a small road thats a little dark, but no big deal.

Of many restaurants and shops I feel like the stuff here could be more welcoming and friendly.I have noticed that the customer service at the front desk seems a bit cold. Just because of i was wearing a Dortmund jersey. The staff showed an extreme displeasure. A stated tat He is a Real Madrid fan.

Clearly the bathroom has not seen a deep clean in some time, would not recommend. Thankfully we were staying 1 night before a flight the next day or we would have left.
